An amazing colour, hope you enjoy the video as we have a few owners videos coming up, please slam the Thumbs Up!
My Boss had one in the early 90s and i was allowed to drive it to our workshop to wash it every week. This was my weekly highlight as a 16yo apprentice. I Wish you make more outside filmings to enjoy the great V8 sound.
Thanks for watch, it’s not the last time the car will be on the channel so stay tuned for some V8 sounds 👍
Moss Green such an underrated colour like a lot of green vw / porsche colours .lovely looking car
It really is, great colour!
What a beauty this landshark! That interior looks mint with nice patina 😀😍
I think the interior has aged really well, especially with how much it’s driven now. Build quality is amazing.
I own a 1983 black on black 5 speed 928S with BBS wheels that I had supercharged by 928 Motorsport in Wisconsin. The leather interior looks new. Very tight fast Grand Tourer that turns heads and wins awards at auto shows. Only complaint is the dogleg 1st to 2nd gear that takes getting used to.
The supercharger must be great. We have a video coming soon with a manual 928 and that dogleg definitely took some getting used to, often found 4th.
..@@OutlawGarage The supercharger has made all the difference . It is only a stage 1 and does not need an intercooler. ..these cars run pretty cool anyway. I got it in 2012 and it has been trouble free. Needed just a little machining to fit properly .I think it is set at 8 PSI.
@@george40nelson4 Excellent 👍👍
Appreciate the video of this under-appreciated car, even in some Porsche circles it seems. I love mine, a MY84 manual (which also has the RMD option ;)). While some lament it's not a "real" Porsche, I'd argue the opposite - their first clean-sheet design not rooted in its VW past. I'd have loved a 911 too, and a mate of mine has a few. Great cars, but the 928 is better in my opinion.
A car thats coming in to its own more and more. Thanks for watching
Lovely car in the colour combo I'd choose!
I think you're looking at the factory sunroof delete option wrongly - it would have come from the factory without a sunroof ever fitted, no extra labour required. Same for my old 996 - sunroof is standard but you could spec yours with the delete option from factory.
Just a classic combo. Strange things happened with cars in the 80's in Australia, we even had a 964 on the channel that was originally mint green and then Porsche repainted it after it arrived. Thanks for watching.
Yes that sunroof option isn't a delete as such as many of you are aware it was an option not to have a sunroof .
i would love to see more of the car! do a full walk around and rolling videos if possible haha
A quick short video of the car ruclips.net/user/shorts5Tu1t4d3odA?feature=share
Awesome car and great video 👍👍
Thank you! 👍
G'day,
Great video.
I loved the comment at 14:25 I got married and thought I'd better settle down so I bought a WRX . WTF 🤣
✌️ Peace
Thanks, Chris has had a cool selection of cars. A WRX does seem like a reasonable wedding gift request 🤣
@@OutlawGarage I think I'm not the only one asking what else does he have.😄😄
@@SpencerF6 Might have to do a tour 👍
Nice car. Please install a set of original 16 inch Porsche wheels.
I thought the wheels suited the car. Wheels are always a hard choice.
My next Porsche 👌🏾
1st Porsche or an addition to the garage, either way, a great car. Just noticed you have a badge next to your username, thanks for being subscribed for 2 years, cheers!
@@OutlawGarage 928 will be an additional one. My first is a C4
Really nice interior view whilst they were driving and chatting. But Im surprised how much time was spent with camera pointed at the owner standing away from the car yet talking about it (1/4 of vid time)Then moving camera back and forth between car and owner was a bit dizzying and bit too home made. Better had he been stood next to the car talking about it and pointing out whatever on the car. Then easier on the camera work and easier on our eyes 😂
We have a different meaning for Superfund in the US!
I'm afraid to ask...
Kermit 🎉🎉
Thanks for watching
Fabulous cars. My '81 is far more capable than my '78 911. Totally different cars. Requires bigger balls to own.
We have a 78 911 and it can be a bit lacking, no comparison to a V8 Porsche
@@OutlawGarage 911 a touch easier to maintain, if you , like me, DIY ;
I've never worked on a 928 but I've heard its not as easy as people might think
@@OutlawGarage no, you have to really love the car first and work through the bad times en route to the fix!
Like all older cars eventually everything needs attention. But the engines are inherently bulletproof.
A Porsche in your self managed Super and not driven!!! What a disgrace. Not only have house become to expensive for the younger generation but grubby oldies are storing Porsche's for value and real enthusiasts cannot buy the car of their dreams.
Thankfully it’s back on the road being driven as it should be 👍👍
I try and take it out to as many events as possible, work and family obligations permitting.
