Hi Thalita, good job in presenting clearly the concepts around creating deal records in Hubspot. I will recommend your channel to my team to reinforce their Hubspot training.
I want to congratulate you for the excellent video explanation. Although my English is rusty I could understand well, so congratulations for your dialectic. Clearly I can't fail to say that the quality of the video helps a lot in following the steps. Compliments. Robert
How is it that you create a phase called “Appointment Scheduled” in a “Deal Pipeline”? As I understand it, this would be even further away from a deal, or only “deal phases” can be created in the view at 1:39. Won't the first phase, which isn't actually a deal yet, have a negative impact on the entire pipeline because it's actually just a lead or MQL?
In a deal pipeline, we create deal stages, which represent the different stages of your sales funnel specifically for active deals. "Lead" or "MQL" refers to the lifecycle stage, which is actually a contact property that indicates where a contact is in their journey, not necessarily where they are in the sales process. So, having an "Appointment Scheduled" stage in the deal pipeline doesn't negatively impact the pipeline-it just helps track progress once a lead is qualified enough to enter the sales funnel as a deal. Hope that clarifies things! 😊
@@thalita_milan But under deals there are no “MQL” because there is no deal for it yet, if you create a deal for it of course it would appear there but it would dilute the real number of deals? -The deal amount cannot yet be clear with “ appointment booked” either.
When exporting the deals data from hubspot how can the changes in the deal stage be tracked? Outside of the activity tab. For example I want to see how a deal went from deal created to another stage when I export the data from hubspot
That would be through a list import, same thing as we do with contacts (see more here knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/set-up-your-import-file) scroll down to where it says: deals spreadsheet
Thank please with regards to Saara as a contact I noticed here name and username are displaying her email address. Please can you let me know how I can stop with from happening with my sales staff.
if you import/add a contact without name, typically this will happen by default. You can manually change the name field, but to avoid headaches, make sure First Name is always a default field in your imports, forms, and when manually creating contacts

There are a series of properties called "date moved to..." which will tell you the exact date a deal entered a specific stage
