I am Kartikey, a second year UG student in IISc BANGALORE.
Here I am sharing with you, how a usual working day looks like in IISc UG life. I think my day went well and it was quite productive.

IISc is the best place to be! I miss those cool mornings and crazy rains! Opening hostel balcony door slightly open... then cool breeze comes in! A mess Idlis! and fabulous cricket sessions @Gymkhana! and How would I forget Gymcafe late night eatings! IISc is the best thing ever happened to me! A super proud ex-student of IISc-Bangalore!

@@userunknown7569 just usual life differences bro. IISc is more about passion for research so ppl are involved in serious studies throughout. IITs are technical institutions. Once the classes are over, there's a lot of fun waiting. And studying during exams.

@@avghoomanbean6817 bsc in astrophysics nhi hota hai. u have to get through bsc programme in all subject pcmb for 3 semesters then in last 3 semesters u can go for any specialisation. maybe astrophysics is available in post graduate level

@babita sharma start your prep right now, don't delay for next year, SX has more syllabus than SA.
Read the books which are generally relevant for JEE preparation. And don't forget to attempt previous year papers in time bound format.

Dude, I'm thinking of getting into IISC after 12. But I have to take KPVY right? I'm from the north east, can you tell me if you can see north east Indians there commonly? And I need some advice too.
You can get in through JEE/NEET too, but u need an exceptionally good rank and should have taken math as a subject in 12th

He got into iisc thru kvpy, around 120~ rank in SA, this exam is no more though

No, only after you clear KVPY , you need to fill the application form for admission

Brother can you help me... I am havibg trouble filling the form for IISc... As ypu might know that JEE mains is beimg conducted in 4 attempts this year and the last attempt will be conducted in May and JEE advanced would be conducted on July 3rd.
So, mu problem is that when I was filling my form of IISc, it was asking for my JEE mains and Advanced ROLL NUMBER and COMMON RANK... So I am a but confused... The last date to fill the form is 30th of April ig...

If you are in general category then 695 or 695+ so safe marks will be if you get 700+

I am 2nd year dropper for neet 2021 I passed 12th in March 2019 but I have pcb what I am thinking is , CAN I enter in IISC if I clear NIOS or SOC open schooling MATH Exam in first year of BSC and then if give KVPY SB in 1st year BSC from any college

For the particular rank brackets given on the IISc UG official website, you can get admission in the B.S. (Research) course at IISc.

I would like to know more from you that do the class starts from 8.30 to 5 ? And the 2 nd question for the bs research in 1.5 year as you have to cover more subjects no so for the 1st and 2nd and 3rd semester for each subjects how much is the total mark in which exam is conducted and how many questions and mark distribution ? 3rd question will single room is provided there for the bs research ug students ❓. 4th question is there any Kerala students in your class as I thinks that the class is full of english no but in our state if we had any doubt in understanding any paragraph in any subjects they will some time use to say in malayalam also for understanding so if I get there will I have any problem if any malayalm speaking student is there then no matter as from 1 st to 10 std I was in kv no 1 calicut and after that I shifted to other school 11 th and 12th
In higher secondary school so has I had been taken biology in 11th and 12th with physics chemistry and maths and know I had left maths for 1 year after 12th class for the preparation of neet exam and I had no any interest in jee and any exam so will maths will it be tough there and will calculator will provide there during the exam and my best and best subject I love is biology .. as major and minor chemistry
With 432 mark in neet exam is there any change to get admission in iis bangalore with general caste and ex service reservation
