Bought this in the UK - blows every other Android device in this price range out of the water and even some high end devices. Great performance, easy to use one handed and it has a nuclear reactor of a battery.
It's been 4.5 years I'm using this device.. and now going to replace it. This was a great phone.. like he said best in this budget.. At first it had some bugs.. but those were fixed after updates.. and there was no lagging or anything.. in this price it was the best! But using after few years the speaker volume got so soo low you can't even hear sound when phone is very near.. i solved that problem but after sometime the speaker again died! Even at a distance of one arm it sound is so soo low.. and second thing is headphone jack.. that is so soo annoying.. i have to struggle a lot with earphones.. i just put earphone in and out 2-3 time in the headphone jack then it plugs.. and even after pluging in it opens Google assistant randomly anytime or will increase the sound to full automatically these things are very frequent with earphones.. and for calls earphones just don't work at all!! Even for multiplayer games where u can talk it dose not work.. it just cut the call.. and some chep quality earphones are just not supported at all.. it was not the case before.. this issue came after some years.. i don't remember exact date.. and also by now redmi stopped giving updates for this one.. so some playstore apps are not supported.. even some Instagram filters app Amazon not supported.. Google map's update not supported.. I'm not even able to see emojis and new fonts on Instagram.. just because redmi stopped giving updates.. but ya that's ok.. considering the price and the time i have been using this phone. Overall good.. everything else is still just on place.. before update there were issues like heating and bugs.. but after the updates phone is so smooth.. gaming is cool.. i even played pubg in this.. ram management decent.. superfast fingerprint.. just soo good till now.. i even dropped this phone many times and from normal heights.. (five feet max) it didn't broke or anything.. it's just fine and fabulous
Overall I'm happy with my desicion.. it was a great phone😇
Redmi 3s was my first smartphone and believe me I am still using it.. After more than 2 years of usage, I must appreciate Ranjit sir for his pinpoint review..

A good video Ranjit Sir but after Miui 8 update sound quality has improved pretty well and for those who feel 9hrs charging time, it's not true maybe after ur miui 8 update things might have changed
...and talking about ringtone.. it doesn't matter for youngsters coz they have phone with them 98% of the day 😁😁

R Rohan Are you using 3G sims in both slots? I read somewhere that you can use CDMA for 3G and GSM sim for 2G in slot two. It sounds rubbish. Can you clear this out?

Thanks for the honest review. The sound output is deal-breaker...sometimes we can compromise with gaming performance, but not with sound output.
