Thank you, and I hope your English got remarked up. Hope A-levels are going well, nearly 1 year down. Best of luck and thank you again for being so supportive.
Hi, yeah I can’t believe that’s it nearly 1 year into A-levels already. In the end I decided to send both my English lit and lang in for remark. My English language stayed at a 4 but my English lit went up to a grade 6 so it was quite unexpected as I was more marks away in literature from the next grade. Thank you, and again good luck with the rest of your exams 😊😊
well done on your results you worked really hard! I'm getting maths remarked as I was 1 off a 7. Managed to get all 7s 8s and 9s in everything else still don't know how.
Congratulations that’s amazing. Defo a great idea to get the maths remarked because it would be great to have a grade higher. I still don’t understand how I got a 6 in maths tbh lol 😂
@@David-R-C You worked really hard. I can't relate to the maths tbh because I've never gotten less than a 6 in it as I'm asian so maths has been taught to me at a very young age as we are kind of expected to be good at it but I did go three grades up in English literature so I know how it feels to do well in a subject you expected to get slightly lower in.
@@simrankaur2849 yeah it’s a big shock when you realise that you can do a subject that you have always told yourself that you can’t do. That’s really good it’s sounds like you worked really hard and you deserve it :)
god im already here and there’s still pretty much a month to go, im only really properly bothered about my englishes and maths as im pretty much relying on them to get into my college of choice 💔💔
At my school it’s mainly 5s but to get into alevel maths it is a 6. But as I took triple science it means I only need a 5 in bio to get into Alevel. I hope that makes sense.
I have no idea. I got a high grade in my course work but the paper 1 exam mainly let me down but it’s getting remarked so hopefully it will come back as a 5 🤞🏻🤞🏻(I was only 3 marks away from a 5)
Sorry, I do not have any of my notes anymore but an app that I use which is good for notes it knowunity and it’s such a good app I would definitely recommend :)
Hi, everybody has a different experience when going from GCSEs to A-levels. But in my opinion I feel it is a big jump and there is a lot of new work and content to learn but if you keep up to date with all your lesson work and manage your time and notes well then it makes it that bit easier. Hope that answers your question :) 😊
@@David-R-C what would u say is the minimum grade to need to achieve at gcse in a given subject would be in order to realistically be able to attain an a* at a level
Anyone receiving their GCSE results tomorrow, GOOD LUCK!!
if you struggled with maths at gcse i wouldnt reccomend maths, unless your willing to spend hours to work on it every day
I wish everyone Good luck taking any Exams this year! 😊😊

The first half of Y1 A Level Maths there's a lot of overlap with GCSE. At least there was with my exam board Edexcel.
