- I show you how to fix a Hisense smart tv (Android TV) remote that is not working properly like one button or several buttons is not working (power button, Input button, volume, channel, etc) or it is ghosting . This should help 50% of you . Good Luck.

Many thanks. The remote was stuck in the on position with the red light permanently on. After 2 attempts I thought this is a waste of time. However, on the 3rd go with some hard whacks too, hey presto it's functioning again. Delighted.

THE FIRST STEP ACTUALLY WORKS!!!!
ISSUE: Only On/Off button is working, we tried to check other buttons if it still works by pressing other buttons and looking through camera Phone if there's still lights. If there's still lights on the other buttons then your good.
We did the first step and it made the TV to reboot upon turning power ON.

We contacted Devant Customer Service and they told us that the remote is already malfunctioned and needed replacement you save us huge amount of money 😀

My issue was that the volume controls stopped working and this actually turned out to be an issue with my Soundbar. Same solution as in the vid though, on and off again!

My volume was stuck at five and not one control worked, but now after following the steps once, it worked. I have hyper hydrosis so my hands and feet sweat crazy all the time. This is probably why it stopped working. TYSM!

Unbelievable this works. The idea is the remote was in a 'messed up' state, and pressing all the key gives a proper reset as it drain all the capacitors.
Not sure my remote works except the power button. Like I can get it to power on occasionally, but generally I have to get my Google Assistant to turn on the tv.

If you're still facing the problem. This works for me. Don't connect the smart remote Bluetooth to the tv. I think the infrared and bluetooth can't work together for too long. That should be a glitch.
In summary, do away with the remote bluetooth and voice chat. You should be fine

Holy shit!!!! I just took out my batteries and held down the power button for 30 seconds then spammed all of my buttons like you said and it freaking worked! My remote hasn't worked since I bought it! Thank you man holy shit
I just replaced the remote control and we only use it twice a week, same issue as the old one. Today it took me 45 minutes to make it work.

Let me just say THIS WORKS. I knew to unplug the tv & remove batteries from the remote but I didn’t know a button was stuck so pressing all the buttons and smacking the remote really did make it work 😂 I thought this was a joke but IT WORKED. Saved me from buying a new one ☝️

The first "fix" in this video (unplugging while on) fixed the "EPG button not working problem" on our remote. Thank you! OOps. spoke too soon. Only worked for a couple of goes:(

To fix the remote, hold down on the menu/settings button for 6 seconds. You should see "Bluetooth disconnected" pop up on the TV screen. Remote should work now. You will now be using infrared to control the TV. Remote barley works when using Bluetooth for connectivity

Ive only had my tv 2 weeks, the remote just stopped working except the mic button in the middle anyway turning my tv off with the plug made it work again , thanks .
Also try pressing and holding down the menu button. So the Bluetooth connects to the tv. That worked for me.

Not sure if it's my remote or the TV but the remote won't work and the tv buttons won't either. The only thing that happens when I plug in my Hisense it turns on automatically same channel no volume everytime, and I can't access anything.
