I feel like Quads was nicely summarized as: "Instead of fighting a 3-stack of Preds with 2 incompetent random teammates, you can fight a 4-stack of Preds with 3 incompetent random teammates."
I know getting newbs for teammates sucks for competitive play, but Valk newbs are precious. Something about seeing them fly up to try and see the entire map is adorable. Right next to altruistic lifeline newbs who will run through the fire and the flames to give you their drone when you took 5 health damage.
Quads is fun...when you have 3 other friends who want to play with you just like any other gamemode or game in general. Friends truly make things more fun
I used to be amazed when my 2 teammates would go down without a trade but, oh boy, all three of them going down within seconds without so much as cracking someone is a real treat.
Oh also shout out to guy 1 going to the POI on our left, guy 2 going to the POI on our right, and me and guy 3 having to choose between mummy and daddy.

Quads is my personal favorite gamemode to play, it is incredibly chaotic and fun. Sorry you had a bad experience with quads.
