"Is there a problem?" "Are you security here?" "Yeah." "Then you're the fuckin' problem, go get your supervisor!"
What's even better.... Could be wrong, but I believe that Eddie was just having fun performing other characters during the Movie 🎥
So scary man. I'd piss my pants
The Karen special
if you dont belong, ACT like you do!
@@jtfundingnj3032Everyone needs to channel their inner Karen at some point.
"When you think of the '80s, think of Eddie Murphy." *-Eddie Murphy*
"When you think of Garbage, think of Akeem." *-Eddie Murphy*

😂👍
"Come on in and experience some of my bullshit."
..And the rest as they say is cinematic history.
The Beverly Hills Cop -trilogy is so amazingly funny because of Eddy, you can watch it over and over again, it's never boring and it's never bad.
"Is that fuckin' Foley in here?" Lol
@29:32 Billy’s bravery in this movie is underrated and possibly under appreciated by a lot of people. Mr. Video noticed. Billy stood up in the line of fire to take out a henchman.
Billy is down, which we see more and more as the movies go on.
Billy is a classic Cowardly Lion character; someone who doesn't actively thrill seek and is a bit skittish but always finds his courage when he needs to.
The theme, “Axel F,” was on the radio constantly in the summer of ‘85. The soundtrack is one of the best ever. I know you don’t do music anymore, but y’all need to check this soundtrack out sometime on your own. This movie is peak Eddie Murphy.
LOVE THIS MOVIE!
One of my favorite action comedy movies!
Originally Sylvester Stallone was going to write and Star in the movie, as his script was darker, violent and action packed. However, it was rejected by studio executives, and he turned his Beverly Hills Cop script into the 1986 thriller COBRA.
That makes the little "cameo" in BHC 2 even funnier
@@evolutionizer15I spazzed out when I saw that.
I absolutely love this movie! It's one of Eddie Murphy's best, in my own opinion. A great combination of action and comedy.
I love me some Golden Child
@@myview5840 oh yeah!
Dude that was a young Mike from breaking bad. Good eye. Actors name is Jonathan Banks.
"The Chief didn't Chew it all off, you still got a Little Ass left"
A smile immediately came to my face when I saw this upload. I had an absolute blast watching this with a buddy recently, and can't wait to see you laugh!
I ain't fallin fo no banana in the tail pipe😂
Hey Man, I ain't falling for no banana in my Goddamn tailpipe!😂
@@mattlatakas7051 YA 🤣
Mike had the same aura already back then
About ten seconds after Leo recognized Mike, the video cut to an ad for Breaking Bad on streaming. 😂😂
Eddie Murphy had 3 albums (comedy) in the 80s. Delirious, Comedian, and Raw. He wore tight leather outfits in all 3. Everyone told him he looked a little silly too, that was the inside joke there. This movie even came out a few years before RAW.
This movie is great, Eddie Murphy is a legend.
At 20:30 Axel was coming up with a great lie and watch Taggart cover his face kuz he's tryna hide the smile, it was hilarious.
Classic 80s movie Eddie Murphy was the man
Dang son! You're looking all professional and whatnot. Green screen? Nice chair? Pop filter on the mic? Looking good. Keep up the good work young man.
@28:14 Billy’s timing was actually perfect. If he would have gone in sooner, he would’ve been outnumbered and killed. If he had gone in any later, Axel would’ve been killed.
A great reaction to a brilliant film. Eddie Murphy was on fire with his films during this period.
Hey Leo, thanks for reacting to this gem! The 2nd one is actually just as good and usually sequel’s suck. Cheers!
Btw the guy who killed Eddie Murhpy's friend at start of movie, is Mike from Breaking Bad, Jonathan Banks. Also the gay black guy in hotel who give s him bananas for tail pipe trick is a very young Damon Wayans.
Another banger Leo. Keep 'em coming.
I'm going to keep suggesting The Warriors (Theatrical Cut) in the hopes you might do it. It's a proper cult classic.
CAN YOU DIG IT?!
Awesome Movie and Work Bro, Thanks 👍👍👍👍 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
Poppin in for the algorithm and poke that like 👍 button, enjoyed rewatching this movie, great reaction Leo 🫶🏻💕🫶🏻
Great movie. I remember recommending that a while back. Here's some other cop/buddy cop movie recommendations for you, Leo:

Hot Fuzz
L.A. Confidential
Training Day
Point Break

Hell or High Water
Robocop 2 [since you already watched the first one]
Black Rain

The Last Boy Scout

@@Seryma86Appreciate it. 👍
One of Eddies greatest movies! Absolute classic!!!
If I remember correctly, the man that played Inspector Todd was an actual police officer who was originally a consultant for the movie. They liked him so much they gave him the part.
You should consider also watching 48 Hours with Murphy and Nick Nolte...an early Eddie movie that is a buddy cop type film that also has a decent sequel.
When you guys do Eddie Murphy you need to start at the beginning with his First movie 48 Hours.
Gotta check out 48hrs with Eddie Murphy. Another good cop movie 🍿 🤟🏽🔥
Back in the 80's I was friends with the son of Gil Hill, who played inspector Todd, (Eddie Murphy's Boss in Detroit. I met Mr. Hill and he was a wonderful man. He was the head of the Homicide department in Detroit. When I told him I was going on vacation alone, traveling across the U.S. by myself, he told me, "I got files of girls, just like you, who thought they were safe, but turned out they weren't . You better be careful." He was up for a part in the TV show, Hill Street Blues, but he didn't get it. This movie was HUGE in the 80's, as was Eddie Murphy. That was truly his decade.
Eddie Murphy's 4th film, first lead role and debut as producer.
The beginning of his reign as an comedy superstar on film.
This is a classic that really means everything to the hardcore fans of Murphy from his stand-up shows to SNL.
He holds his own with the supporting cast and rocks this joint.
Movies about Cops prior to BHC were either dramas, parodies and/or thrillers.
Afterwards more comedies about cop characters came to be.
The movie's soundtrack and score by Harold Faltermeyer (including the theme, Axel F.) is kick-a** from top to bottom.
This won a Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media, an Oscar-nomination for Best Original Screenplay and became the No.1 film of 1984 (dethroning Ghostbusters).
Part 2 (directed by Tony Scott) is a major winner of an sequel.
Part 3 (directed by John Landis) is the worse and you will be disappointed.
Part 4 is in the works and will be on Netfilx.
Lord knows we can use some Axel Foley back in the culture.
"Rolling Stone's Axel Foley."😂
Love the lions jacket he wore in this movie!
Always love your reactions😊this is one of my favourites.
Victor's bodyguard is Mike from Breaking Bad for those who dont recognize this great actor.
Axel's Chief in this movie was an actual police chief
He seems like it
Yeah he was under indictments for corruption...
Eddie is the 🐐
29:31 The snub-nose .38 has ZERO accuracy after 10 feet, at 20 feet you may as well be shootind behind you.
But Billy knows his gun and hit square at about 40-50 feet.
its crazy how a comedy movie has such an intense villain
It really is considering how funny the movie is. They managed to do it pretty much all 3, first two were the best, with this one being great
I’m a cop, inspector Todd’s not like a concerned dad, he keeps pushing the “Go to the Hospital” thing because the medical report indicating that he had a head injury consistent with him being knocked out at the same time as his friend’s approximate time of being murdered would be Axel Foley’s alibi. Remember what Inspector Todd says; _”…Let’s take a close look at that - _*_1)_*_ a HOODLUM Friend, _*_2)_*_ a Professional Hit, _*_3)_*_ at a Cop’s Apartment…this whole thing stinks to High Heaven…”_ the medical report would rule Axel out as being a suspect in Mikey’s murder…Inspector Todd’s protecting him…and HE KNOWS Axel’s not going to stay outta the case, he tells him to stay out of it, but he knows that’s why he’s going to Beverly Hills…that’s why Inspector Todd vouches for Axel when he gets a call from Lt. Bogomil… _“Forget about what you can prove, what do you have?!”_
Geez! You watch movies like I do. Was that "subtext"? Was that more than just a "throwaway line"? 😂👍
I thought I was the one who normally read too much into movie plots / scripts, but that was great. lol
It just makes the movie a bit more realistic, to think Todd knew Axel would follow his nose anyway, so basically let him do it.
Interesting that Insp Todd (played by Gil Hill) was a real police officer back then, too.
He was in the documentary "White Boy" though, detailing some of his real-life dodgy dealings in the police force.
(the movie of that, "White Boy Rick" is *well* worth a watch, btw.)
Good stuff
Over time, he was like a concerned father figure. Unfortunately, the abomination that was the third film showed a glimmer of that only before Insp. Douglas Todd's untimely death.
@@MrBoyYankee I'm SO glad it wasn't just me who thought part 3 was awful.
I was worried somebody might have said it was their favourite (although I don't see how. lol)
I guess the analogy for Part 3 would be like the 2014 remake of Robocop vs the 1987 Robocop - the 2014 version had NONE of the original vibe, satire, character, tight script, dark humor. They just missed the mark completely.
It even looked like Eddie Murphy got a bit bored during that one, sadly.
Gotta do Beverly Hills Cop 2. It's very good.
A year before this movie, Billy, (Judge Reinhold) starred in the movie FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH, he was part of one of the most iconic moments in 80s movie history with Phoebe Cates (Gremlins) in which he gets caught fantasizing and self pleasure by Phoebe, in which he just got a little too excited. The strip bar joke was Eddie improvising and ribbing Judge about his claim to fame.
Ok, Leo. You're doing great. The next movie for you is Eddie Murphy's first one. It's called 48 Hours and it's a real blast. I guarantee you will love it!!
And if you're that concerned about the order if the movies, then check the release dates. Also, because I've seen you enjoy a certain madness in comedy, you should certainly take a look at these three classic comedies.
SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT,
STIR CRAZY,
and NATIONAL LAMPOON'S ANIMAL HOUSE. They will leave you in stitches. Enjoy
I never caught that Eddie was laughing at his own "Raw" outfit.
😂😂😂
Boomerang and Golden Child. Love this reaction. 😂❤
Man ive been waiting soooo long for you to watch this movie. My favorite Eddie film ever. I think the best thing about this movie is that Billy n Taggert become the crew he never knew he needed and Bogimil becomes a new mentor trying to keep him in line just like Inspector Todd has been doing
There’s an episode of Family Guy where Peter loves to sing the theme song of this movie 😂🤣 “Hehehehehehe and then another Hehehehehe!” 😂
Eddie watching Eddie, perfect.
Now you have to watch part 2. Eddie Murphy is so amazing.
16:18 "How could you not notice a man sticking a banana in your tailpipe?".
Completely fair question, that seems like something people should notice.
I hope you react to the 2 & 3 as well! Don't sleep on it bro 😂
Honestly this is one of my favourite films with eddie murphy and I love how he portrayal's Axel foley 👌😃👌😃👌😃
You definitely need to check out life with eddie Murphy and Martin lawrence.
Eddie wore a purple suit in Raw. he was wearing the red leather suit in Delirious.
That's Herbie Hancock on the music. He did the famous "Axel F" theme. He's a jazz pianist. Played with Miles Davis in the 60s. Then he moved into jazz/rock fusion in the 70s. "Watermelon Man" is one of his most famous jazz tunes. He had a few pop hits in the 80s. And he's still around today.
Another amazing reaction! Thanks for all the content Leo. Bringing that heat! Consider reacting to Harlem Nights (1989). It’s not as talked about, as other Eddie Murphy movies, he did it after coming off a high of back to back 80s hits. It was a passion project for him, worth checking out.
It's hilarious. Some of my favorite lines are from Della Reese. "Got my mouth all set for hash." "You shot my pinky toe!"
Ok, you've seen this one, but you NEED to see the second one!!! For reals!!!
The 2nd Movie is My Favorite of These Movies!
Anyone else notice how when the action starts, Mr. Video gets all anxious. Eyes get big, sits up in the chair (new chair), pulls awesome faces? Friggin' love that, lol.
He is doing part 4 but I believe you would enjoy 48 hours which is his first movie
Hell yes. This is what I grew up with. Beverly Hills Cop. Beverly Hills Cop 2 is one of my favorites movies ever but this one is really good too. Very excited to enjoy this with you.
"You're not gonna fall for the banana in the tailpipe?"
I cant wait to see ur reaction to one of my favorite childhood movies!!! 🥰🥰
⚜️ Best cop series ever, Leo! 🔥
😂 “I didn’t just walk into this city from the cotton fields”, f’n Inspector Todd
its going to be interesting to see if Eddie can really be Axl Folley again in 2023. I think there's a good chance he still can be that guy
Inspector Todd was the real chief of Detroit PD and suspected of being crooked as shit.
You need to see his first movie 48 hours great movie he did a great job
Your reactions are so fun and never fail to bring me a smile and laugh when I need it.
We just had to put down a beloved pet on Saturday and seeing this today is the first time I’ve laughed since.
As always, thank you 🙏🏼
Keep up the great work and the great vibes! ✌🏽
You need to watch the others ASAP, they're all hilarious.
Axel Foley is my favourite of all of Eddies’ characters!
Everybody did a good job on this movie, but Mr. Murphy is (in the jargon of a previous generation) _somethin' ELSE!_ And, in *The Golden Child* a couple of years later, he did it again, with hardly any gunplay to speak of. Warmly recommended.
A great time in your company for this feature, sir. Consider the following subscription a holidays gift. 😎
OMG Leo!!! "Life"! "Life"! Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence..top 5 of all time in my book (not top 5, but I wonder why they haven't redone Harlem Nights yet? Hmm wait til you see that)
1. GOOF: An entire truck loaded with EMPTY cigarette boxes.🙄
2. IMVHO Eddies' best movies are "Trading Places and "Coming to America"😎😎
3. Serge/Bronson Pinchot was in a funny series "Perfect Strangers".
4. Jenny/Lisa Eilbacher played Segar in "An Officer and a Gentleman" HINT HINT
5. Maitland/Steven Koff is one of the best bad guys ever!😁 He also played the Soviet Colonel in "Rambo II".
6. Billy/Judge Reinhold played Brad Hamilton in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"
That hotel Axel is staying in would cost almost $700 a night today, if you adjust the $235 from 1984 dollars to now. I've stayed at some very nice hotels that look like palaces on the inside and none have been $700 a night. But his way of getting a room was definitely effective.
This is one of my all time favorite movies! You should watch “48 Hours,” with him and Nick Nolte. It’s another early Eddie Murphy classic!!
9:36 Eddie starts to laugh when he sees the two extras wearing leather outfits because he wasn’t expecting them to be wearing the outfit he wore in Raw.
19:50 . "BILLY YOU CHANGED MAN! WHAT YOU DOING WITH ALL THIS GUN MAN! 😂
Such a god damn good movie
The guy that plays Jeff is great too. He plays in a show called "Mad About You,from the 90's.
Eddie owned the 80’s but judge and john were so great as well
I love this series, they are making a new one too! The soundtrack to the first one is full of bangers, too bad YT won't allow any of em. 😅
A comedy classic!! 😂
Yep that is indead mike. Back in my day back in the 80s he was always like a henchman in a ton of movies and TV shows.
Oh yeaaa u & Eddie in this movie are the perfect match😍
20:28 Eddie Murphy was wired on caffeine and riffed off the cuff the "Super Cops" routine. His two co-stars were trying their best not to laugh and screw up the scene.
Definitely believe that.
I didn't see any of these in the movie theater but I remember seeing them on video tape from an uncle who recorded them off HBO and I f****** loved them when i was a kid
Another amazing trilogy of classic movies.
DUUUUUUDE! Richard Pryor STIR CRAZY....C'mon don't leave me hanging man!!!
Best soundtrack of the 80's!!
I made a point to go see Nakatomi tower and the Beverly Hills police department building for die hard and Beverly Hills cop when I was in LA about five years ago. As an Australian movie buff who will probably never set foot on American soil again, it was pretty surreal for me.
Just so you can get a better understanding of the price because $200 dollars might not sound like a lot but remember this was the 80s when $200 was a lot. Those presidential suites go for about $17,000 per night currently.
I LOVE THE ENTIRE TRILOGY
Hi Mr V looking good. Another great from Eddie Murphy. Hope Bellas well. Hugs for her and love to you and your family.❤
Awesome movie..thanx Mr v, hope u can do 2 and 3.
One of my all time fave movies!!
BH Cop 2 is good too, another T-bar scene you'll like!
who wouldnt wanna see an ex president at a titty club?
and the Playboy Mansion.
7:00 I don’t know why everyone is shocked when this happens, I saw this film at 12 and it never bothered me.
i saw this movie as a young lad on tv, and i thought the part about la were people just take any car was a fact. i didnt get sarcasm at the time
@Its Mr Video The three things I will always remember is in the strip club scene they SHOW you Axel is a great cop not TELL you. You see it first hand how good he is. The second things is the amazing soundtrack, and lastly is no comic before or after every had a start to a career as Eddie did. 48 hours, this, and trading places were his first 3 films Icon after Icon after Icon
