Well this is great on super high AC since super high AC would get hit once every blue moon and by crits you can literally negate that critical that finally hit you!
Haven't done it yet but I REALLY want to play Halfling Divination Wizard with Bountiful Luck, Second Chance and Lucky and basically just be a Leprechaun. Although I think Bard suites that idea better. Maybe just grab 2 levels in DivWiz, 12 in Bard (To get all three Feats) and call it a day
currently playing a trickster/swashbuckling/divination/lore bard/warlock indebted to the entities which hold sway over chance and fate. ive taken lucky and second chance, and martial adept. most fun ive ever had with a build. period.
@@davyjones5056 ok, WOW. DivWiz, Lore Bard, Warlock and Rogue? Did you dump Wisdom since someone that relies that heavily on luck probably doesn't need that good perception, lol Anyway, cool build. I'd love to hear the lvl split I've once multiclassed in more than two. Barb5, Pal2 and LoreBard4. And I took it in that order. Big burly guy that joined a group of paladins but later discovered a love of magic so he never took his oath. Now he just smites using bard spell slots and using Cutting Words, laughing at his foes with every swing of his big hammer which was a homebrew magic weapon that my DM created, on every 5th hit the hammer would cast Shatter just right there and then... but I wasn't immune to the damage. Luckily I was a Barbarian, I could (usually) tank the hit
It's Probably about time I ask what the difference between Action, Bonus Action and Reactions are in D&D... I tried to find explanations, but I'm still unsure.
Sure thing! The way combat works in 5e you're allowed to take 1 Action, 1 Bonus Action, and 1 Reaction each turn (As well as move). Actions are typically used for your main atk. Bonus actions are typically used for class abilities, or support spells. Reactions are typically used for atks of opportunity, and a few spells. I hope that helps a little! :)
@@ChancesSpellbook So basically: a) You can use your action to make your main attack/effect; b) Bonus Actions is a special action slot to fit other actions in on your turn, but can only do specific things, thus not always being able to take a bonus; c) Reactions are things you can use on someone else's turn to counter, suppress, discourage someone from something, but only get one until the start of your turn? ~ Is that correct? I'm making a couple of assumptions so let me know if I'm mistaken on something... 1) If you can do something as a bonus action its only a bonus, It can't be done as a regular action, 2) If its an 'Action' skill/spell/interaction, It can't be done as a 'Bonus Action'
@@ChancesSpellbook Kay~ Thank you SOOOOOO much. I think I said it before somewhere, but I'm waiting for my friends to finish their campaign so I can play, but I want to at least know the basics before that happens. I really appreciate the help.
@@ChancesSpellbook I know It'll take a while, since your only on 1st LV spells right now, but when you finish 9th LV spells what do you think you'll do then... You said in a comment somewhere that after covering the feats, your'e going to do backgrounds. Like I said It'll take a while, but it be a shame to let this channel die out.
@@Blossoming_Fate Since you've been around so long, I'll let you in on the plan for the channel: Spells, Feats, Backgrounds, Races, Classes, How to build a character (Step-by-Step), Game Rules, How to play, Monsters, Live Streams... And if all else fails, I'll look into the Homebrewed content out there. Long story short, this channel isn't going anywhere.
I don't get the comparison to lucky - you're a halfling, you already have lucky. I'm a tempest cleric who needs this to keep bless up a little longer, and also to annoy my DM because I already have a super high AC (which is his fault, he gave me the magic shield) and rarely get hit anyway :D
Fair point! I find I use all of my Luck Points to influence checks outside of combat, I just find Second Chance to be a little more combat focused. I think it'll playtest it sometime soon.

Good point!
I keep imagining a Halfling Barbarian with all these Halfling feats making him really difficult to hit meaningfully.
Very interesting feat.
I'm happy you enjoyed!
Bard of Lord + This Feats.... Unlimited Chance never get Hit!
I'd really like to playtest this!

I dunno man, it’s good but lucky is a better feat. Most adventuring days are less than 3 battles witch correspondent to 3 luck points
