Before getting started, here are some things to remember:
1. It is a good idea to research component compatibility. If you’re purchasing a PC build kit then, you don’t have to worry because everything is already compatible. If not and you’re unsure about the components of your build, then take a few minutes to leverage some of Newegg’s shopping tools like our Memory Finder or PSU Finder. Many PC parts like hard drives or optical drives are usually compatible with most components but, some aren't.
2. When it comes to the actual build, never force anything. For the most part these components are pretty tough, but if you get the feeling something doesn’t fit, do not force it into place. Double check your parts by looking online for information. You can always look at the manufactures site for the specific part you’re having trouble with. Be sure to carefully examine the pieces that are supposed to be fitting together and look for damages or broken parts. This should keep you from accidentally breaking any of your new hardware.
3. Keep your work space clean and organized. Many components are very small and it is easy to lose screws and small pieces. Make sure you keep everything close at hand and easy to find. This will make the process much easier.
4. Keep your PC build's power cable unplugged while you are working on it. Usually components are designed to be safe, but taking precautions never hurts. Only plug in the power cable when you’re ready to turn everything on. Also, when making any adjustments, don’t touch anything inside your PC case without unplugging first.
Once your build is up and running in all its glorious gloriousness, you’ll know it was all worth it. Congratulations on putting together your PC, and keep shopping at Newegg.

dude you have no idea, im new to building my own pc and i didnt know how to choose motherboards and what chipsets were, but NO OTHER youtube channel said anything about that and just said what is good or not, and only the newegg video told me what motherboards are compatible with gpus and cpus and what to look for to what fits.

Pretty damn good build guide. Better than the Verge's, though having a guide where you instruct the user to run a hose from their faucet directly to their case so it pours water over the motherboard to keep it cool would be a better guide than the Verge's.
Yay! I got a heart from Newegg. I knew I was right in ordering all the stuff I could for my PC from them. Can't edit the original comment since it'll remove the heart and I don't want that.
@@randomlyentertaining8287 How about a reply? What CPU/Mobo/GPU are you going with?
@@Neweggstudio *fanboy squealing*
I used a Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H, a Radeon RX 580 Armor OC 8GB GPU, and a Pentium G4560T, though the CPU was not of my choice. I wanted a i7-7700, since it was the best CPU I could use with that board (Yeah, I messed up with buying that) but my job fired me before I could buy it and after, I couldn't afford a 300-350 dollar CPU so I had to get the G4560T on Ebay for 49 bucks.
At least half my PC has Newegg purchased stuff in it. My case, PSU, GPU, and monitor (the one I bought when I built it. Was destroyed in a fit of anger, couldn't afford an exact replacement) all came from you guys and got to say, I was very happy with the speed of delivery. Only three days between purchase and receipt. I should also be buying a Crucial BX500 2TB SSD from you guys within a couple months to expand my storage since nowadays, 550 GB of total storage between two drives isn't a whole lot of space when you have Steam and their sales.
Hope my blathering wasn't annoying. When I talk, I usually go overboard in detail.

I wouldn't. What I was doing was making a joke that the Verge's build was worse than what I stated.

Totally love this video. I saw it first as a ad preceding a Linus Tech Tips video. I thought wow, Linus hired someone with a really good voice.....I looked up and discovered it was an ad from Newegg! I clicked like and watched the complete ad....Then I located the actual video on RUclips. I really like Linus Tech Tips but they talk like nerds, This guy is a professional with a AWESOME voice,
Plus Linus doesn’t really light up his “ how to build a pc “ video all that well like this.
no cap this vid is fire explained everything perfectly. shit its my turn to build one.
Did you? Was it easy?
