0 lie, I clicked on this thinking it was from the show, but the realization it was fan-made was a shock. But at the same time? The fact that this was still *this good* is pleasantly surprising. Enormous kudos to the animators. While there's a number of criticisms to be had about how the shots are just wildly missing during the transformation sequence or such, those have everything to do with the scene construction and 0% with the animation/scene composition itself which is consistently really good.

This is amazing, but its funny that to fly an airplane needs to be light and not very armoured. hence becoming an armored robot would out of the picture. But hey Im not complaining. 😂👏🏻
Transformations at 1:23 and 2:04 are clearer than anything in the Robotech series! Great animation!! One question remains: Does the Alpha pilot stay in his cockpit, in an upside-down and backward configuration, or does he somehow shift into the main body of the battloid to remain rightside-up and facing forward? I've never seen any answer to this question. Anybody know the answer?

Not enough oomph in the impact of the weapons, but for a one-man project, this is an absolute work of art.

My favourite mech after the Valkyrie: the Invid Shock Trooper.
Seeing them getting slaughtered here is just painful for me.
Note to the animator, the "chest vent" in soldier mode is also a VTOL thruster.
One minor quibble...the rifle that the Alpha uses isn't an energy cannon. Its a 55mm tri-barrel autocannon. Totally minor quibble.
