I think it’s reasonable. It’s not perfect, and not having perfect transformation brings the engineering down considerably. I’d say it’s a good but not great sort of deal. 7/10.
I have always liked these models (I have a complete collection but I still miss this one). I have always thought they are a true masterpiece of engineering and, over the years, they have gotten better and better. Here we are truly at levels of excellence. Excellent purchase, really beautiful!
There are so many engineering similarities between this and the Yamato/Arcadia VF-1s and the Hi-Metal R VF-1s. It's even down to the same particular notches and tabs. And the shoulder sliders appear exactly like the HMR designs. ThreeZero must have based their design on those.
@@FanboyCantina From what I've heard from other people who have the figure, the gap fillers are optional. I just wish one of these RUclips videos would've demonstrated that...
I just got mine today but it looks like I have incredibly stiff slider joints fore the shoulders. ZB, were yours tight or were they loose like they should be?
When has it been released? In the manufacturer website page it says it should have been released in late 2023 but many online stores still take preorders
@@99nessuno99 I'm guessing stores are just starting to get them. I got mine from ShowZ store though I'm sure the domestic stores like BBTS and TFSource will be getting there's soon.
@@longminh2759 So far I've been pretty careful and slow with my transformations and posing and so far it's holding well. My chief concern would be the feet as they would have benefited from ratcheted joints and since they open and close and swivel from Fighter to Guardian to Battloid I can see those inevitably becoming looser as time goes on. My chief issue though is the shoulder sliding mechanism as the tolerances are too tight and have barely loosened so I'm going to have to talk to their customer service again.
For me, at $150.00, the part's forming takes away the transforming overall experience (in my opinion). Let's hope the new line of Transformers they will release with Hasbro won't be like this, as their products are top notch. So, not bad at all, but not perfect.
There was a chinese reviewer that showed that the regular hands can fold into the forearms. Though I did wish that there would have been posable hands that came with it.
Although both are transformable toys, Macross line has a very different design philosophy compare to Transformers. Macross/Robotech toys are built like Gundam model kits, which emphasize details and "proportion accuracy"; rather than "playability".
Fragile? See the original Toynami Masterpiece Veritechs or the recent offerings by Kitz Concept. You could hear the cheap rattling coming from those. This one seems far better and more robust.

I definitely want to pick this up to see how it compares to the Yamato and KitzConcepts Valkyries.
Верните меня в мой 1995 год 😭Роботек навсегда в моём сердце 😏
Totally worth it.
Amazing articulation. How sturdy are the joints? Do they seem they may break with repeated bending and turning?
Hopefully an armour set is released
I'm glad I got out of collecting. I would have had to buy three of those.

the part of the elbow that is in the forearm isn't pivoting out like threezero's product page photos show. is that a defect?
I wonder if it is possible to have the robot mode without the gap fillers?
I'm wondering the same thing
The only reason it becomes a pass for me. Otherwise looks amazing.

It’s easier to slide the shoulder track joint from the base using your fingertips.

@@Windrave hey one quick question, does this figure get loose after transforminig a few times? also would it potentially break in some parts? thanks

How come?
How tall is it in robot form? (or scale)
about 20cm

What Transformers line are you talking about?
Hi,There are a lot of your videos on the RUclips channel bu review, so report them quickly.

I personally have a hard time buying models that are already built. $150 and I get to put it together.
