  • If your baby Zinnias have been getting demolished by slugs and wildlife plant another batch in a seed tray! You can bring the seed tray inside until they sprout to ensure it stays protected and the soil stays moist.
Heres a link to the varieties we love to grow!

They’re tall and perfect for garden arrangements!
    Some seed starting tips:
    - you can start them in any containers, but I do suggest only planting 1 seed per cell
    - get the soil wet first
    - then plant the zinnia seed with about 1/4 inch of soil over it
    - keep the soil moist (not soggy) and in a warm spot
    - once they sprout put them in a sunny spot
    - transplant into the garden at day 14, zinnias don’t like getting transplanted once they’ve set out deeper roots
    - plant in the sunniest, hottest spot in your garden
    - cut flowers once the stems are sturdy
    - Water every couple days
    And best of all ENJOY!!
