- This is my 1999 BMW M3 with the muffler delete straight pipes on it. The only mod to the engine is the straight pipes other then that it is 100% stock and the cats are still on the car.

I'm a bit late but the difference is that a straight pipe means an average of 3-5bhp in power and it makes the car way louder, in comparison to the muffler delete where it gives around 1-2bhp in performance and makes the car only a slight bit louder. Cars come with 2-4 mufflers on the exhaust system for emission safety.
Holy shit, dude. I was gonna buy an exhaust system for my M, but I might just do a muffler delete instead. This sounds amazing.
M3s are great cars. Even w/ 240 hp.
My eurospec got 321 stock😂
People hate on them but they’re still fun cars got nothing but love for all 240

@@futurenickel702 you’re just ignorant man I’ve never driven a euro spec e36 M3 but I have a ‘98 M3/4/5 and it’s a great car. In all honesty, the extra horsepower doesn’t matter since US can’t go past 100 on most roads anyways and there is a video of a drag race of a US M3 vs Euro it is barely faster off the rip torque is nearly identical. Our engine may be a bored and stroked M52, but it is way more reliable than the S50B30/32 due to no ITBS, and double vanos problems.

I did the same to my 1993 325i, I love it and yes I drive it daily. Since I have to go down town I love how it turns head and gets people to pointing.

Awesome - Sounds just like the Einsennman and you get to keep the 900 bucks to yourself. Techno violet and Estoril blue were my two favorite colors for the E36. I drive
a Schwartz II one every single day and spent the last 15 years filling in rock chips. Black cars need bullet proof clear coating.
THAT SOUNDS DIRTY :D !. We just straight piped our E36 V8 drift missile but it is waaaaay too loud and savage lol. We got a one peace pipe professionally bent for $40 so no welds, no clamps, its beautiful but still not sure if we want to keep it that way as its too much cop attention. We will put a video up in a few days on that so you can check it out and see what i mean. In any case awesome video! love the straight pipe sounds :D

Sounds pretty much like the non-m 6 cylinders. If there were any mufflers that sounded good and were reasonably priced I'd do it to an m3, but since mine is a 328 and I'm cheap, straight pipes all day.

Too raspy & I'm certain you have a loud drone inside the car at certain rpms when cruising. This is a good mod if your M is turbo, but not so much for n/a. A better option would be to delete the catalytic converter & use stock muffler, which sounds best imo, or a high quality, free flowing catback, such as, Remus, or Borla.

I cut the muffler off mine and it still has the scream to it this video doesn't do it justice even though it's pretty..

I have a 94 325is, I straight piped it and put a high flow cat on it.... I have no back pressure and around 3k rpm my car is very raspy, should I put an aftermarket muffler on it or an h-pipe to get rid of the rasp. Help!
So you either dropped the dual exhaust cut outs that every M3 has and swapped the lower piece rear bumper, or this is a 325I kitted out as a M3.

Dual exhaust cutouts?? E36 M3s are set up just like this in the video. Cut out for the left side. All e36s are like this. My m3 is exactly like the one in the video.

hsbrasil american m3 is not a European m3, they had a normal 6 cylinder with 240bhp I think bmw sold about 40 euro spec m3's in America as a "special edition" ✌

It came with an exhaust delete and my god it sound beautiful i would straight pipe it but nah that is too loud and not in the mood to get pulled over all the time

North American E36 m3 was never a real M3 just a hopped up 328. Euro E36 M3 was the real deal

I never thought id say this but damn that sounded bad. Maybe a exhaust would help. I know u just did the pipes n fully understand the reasoning. Just not my type of sound i expect to hear from a bmw. Gorgeous m3 though. My buddy has one just like it.

sooo...... its look at me, or listen to me cumming, here you have a perfect corner to punch it around, but what are you afraid to? it's about looks and sound to half of you guys who only 36 is are you aware that they handle unreal if set up properly? I grew up racing motocross, then superbikes, then cars, I had 3 supras before the very first fast and furious! first car I ever had that went vastly up in value big time you don't see them around too much because the retail price when they were New was quite high but you can get some serious horsepower out of that 4.0 liter bulletproof engine! and all you had to do was boost the turbo, and you are half the way there. on my 99 e36 m3 I have a Borg Warner turbo and that's fast enough for me because it handles so unreal! you can attend a driver school here in America there are so many especially in Florida you could even go to Florida and just to do that and go to the beach and do other things, , just a thought....

Sounds like crap bruh. Oem exhaust with m50 mani or even a Cai sounds incredible versus this crappie fart bucket u installed. The e36 has class, go back and get it.
You're talking about class and saying "bruh" so I can't take you seriously. The car was a track car I didn't care what it sounded like I just needed to hear it loud and clear while on the track.
