Maybe instead of thinking about leaving politics and religion we can think of society getting “in tune” - everyone can still do what they do and believe what they want but we all calibrate to the same goal of living in harmony on this planet.
Our differences are like different intervals in a chord. If we could all agree that living in harmony is a human goal, it doesn’t matter which interval/note we chose, as long as we’re in-tune with one another, we create something beautiful together, and we don’t lose our identities, but create a harmony that represents the people on this planet.
