  • Introducing, Ethnic Neighborhoods Around the World!
Ethnic Neighborhoods is a not-for-profit social project that aims to foster cross-cultural understanding and harmony by highlighting immigrant communities and real-life stories.
We introduce the unique cultures of these immigrant communities as they sample distinctive cuisines, chat with locals, and participate in special cultural experiences, customs, and rituals. We also showcase the beauty and vibrancy of these diverse communities.
We, Team Ethnic Neighborhood, hopes to break down the walls that exist between immigrants and natives, and ultimately make a positive impact on issues often faced by immigrants such as discrimination, ostracisation, and lack of integration.
    Join us now, Ethnic Neighborhoods!
    --------------------------------------
Ethnic Neighborhoods is currently funded by BXAI through the AIA program.

As a Chinese (from Guangzhou) living in Australia, not attempting to make a claim without scientific data, my guess is that, *authentic* Chinese food is not as easy to find here as some people might think, considering that the Chinese constitute a huge percentage of immigrants in this country.
Many owners of Chinese restaurants here might just be doing business for a living, instead of trying to replicate the "home taste" for people to enjoy.
I would pay twice as much, if these restaurants could hire experienced chefs from my home city to do the dishes and snacks and all that stuff.
Take as a comparison, for example, Korean food, and think about the relatively smaller Korean communities here. And you know what I mean.

Isn't this channel's name a bit problematic? Is it not othering people? Isn't every neighborhood ethnic? Is there any neighborhood without ethnicity or ethnicities?

Every neighbourhood is ethnic, but Chinese don't see it that way.

@@lotuseater7247 When you say "Chinese don't see it that way", are you speaking for 18% of the world's population?
