thank you, i got a project to charge 18360 batteries and with that i need to power a 12V solenoid, 5V micro-controller and as well as charge phone at the same time. So im guessing we can use usb battery charging module with 5V input to charge batteries and from the output of module, power the phone and micro-controller and as well as power solenoid . when u do that please mentioned ur parts number and so i can order it online

Heya I loved the video man 👍 I have a question regarding my 4s BMS, I just installed one for my 4s 4p battery and I got 16.40 volts out of the BMS which is good but whenever I plug my battery to a load the battery immediately drops to 11.16 volts and but it drops to 4.8 volts when I start using the load with the battery. Can you tell me what's causing this? The BMS and battery cells are brand new.
Because you may be has not test or check the battery mAh , and also each battery internal resistance...
Using bms8 for charge & discharge life&lipo automatic cut off, cheap bms need monitor and manual cut off charge&discharge and possible make lower battery cycle.

I've been making 3S packs for a few years now and last year I accidentally ordered a 4S bms so when it came I decided it wouldn't hurt to have a 16.8v pack laying around and recently I decided to use it which I did and when I went to charge it I couldn't get it back up to 16.8v just 15.8v... Anyone got any thoughts on that? I used a 17v 1amp power supply to charge it. its the weirdest thing. The 200mv of the 17v power supply seemed to work out in theory because when the supply was under load it dropped to 16.8v.

Great tutorial! How do you choose a BMS? In some of your video you have used 3s 10a BMS in some you have used 3s 5a. How to go about choosing the right BMS?

for those of us not very "solder your wires like this" savvy, you should explain what you're doing while you're doing it. We all like the music but talk to us, man... tell us what's happening :)
Jason Snell couldn't have said it better myself lol I saw him do a lot of stuff but don't know why he was doing it and in return I did not learn very much
soldering wires to 18650 batteries is not a smart idea. they are very temperature sensitive and soldering can easily lead to big problems like exploding batteries. 18650 batteries should be spot welded.
if you dont have a spot welder or dont want to spend the money on one, you can buy 18650 batteries with tabs already spot welded to them so you can solder to the tabs:

my doubt is for both input (charging) and output (discharging) is from common terminals. i.e, P+ and P-. can someone clear my doubt. thanks

Yes, how will u charge ths pack I wish to see that video.
+fklotaloi it is 2.3 volt and yeah it is quite lower but now issue with bigger load when it hits 2.3 volt the battery will recover like 3.3 volts so it's safe with bigger load .

I bought a bms like yr one & checked carefully tht it cuts off th load circuit @ 2.3 volt alys , bt very sad why BMS manufacturers did not make th cut off voltage higher than 2.3 ! 😤😤

Well you made a 4 cell powerbank with an average of 2000mAh capacity, what did you achieve? In order to have more capacity you will need more 18650's in parallel not in series so that the capacity will add up, you can just make 2s bank with 4 batteries in parallel each cell.
