Treatment For One Side Lower Back Pain(Left or Right) /Exercises For Quadratus Lumborum Syndrome

    The Quadratus Lumborum Or QL muscle is a low back muscle that runs from iliac crest (Top side of Pelvis) to the 12th rib or last rib.
    the QL acts to move the spinal column through extension and ipsilateral sideband and is considered a major postural muscle as it also acts to stabilise the low back and pelvis.
    Quadratus Lumborum Muscle contracts during walking , standing and sitting
    and when we stand for long time, the weight of body usually come on one leg may be it's right or left, so this muscle is more prone to be overused and get tired soon . Due to overuses of QL muscle ,the muscle become weak, gets spasm or tight and further it causes Quadratus Lumborum pain/ Syndrome.
    If you have pain in this region, a combination if stretching and strengthening of this muscle is helpful to relieve the pain. Give the following exercises a try and let me know if you have any questions.
    1.Spinal rotation Stretch
    2.Prayers stretch with side bend
    3. QL stretch with side bend
    4. Side Plank
    5. Dynamic Side Plank
    6. Hip Hiker Exercise.

    Sir, Deadlift squat se mera muscles pull back ho gya tha ( lower back left sight)

    Sir mujhe one side muscle tight lagata hai and other side muscle soft lagta hai only rib tak and jab main ground pe baithta hu to dhire dhire tension aata hai phir pain hota hai and sudden bending itana pain nhi hota but agar bending hold kiya to muscle tight ho jaata hai aur pain hone lagta hai...early morning stiffness bhi nhi hoti aur na hi sone me kuch problem aati hai...orthopedic doc ne some kind of vaat type bola hai... aap bataiye kya problem ho sakata..

      Due to poor posture sometimes our glute medius muscle also gets weakened and same posture affects QL muscle too as they are adjacent muscle so in some cases it may be possible but needs of assessment for the diagnose

    Mere kamar ke iss side me or uske thoda niche hip me girne ke karan internal chot lag gai hai. Me bed pr khud se let or khud se khada bhi nhi ho para hu, chalte time esa lagta hai body thandi ho Rahi chakkar jesa lagta hai. Iss side ka hath bhi nhi utth para upar tak sahi se, chest tak pain jesa feel hora, kya koi nass dab gai hai ya mass fat Gaya hai??!... Plz hlp sir

      Agar aapko Quardatus Lumborum ki pain ki problem h to aapko in exercises ko regular krna h krne se pahle hot pack le liya kijiye jahan pe aapko dard h or apne posture ka dhayan rakhiye abhi aap in exercises ko regular kijiye to aapko symptoms me relief milna start ho jayega aapko phir bhi prevention purpose se exercises krna chahiye jb bhi time mile

    Hi sir meko daily subha uth te samay left side kamar mei bht darad hota hai aur din bhr mei pain feel nhi hota lekin early morning uth te hi bht pain hota hai ... mujhe yeh october ke month mei start hua tha.
    Mai gym bhi jaata hu per workout ke samay mujhe pain nhi hota..raat ko sote samay aur subha uth te samay 1 2 ghanto tak darad rehta hai..
    Kya iss exercises se mera dard hamesha ke liye dur hoga??

      Agar aapko QL syndrome ki problem h to in exercises ko regular kijiye aur sath me aapko apne posture pe thoda dhayan rakhna h taki poor posture ki wajah se ye problem se relief milne me late ho so aapko apne activities me kuch modifications krne honge jaise agar lambe time tk khade rahti ho to bich bich me rest kijiye or thoda QL muscle ko stretch kijiye aur agar lambe time tk baithna pdta ho to uske dauran bhi thoda rest liya kijiye bich bich me or body ko bhi stretch out krte rahiye isse aapke QL muscle me jo trigger point ban rha hoga lagatar postural problem ki wajah se wo bhi dheere dheere release ho jayega aur agar aapko aage ki taraf jhukna ho to pahle apne ghutno ko mod lijiye phir niche baithe jisse aapke kamar se jyada khichav nhi aayega or back healthy rahega
