Pixel 8A is too expensive. You should get the Galaxy S23 instead. It's much cheaper and better in every way.
s23 plus is good, snapdragon 8 gen2 as against s24 plus. yes i agree samsung s23 is a better choice than the pixel.

@@TheReargunner I'm using s23 plus as second phone and s24 ultra as primary. I've had no issues in wifi or Sim network. I used 21 plus for 3 years before and they had no problem.
But s23 plus is not available anywhere anymore 😢

I feel like pixel A series phones constantly devolving in terms of performance and features especially after the introduction of tensor processors. After waiting for a long time for Google to launch a good pixel A series phone for a good price point I would be looking forward to buy some other smartphone in the future
Google should move on from tensor to snapdragon soc. As people are not interested in buying pixel devices because of Tensor socs. Hence If they would come with Snapdragon soc then pixel series would make more impact. I hope one day it happens🤞

I wonder why Ranjith chose to cover Pixel 8A when he thinks S23 FE was overpriced at the time of launch and opted not to cover it.
At this point just pay 10k more and get the 7 Pro. It class apart in every aspect. Also it looks more premium.
s23 still better phone this in every way.. and deal.. Sd 8 gen 2 very good camera stable performance one UI in ..45/48k

Hello Sir, can you do a day in the life with 8a Pixel. As that will give us all a better idea if its suitable for us or not in terms of normal usage with few videos/reels and small games and payments and cam usage in a day and we can find out if it lasts the day or not

One of the things I really like about this phone is the Bootloader unlock process. No phone, in this regard, has such easy unlock process. And also the availability for GrapheneOS on pixels is also pretty cool.

I'd much rather prefer the Pixel A phone launching at an insane price and then falling down in 6 months but using the same flagship chipset, than it using some mid range chip and launching at a lower price.

They won't stop the Pixel A series. They would skip A series for a year and start using the yesteryear processor in A series.
I think that will be the big brain move... And maybe they wont call it A series. Branding the lesser variant Nexus and their flagship as Pixel will be welcome though. 😁
How is the battery backup and network reception in pixel 8a?
Battery backup and Auto Call recordings are two things that kept me switching to Pixel devices.
Currently using OnePlus 11r 5G,
switched from iPhone 13 for the same reasons.
Does it heats like previous one?
I am using pixel 7. I am not at all happy with pixel 7. Fingerprint sensor is a major issue with this phone. Previous to this I was using iphone 11 64gb. Used the phone for 3 years. I actually regret buying pixel 7.

I personally think you should change his school. So that the scorn of his classmates on his friend should not poison his confidence in socializing.
Using different chipset will brings new problem. They have started Tensor in their mind so they can easily support devices for longer time and reduce the work for developing for multiple chipsets. But the a series price has to be changed.
Ranjit i want you to highlight one biggest biggest biggest biggest point of pixel camera in india. Whenever i click photos with my pixel of human subject. Photos turn out extra dark than it is actually. Picel 4a had an amazing camera true tone. But from pixel 5 onwards , pixel photos specially of indian skin is not accurate. It darkens the dark spots of the skin making it look extra ugly that we actually are lol. Whenever i try to showoff camera of my picel 7 the photos of my friends and families are never wow or appreciated by them. In fact always lookks more ugly. And these issues are quite often highlighted by many here and there but its not getting the attention

For all the people who are saying ohh pixel is expensive, this is better and that is better, i must say buy the other phones, use for a year and see if the novelty holds up now, I'm not saying it they did get the price right this time around but I mean come on, 7 years of updates and an unbeatable camera. Granted this thing has flaws with its heating and battery, but if you are willing to trade up those for an unparalleled android experience and an amazing camera, I dare say there is no better option than a pixel.

As a Pixel 4a user, i must say Google is relying too much on their software. Their hardware aren't upto mark. Yes they have fantastic camera but they lack so hard on the video department. Battery is so tiny that if you use it for bigger loads like RUclips on speaker or music with maps it drains like bottomless glass. I have to charge my phone almost twice a day.
And the ridiculous pricing.. Even I'm not tempted to upgrade my 4a for now.. The main reason I'm holding on to my Pixel is the form factor for now. I have ROG 2 as secondary. But i love using the pixel form.Really wished Asus could have Brought their Zenphone 10 or some other compact ones.
Google needs to work on thermal management. Tensor chips are heating quite a bit. it's better going with snapdragon or mediatek chipsets if they are not able to optimise the tensor. another thing is their compromises. at 50k price still they are providing plastic body, gorilla glass 3 protection and just an 18 watt charging capacity while their competitors are providing the glass body, super fast charging and victus protection. google sales are very less in India. if they continue to do such compromises and price the devices highly than their market will decrease even more
2 years ago when I bought 6A , it had the 18 watt charging. It took almost 2 hours and 10 minutes to charge . They should have increased the charging speed at least in 8a.
Not sure why google is not considering customer/tech youtubers feedbacks. They were doing wrong interms of pricing and chipset.

Yeah the pricing is just like EU without 2 yr warranty. I think with 7 yrs of updates, Google needs to officially cut prices of old models which provides a premium experience than similar cost A series. Less SKUs better experience due to lesser BOM costs. Exynos 2400 sustained performance was better than snapdragon which was surprising. So Samsung can design good chip. It would be better with tsmc but cost will be more since all tech companies have utilised 100% of its allocation. Vapour chamber will be needed on mid range and high range if they want always ON AI constantly running in background without causing high thermals

The price point you mentioned is not going to show up. The 7a's price dropped to 33,000 after the discount, so I don't think the 8a's price will drop to 35k. If it happens, then there will be no difference between both models. So I think you should reassess the cost at which the 8a is considered worth. Hope you will reply to this comment! 😊
I was excited for the releases of this phone since the the features that pixel offers are so different from other phones but the pricing is just disappointing .
Got pixel 8a for 34k including Buds A . Yeah, the pricing is definitely on higher side as for now but we r also getting high exchange value on older phones like i exchanged my 4a for 13k and got another 4k discount on credit card transaction.
Pixel 8 would cost around 50k-55k after all discounts.
Samsung s23 would be somewhere around 45k for me after discount offers.
S23 FE comes little closer but only for price.
Motorola Updates policy sucks as well as the camera. UI is clean but rest of the things r just avg.
Nothing Phone 2 is a worthy competitor but lacks in quality haptics, camera which matters to me .
I'm not a Gamer so Gaming performance is not a concern.
Choose According to your Use.
