Hello sir I got admission for MTech in IISC this year in ECE .My interview happened in ECE main building .So my questions are: 1)does classes occur in respective department building or is there any common building for it? 2)Are the hostels near to department buildings?

First of all congratulations. No generally they don't arrange anything while admission because there could be many students and their parents. But you can find many hotels outside iisc campus on Bell road or near yeswanthpur station.

Yes you can convert, provided you have sufficient cgpa. In CSA you need 8/10 CGPA to convert. I dont know what's the criteria for IAP. But yes it's possible.
Bro if i get under 100 rank can i also attend to get into iisc?? I mean to ask about if i get under 100 rank can i directly go for iisc without any interview

My rank was 9 in gate mathematics.
Still could not get Mtech CDS .
So depends on your interview and test as well.
