Revenge of the Sith is always the best film to do a “what if” for as so much happens in it. And these “what ifs” can be effected by a large cast of characters and extra media stories that occur during the film. It’s awesome.
I agree! It’s amazing that Revenge of the Sith is so dependent on a very specific set of events that any small change could have completely changed the outcome of the galaxy.

This is gonna be fun. :)
Best talk between Anakin and Mace I think it was eye opening to see Mace's point of view. I am glad that Ahsoka rejoined the order. I was surprised about Duke Kenobi of Mandalore. I am glad Maul got teamed with Kenobi then Kenobi kills him. Glad Anakin was made a master on his own merits and not just because of Palpatine.
What if dutchess Satine survived and ruled mandalore during the galactic empire era I think that’d be interesting with her relationship with Kenobi both being alive as well as a possible hiding place for Jedi (and the twins or maybe one) as well as a good ally to the rebellion
Mandalore even under sadine would never be left alone...it would either be subjected to empire rule or wiped out bc palatine would never allow a death watch like small burn to arise.......
What I think many people forget in these scenarios is that Anakin did not fall to the dark side completely because of Padme. In Episode II Anakin and Padme have a semi-confrontation about politics. The young Anakin flat out admits he has zero faith in democracy and would prefer an enlightened dictator-style system hinting strongly that he, or those like him (e.g. force users), should be the dictator. The guy was arrogant and entitled the darkness always lived within him Palpatine simply helped it grow.

Anakin is one of those guys who doesn't really understand the current state of the republic politically, he just has an opinion and has the power to follow through on it. This is in symmetry with the fact that he had the strongest connection to the force ever found and yet he never sought out unique powers or alternative abilities and so is just as cliche as every other Jedi
This really feels like what would have truly happened in the Clone Wars series had the ending not been dictated by the events of the movies. Everything felt organic and much more true to the characters in the Clone Wars series, instead of being forced to take actions that would lead to the events of ROS. I truly do believe that Kenobi would lead the assault on Mandalore and have Ahsoka join Anakin to allow them to bond as master and apprentice once again, it makes much more sense to his character. Allowing Dooku and Maul to both cooperate in testifying against their master was brilliant, they could enact revenge against their master in a way that would benefit our heros. And Obi Wan being the one to deduce the identity of Sidious is poetic justice, even though Anakin defeated the Sith Lord it was Kenobi's insight that brought defeat to the Sith. Absolutely brilliant. This honestly makes me wish there was a Clone Wars continuity that diverged from the official material. Star Wars needs a what if series!
Love the moments between Mace and Anakin. Beautiful man. Beautiful. Also have to say thank you, for the homage to Maul's cannon death. Including the grace and respect shown to him by Kenobi. One of my favorite scenes in Rebels. And for giving this above knee amputee something to smile about on a painful day, while fighting to keep his remaining leg. Best I can do, as some things in life, no words will ever be able to explain how that feels.
So Pente you were talking about an alternate scenario where there’s a duel and someone dies. If that happened and Kenobi became the Duke of Mandalore would Vader have come after him? If so what if Vader amassed his own Mandalorian rebellion to challenge the Empire. Would definitely be an interesting timeline
I'd be 50/50 on Vader coming after him. Because Obi Wan wouldn't have been present for Anakin to assume an affair between Padmé and Kenobi was going on. And Obi Wan wouldn't have ripped Anakin limb from limb. I think Vader in such situation would kill Sidious because Padmé survived child birth, and live with the consequences of his actions. Though the biggest issue is Kenobi surfing 66 on Mandalore with the entire 7th Sky Corps present

I think Padme would call Obi Wan so they could go talk to him together on Mustafar but then the timeline moves on as usual except with Kenobi as the Mandal’or. Maybe he takes on the armor under the name “Ben” Yoda takes Luke, and “Ben” is eventually discovered to be Obi Wan Kenobi. Vader tracks him down to fight him. There are two outcomes. Kenobi wins and regroups with Yoda and Luke (12/13 years old) to kill the Emperor or Vader wins and Luke and Yoda have to try to take down Vader and the Empire who are already at war with each other at the same time possibly even with Leia on their side. Idk I just want to see Vader with a dark saber commanding forces with Vader armor like Maul had for his forces.
Hot take: I think Maul could kill Kenobi in the scenario. We never actually see Maul try and kill Kenobi full out except for TPM and Rebels, in the clone wars he never actually wants to kill kenobi and just wants to make him suffer
This is just not true. Maul was at his weakest state on mandalore which is why it was possible for him to be taken down by Ashoka. Obiwan was much more experienced then Ashoka so this fight would likely have been easier. Maul tried to kill obiwan with savage opress in multiple episodes but fails every time (one time even losing a 2v1 against obiwan).
even as an apprentice Kenoby was on pair with Mail while helping Qui Gon Jinn in terms of dueling potential with all there respective trainings after that i can see Obi one just exceeding Maul hell he is one of the best duelists in cannon even thou his not that powerful with the force so i don't really see him losing to Maul in a 1v1 duel
@@joshuajasper5844 Maul didn't lose to Ahsoka in a straight fight. The entire time, he was trying to convert her to his side, so that he may have some form of a chance to fight against Sidious. He only ever used his full power against Ahsoka as he was making his escape on the Venator, and he basically threw her like a child as if her force barrier didn't exist. Compare his fight with Ahsoka to that of his fights with Obi-Wan or Sidious, and you'll see he's much calmer and relaxed, which is basically nerfing his own style, Form 7 which is fuelled by anger and rage in a Sith.
41:26 I definitely think a few things are off with this fight. I feel like, though Anakin definitely has the potential to surpass Palpatine, he wasn't actually at that point yet by the time this fight would take place I also am certain that Mace Windu would be able to keep up with the two of them This would be more like Windu and Kit Fisto fighting Palpatine but if Kit Fisto didn't die after a minute, and they're pushing him rather than just Mace Windu pushing him. And then they'd receive back-up from Obi-Wan and Maul and Palpatine would just not be able to handle the four of them.
@Dark Storm In the context of the story, I think Palpatine would hold back in the initial conflict with Anakin in order to find an opening to convert him. Mace would exploit the opening and would double-team Palpatine with Anakin's help. The other Jedi would stay back but with their lightsabers drawn surrounding the three. Anakin gets the last blow.
I imagine the ending dialog for the final duel after Anakin kills Palpatine would go like this; Maul: the deal is off Kenobi. Obi-Wan: then if you're going to break our arrangement then there's only one thing to do. Maul: oh please Kenobi you know that's not the Jedi way. Obi-Wan: you underestimate me Maul. I will do what I must. I challenge you for the rule of Mandalore. Maul: oh you will try! Excellent work as always. Just would like to suggest; 1. What if Qui Gon left the Jedi Order? 2. What if Anakin & Barris fell for each other? 3. What if Grievous was force sensitive? 4. What if Cad Bane was Force sensitive? 5. Yes we make the previous what if with the Sith Empire a mini series cuz that's gonna be fun as hell. And I'd love to help with that if possible

What if Yoda turned to the dark side? This could happen at two different times 1: sometime before anakin is found and he joins Palpatine as a secret Sith 2: after he is defeated by Palpatine and left for dead
This actually is hinted at in a EU novel, Dark Rendevous. A meeting between Dooku and Yoda in the middle of the Clone Wars resulted in the Sith Lord asking his old master to turn to the dark side. Yoda, entertained this idea for a split second, and showed his dark side, and it terrified Dooku. He immediately could tell, that if Yoda were to become a Sith, he would easily be able to destroy Sidious without a sweat. After the second passed, Yoda returned to the light.
what? Yoda was not defeated by Palpatine and left for dead, he just left because he realized that he would need the help of another Jedi in order to defeat Palpatine without using the dark side. And we've seen darkside Yoda in the Clone Wars, Yoda fought his darkside self and eventually won somehow, but no Yoda wouldn't truly ever turn to the darkside
@@mrswaninator3540 they wouldn't both train Anakin, it's not like parenthood, Anakin would only have one master, but they would just like be together or something, if she survived she survived, that wouldn't really change much except for in Qui Gon's life

this story was the most Anakin actually being the chosen one and bringing stability and balance to the galactic i have seen from this channel more or less the most happy ending there could have been ^_^

Have you ever considered doing a sequel about the ancient sith time traveling to the time of the empire? I’d love to hear how you imagine Vader and Sidious would interact with Revan and the others. What would Revan think of how Sidious conquered the galaxy and his Death Star? What would Vader do in this situation? I’d love to know what you think!
I can tell you right now that if the Ancient Sith somehow travelled to the Empire time there would be a massive war between them and Palpatine's Empire, as they hated Palpatine and Vader (for going along with Palpatine), their force spirits/ghosts did, as Palpatine was ruling and got power in a way disgraceful to the way of the Ancient Sith, as well as the fact that Palpatine was obsessed with the Jedi, whereas the Ancient Sith just viewed the Jedi as an annoyance or an obstacle or something to be destroyed, but not obsessed over

What if the Jedi and Security Council declare Order 65 after declaring Palpatine a traitor and Palpatine issues Order 66? Say enough of the Senate declares Palpatine a traitor but Palpatine declares their decree invalid and treason as well. Who would the clones obey? When there is questionable legality for both, what clones would follow what order? What happens if some Clones get Order 66 first and others 65 first? A civil war amongst the Clones going on during all of it as well?
Iirc, the other orders were placed in the clones to assuage any doubt- based on that, I don't think the other ones were serious. Add the fact that the explicit purpose is to _apprehend_ or _remove_ the Jedi, rather than to _kill_ them, it seems like Sidious had his fingers on the scales all the while. I could also make a mathematics argument for this position: If they were, it implies that the glitch that affected the trooper who tips off Ahsoka in the end of Clone Wars was one of more than one hundred who faced such a glitch/malfunction, it's just that the other ones obviously weren't as spectacular. However, are we to believe that the other orders- suspension of habeas corpus, arrest/execution of supreme chancellor, martial law, collective punishment, etc etc- coincidentally never got activated in a situation where it would cause a visible problem? We're shown many different angles on clone discipline, including a soldier taking spoils of war- to which his brothers react with almost disgust. I don't think it would be much of a stretch to think a clone robotically executing all captured prisoners, or detaining/attacking anybody who was out past sundown, would be swept under the rug or ignored. Mind you- in the prequels, I always thought it was just business for the clones. They serve the Jedi because that's their job, and then they kill them, because that's their job too. They're cloned from Jango, so it's a case of "what did you expect?", but nonetheless the charactisation is (almost intriguingly) flat. They're supposed to be faceless, nameless, exacting and unfeeling. This is separate but it's so interesting to see how the characterisation changed, basically from the first episode of the TV series, on the basis largely just of Jedi compassion and camaraderie. In fact, it makes the story even more tragic if the clones basically _grew_ a conscious from scratch. If they started out as Kaminoan products, starting from the template of a man whose life's work was murder (and had the resulting empathy centres of a shrivelled raisin), and implanted with chips to keep them loyal and ensure their exact betrayal, then them developing personalities, idiosyncrasies, attachment, is a symbolic triumph of nurture over nature- while Sidious' chip becomes even more tragic. Sidious placed the clones in the war to make the Jedi lean more and more upon them, but never counted on the idea that the same might happen in reverse. Grown in vats. Their donor is a psychopath. The Kaminoans who raise them are psychopaths. Trained for war. Implanted with chips to remove free will. Edited for conformity, efficiency. They wear the same armour, they live the same lives. For most of their existence, deviation was likely physically unthinkable. The only spark of compassion in their lives, like Jango to Boba as father and son, is one clone to another, as brothers.
It would be cool to see a scene where obi wan is alone in the tunnels akin to a sci horror with his lightsaber illuminating him to his shadow and you here the kenobi scream from maul echoing but you dont know where its coming from

Vitiate was never a Darth I dont think. Also I'm very annoyed by this idea, I and many other players played through at least three different attempts to kill him and it would be a little annoying to say he's not even dead after the second or third time he was murdered.
What if the Infinity Stones were in Star Wars? With the Power Stone on Raxus, Space Stone on Coruscant, Reality Stone on Umbara, Soul Stone on Mortis, Time Stone on Kashyyyk and lastly the Mind Stone on Kamino.
Well. It would be a cool idea but the stones don't work in other universes. Interesting to imagine them used as a crystal for a saber ie the power stone does what it always has, time stone could give the user some control of time or could give them the ability to see into the future etc.
I loved this very much but a couple things. Waxer and Boyle were Killed in the cross-fire ordered by General Krell between the 212th and the 501st. There were other small things that I don’t want to list because I’m not a knowledge Stan. Lovely video mate

What if Anakin was raised and trained by Jango before the Phantom Menace? What if Anakin was raised by Palpatine?
What If Jocasta Nu trained Anakin instead of Obi-Wan? Not only would she be a perfect mother figure to Anakin but she would also show him the secrets within the Jedi Archives at an early age
I really enjoyed this, but it felt like Palpatine died WAAAAY to easily. Mace was a lot stronger than anakin was in revenge of the sith so I feel like anakin would be struggling to help while mace would be doing most of the work. Plus, sidious was able to defeat yoda so I don’t think anakin would be able to come out on top while mace only contributes minimally. Other than that, I enjoyed it.
defeat yoda is a bit of a stretch- if it was a straight up duel i think yoda would win but obviously Darth Dbag knows this and used the senate seats as weapons. kind of a weasel his way out versus fight because up until that point yoda had a pretty good upper hand
What if senator padme amidala's ancestry includes not just the naboo but also dathamerian and mandolrian bloodlines. Giving padme not only force sensitivity but dathamerian nightsister magic and mandolrian toughness. Mental as well as physical toughness along with a strong sense of justice and honour would also be a part of the heritage that would be padme's inheritance that her bloodline would gift her with. What if Luke killed Palpatine on the Death Star 2? I wonder if Vader would take him as his apprentice or would like still stay in the light? Or would Palpatine take over Luke’s body like he wanted with Rey?
I have no issues with this other than grievous he had already been in contact with Fisto so it would be easier to fight the Jedi master I at least think he would escape and what happened to the magna guard droids that stood beside him.

Hot take: I think Maul could kill Kenobi in the scenario. We never actually see Maul try and kill Kenobi full out except for TPM and Rebels, in the clone wars he never actually wants to kill kenobi and just wants to make him suffer
This is just not true. Maul was at his weakest state on mandalore which is why it was possible for him to be taken down by Ashoka. Obiwan was much more experienced then Ashoka so this fight would likely have been easier. Maul tried to kill obiwan with savage opress in multiple episodes but fails every time (one time even losing a 2v1 against obiwan).

even as an apprentice Kenoby was on pair with Mail while helping Qui Gon Jinn in terms of dueling potential with all there respective trainings after that i can see Obi one just exceeding Maul hell he is one of the best duelists in cannon even thou his not that powerful with the force so i don't really see him losing to Maul in a 1v1 duel

The entire time, he was trying to convert her to his side, so that he may have some form of a chance to fight against Sidious.
He only ever used his full power against Ahsoka as he was making his escape on the Venator, and he basically threw her like a child as if her force barrier didn't exist.
Compare his fight with Ahsoka to that of his fights with Obi-Wan or Sidious, and you'll see he's much calmer and relaxed, which is basically nerfing his own style, Form 7 which is fuelled by anger and rage in a Sith.

I definitely think a few things are off with this fight.
I feel like, though Anakin definitely has the potential to surpass Palpatine, he wasn't actually at that point yet by the time this fight would take place
I also am certain that Mace Windu would be able to keep up with the two of them
This would be more like Windu and Kit Fisto fighting Palpatine but if Kit Fisto didn't die after a minute, and they're pushing him rather than just Mace Windu pushing him.
And then they'd receive back-up from Obi-Wan and Maul and Palpatine would just not be able to handle the four of them.

In the context of the story, I think Palpatine would hold back in the initial conflict with Anakin in order to find an opening to convert him.
Mace would exploit the opening and would double-team Palpatine with Anakin's help. The other Jedi would stay back but with their lightsabers drawn surrounding the three.

What if Yoda turned to the dark side? This could happen at two different times
1: sometime before anakin is found and he joins Palpatine as a secret Sith
2: after he is defeated by Palpatine and left for dead
This actually is hinted at in a EU novel, Dark Rendevous.
A meeting between Dooku and Yoda in the middle of the Clone Wars resulted in the Sith Lord asking his old master to turn to the dark side.
Yoda, entertained this idea for a split second, and showed his dark side, and it terrified Dooku. He immediately could tell, that if Yoda were to become a Sith, he would easily be able to destroy Sidious without a sweat.
After the second passed, Yoda returned to the light.
what? Yoda was not defeated by Palpatine and left for dead, he just left because he realized that he would need the help of another Jedi in order to defeat Palpatine without using the dark side. And we've seen darkside Yoda in the Clone Wars, Yoda fought his darkside self and eventually won somehow, but no Yoda wouldn't truly ever turn to the darkside

I can tell you right now that if the Ancient Sith somehow travelled to the Empire time there would be a massive war between them and Palpatine's Empire, as they hated Palpatine and Vader (for going along with Palpatine), their force spirits/ghosts did, as Palpatine was ruling and got power in a way disgraceful to the way of the Ancient Sith, as well as the fact that Palpatine was obsessed with the Jedi, whereas the Ancient Sith just viewed the Jedi as an annoyance or an obstacle or something to be destroyed, but not obsessed over

What if the Jedi and Security Council declare Order 65 after declaring Palpatine a traitor and Palpatine issues Order 66? Say enough of the Senate declares Palpatine a traitor but Palpatine declares their decree invalid and treason as well. Who would the clones obey? When there is questionable legality for both, what clones would follow what order? What happens if some Clones get Order 66 first and others 65 first? A civil war amongst the Clones going on during all of it as well?
Iirc, the other orders were placed in the clones to assuage any doubt- based on that, I don't think the other ones were serious.
Add the fact that the explicit purpose is to _apprehend_ or _remove_ the Jedi, rather than to _kill_ them, it seems like Sidious had his fingers on the scales all the while.
I could also make a mathematics argument for this position:
If they were, it implies that the glitch that affected the trooper who tips off Ahsoka in the end of Clone Wars was one of more than one hundred who faced such a glitch/malfunction, it's just that the other ones obviously weren't as spectacular.
However, are we to believe that the other orders- suspension of habeas corpus, arrest/execution of supreme chancellor, martial law, collective punishment, etc etc- coincidentally never got activated in a situation where it would cause a visible problem? We're shown many different angles on clone discipline, including a soldier taking spoils of war- to which his brothers react with almost disgust. I don't think it would be much of a stretch to think a clone robotically executing all captured prisoners, or detaining/attacking anybody who was out past sundown, would be swept under the rug or ignored.
Mind you- in the prequels, I always thought it was just business for the clones. They serve the Jedi because that's their job, and then they kill them, because that's their job too. They're cloned from Jango, so it's a case of "what did you expect?", but nonetheless the charactisation is (almost intriguingly) flat. They're supposed to be faceless, nameless, exacting and unfeeling.
This is separate but it's so interesting to see how the characterisation changed, basically from the first episode of the TV series, on the basis largely just of Jedi compassion and camaraderie. In fact, it makes the story even more tragic if the clones basically _grew_ a conscious from scratch.
If they started out as Kaminoan products, starting from the template of a man whose life's work was murder (and had the resulting empathy centres of a shrivelled raisin), and implanted with chips to keep them loyal and ensure their exact betrayal, then them developing personalities, idiosyncrasies, attachment, is a symbolic triumph of nurture over nature- while Sidious' chip becomes even more tragic. Sidious placed the clones in the war to make the Jedi lean more and more upon them, but never counted on the idea that the same might happen in reverse.
Grown in vats. Their donor is a psychopath. The Kaminoans who raise them are psychopaths. Trained for war. Implanted with chips to remove free will. Edited for conformity, efficiency. They wear the same armour, they live the same lives. For most of their existence, deviation was likely physically unthinkable.
The only spark of compassion in their lives, like Jango to Boba as father and son, is one clone to another, as brothers.
Duke Kenobi with Satine dead is like having your cake but being unable to eat it.

It would be cool to see a scene where obi wan is alone in the tunnels akin to a sci horror with his lightsaber illuminating him to his shadow

Vitiate was never a Darth I dont think. Also I'm very annoyed by this idea, I and many other players played through at least three different attempts to kill him and it would be a little annoying to say he's not even dead after the second or third time he was murdered.

Well. It would be a cool idea but the stones don't work in other universes. Interesting to imagine them used as a crystal for a saber ie the power stone does what it always has, time stone could give the user some control of time or could give them the ability to see into the future etc.

I really enjoyed this, but it felt like Palpatine died WAAAAY to easily. Mace was a lot stronger than anakin was in revenge of the sith so I feel like anakin would be struggling to help while mace would be doing most of the work. Plus, sidious was able to defeat yoda so I don’t think anakin would be able to come out on top while mace only contributes minimally.
Other than that, I enjoyed it.
defeat yoda is a bit of a stretch- if it was a straight up duel i think yoda would win but obviously Darth Dbag knows this and used the senate seats as weapons. kind of a weasel his way out versus fight because up until that point yoda had a pretty good upper hand

What if senator padme amidala's ancestry includes not just the naboo but also dathamerian and mandolrian bloodlines. Giving padme not only force sensitivity but dathamerian nightsister magic and mandolrian toughness. Mental as well as physical toughness along with a strong sense of justice and honour would also be a part of the heritage that would be padme's inheritance that her bloodline would gift her with.
