Bitter sweet ending to Kenobi, sad that he die but he did hold his own. Glad to see Palpatine taken out and Dooku taking over for the separatist. I really liked this outcome with Anakin finding peace in the end.
Honestly it's interesting to think that Sidious honestly thought very little of Obi-Wan. He expected Kenobi to die repeatedly and never thought he could ever defeat Anakin. Obi-Wan might be one of 3 Jedi during the Clone Wars era actually able to stand up to or maybe even beat Sidious. To my knowledge at the time Obi-Wan was the Jedi that had faced the most dark side force users and specifically Sith that was active at the time. And because of his Mastery of Soresu he might be able to hold off Sidious for quite a long time and again if not indefinitely
I agree, Palpatines underestimation of Obiwan really screwed him over in the long run 😂 Kenobi is in my opinion arguably the best duelist in the order second only to Yoda in terms of skill. Mace was very skilled but vapaad gives him a major edge, he even admitted that Obiwans mastery of soresu supercedes his skill. However Palpatines force powers are simply too much for Kenobi to handle and he would never lose his composure like Anakin or Maul. Eventually as the duel dragged on Obiwan would tire and make a mistake and Sidious would kill him.

It's in his benefit for a battle to drag on for a long period and Sidious tended towards an Ataru/Jar-Kai style which Kenobi I'd specifically very very familiar with. I think that Sidious' force powers would be a major problem but his primary go to is lightning which probably wouldn't have been the most effective against a duelist like Kenobi. Not saying Obi-Wan would win consistently or even on most occasions but I do think he stands a better chance than most
I think Several Jedi and Dark Jedi could give Sidious problems 1 on 1 using the battlefield to their advantage (purely dueling) Ventress, Sora Bulq, Dooku, , Pong Krell, Grievous, Obi-Wan, Mace, Oppo Rancisis, Yoda, Anakin, Plo Koon, and Quinlan Vos If Sidious reverts to force only Yoda, Anakin, and perhaps Mace could beat him. 2003 Mace can shatter entire droid armies with Shatterpoint

In terms of martial prowess him beating Vader was probably the most he would be able to do. Being backed up more powerful members of the Order like Yoda,Windu,Koon,and even Anakin makes someone like Kenobi a real threat because Kenobi can bear the brunt of a lot of Palps attack while someone else goes on offense.
I think dooku would pretty quickly renounce the sith ways after the death of palpatine, However I do still think he would lead the separatist cause, it wasn't an entirely bad cause, and I'm pretty sure dooku had some personal ties to it (I could be wrong about that though), maybe getting rid of some of the bad aspects of it after leaving the corruption of the dark side
I think Dooku would have joined the republic again after hearing that PP was killed, his whole goal was to kill him eventually and also try to win Kenobi over and over again throughout the series.
I highly doubt he would yes that is true but the reason why he's left was because he hated the corruption of the galactic Republic and the Jedi losing the way that is why he left why would he join an organization again he left for corruption Count Dooku was never a villain he was doing what he thought was right

Great what-if! I thoroughly enjoyed this one! I think I know another what-if that could be very interesting. What if Darth Maul was found by Mother Talzin? This plot hole has plagued my mind for some time now, as we never got an explanation as to why Talzin never bothered to find Maul despite knowing he was alive for all those years. I would love to see this what-if realised!

Honestly after watching “what if mother talzin raised anakin” I’ve been loving the idea of anakin not knowing anyone from the Jedi order. Him just living his life and sometimes or at least one in his life meeting the people from the order.
This was most impressive what if Count Dooku became the Grand Master of the Jedi Order how would it change would Count Dooku discover the Sith Lord would Qui-Gon Jinn his Apprentice be the chosen one
Grand master just means the oldest and wisest Jedi, which after Yoda would fall to Oppo Rancis. Master of the Order is what you mean, and that position is held by Windu.

No Obi-Wan had no chance against Sidious its just that simple. Even if by some small chance he could keep up with Sidious in Lightsaber combat he would be completely overwhelmed by Sidious force abilities.

I enjoyed this one. I actually was wondering on this scenario myself once. I'll note that Kuat would have been near impossible for Grevious's fleet to take due to the Kuat defense fleet having the among it the largest warships in the Republic Fleet at the time: Praetor Battlecruisers and Mandator II Star Dreadnaughts. I'd also note that the flagship of the fleet in the final battle would have been an Imperator (ISD) Class Star Destroyer as the famous ISD was introduced at the hind end of the Clone Wars seeing limited use. Kit Fisto vs Grievous hmm never would have figured that but yeah Form 1 could easily counter Grevious's combat algorithms and made the fight unwinnable for him by the way Fisto is among four jedi who survived combat with Sidious for more then a few minutes so if you can survive for that long against Sidious you can beat Greivous. Now for my interesting one what if Qui-Gon Jinn survived his duel with Maul (Also Obi-Wan survives it too just for reference) and make this a Qui-Gon who is a mix of canon and Legend Qui-Gon that way it makes training Anakin a bit easier as in the EU Qui-Gon did have a love interest a fellow Jedi who met a tragic end (You know its quite a trend that Jedi Romances tend to end in tragedy though in the case of EU Luke I blame that on the bad writing of the Legacy of the Force Novels and the Vong War which I consider non-canon it is those two events because man they basically are the reason the EU was killed by Disney) and how that would impact galactic events. Also What if Darth Bane never created the Rule of Two now that would be a VERY interesting scenario.

Doubt much would differ. No relationship change in the two. Satine will still be a passivist. Some political stuff on mandelore that could go either way as they needed to disprove satine "killing" Visla & prove death watch was behind the crime surge. So there would be a three way civil war or a republic vs. Death Watch civil war (eventually, after seeing hiw the wind blows on madelore and when a chance presents itself. They can't invade a neutral system without proof and satine would still refuse to join the republic) that would cause political problems for Satine. Most likely Bo would hide with her mando's scheming for another chance to change their people's culture to the original mando way. But most likely wouldn't side with satine & the republic. Or would side with them and then betray her by making her seem weak and needing the republics help. Going against her stance of neutrallity etc. (My thoughts on it)

I disagree. Obi Wan was very strong in the force. While not on the same level as Anakin or Luke, it was still enough to earn him a seat on the Jedi Council. Plus Obi Wan was very skilled with lightsaber combat. He used Soresu which uses an enemy's speed against them. It blocks attacks which causes enemies to faulter or tire. This is how Obi Wan beat Savage Oppress and Anakin. I have no doubt he would best Sidious in combat.

@@Lyaagato while Obi wan wasn't on the same level of Yoda,mace and Anakin where force powers are concerned he was strong in the force and the first Jedi to fight and beat a Sith as a padawan and survive in a thousand years And he was a powerful fighter but he was also very smart and cunning so he would be a lot harder too beat than palpatine would realise and while he wouldn't beat palpatine beat alone ( the truth is that no one but Anakin had that kind of force power not even Yoda or Mace could beat palpatine alone only Anakin or maybe Luke had the power to do that) he could hold his own and inflict some very serious injuries too palpatine until the other Jedi such as Anakin arrived and onice the other Jedi arrived Palpatine would have face not just Obi wan but a pissed off Anakin who would see palpatine trying kill Obi wan and would put a end to palpatine before Yoda ,mace or plo koon could even ignite their light sabres.

@@Lyaagato the 1st time maul lost to Obi wan may have be down to mauls arrogance but the second and third time maul lost to Obi wan were down to the fact that Obi wan was a much better sword man that maul seeing as Obi wan actually killed maul the third time . As for dooku if you watch clone wars you will see that dooku ran away from most of the fights with Obi wan and Anakin because he knew that he didn't stand a chance against both Obi wan and Anakin and in revenge of the Sith dooku was actually shitting his pants in the fight against both Obi wan and Anakin as they were far better sword men than he was by that point. Sidious would undoubtedly would underestimate Obi wan s abitlities and whilst Obi wan propably couldn't full out beat palpatine in a one on one fight ( no one but Anakin had the power to do that not even Yoda) Obi wan most likely could hold his own against palpatine until Anakin showed up plus do you really think that a on the lightside Anakin would allow palpatine to live if palpatine injured Obi wan ( no Anakin would NOT!) So mace and plo koon wouldn't even get the chance to fight palpatine.

Nothing wrong with it I had to go back and re listen to the video then to make sure I heard a part that was in their twice. with the explanation of Obi wan being a better pilot, and therefor he should go faster, but palps manages to catch up anyways, could have explained with a leaking coolant pipe/hose instead on Obi's speeder... that way you would not contradict yourself

What if plo koon was the master of the jedi order instead of mace windu. What if plo koon told Qui-gon jinn that the jedi Council would consult the jedi archives and meditate on the force concerning the fate of the chosen one and his mother. Also that another jedi knight would a company the jedi back to the planet of naboo. The knight would have been a Knight for 10 years at least to be chosen to a company Qui-gon jinn and friends. If you threw Obi-Wan, Shaak Ti and Plo Koon at Sidious in a fight, I’d argue they’d win.

I enjoyed this one. I actually was wondering on this scenario myself once. I'll note that Kuat would have been near impossible for Grevious's fleet to take due to the Kuat defense fleet having the among it the largest warships in the Republic Fleet at the time: Praetor Battlecruisers and Mandator II Star Dreadnaughts. I'd also note that the flagship of the fleet in the final battle would have been an Imperator (ISD) Class Star Destroyer as the famous ISD was introduced at the hind end of the Clone Wars seeing limited use. Kit Fisto vs Grievous hmm never would have figured that but yeah Form 1 could easily counter Grevious's combat algorithms and made the fight unwinnable for him by the way Fisto is among four jedi who survived combat with Sidious for more then a few minutes so if you can survive for that long against Sidious you can beat Greivous.
Now for my interesting one what if Qui-Gon Jinn survived his duel with Maul (Also Obi-Wan survives it too just for reference) and make this a Qui-Gon who is a mix of canon and Legend Qui-Gon that way it makes training Anakin a bit easier as in the EU Qui-Gon did have a love interest a fellow Jedi who met a tragic end (You know its quite a trend that Jedi Romances tend to end in tragedy though in the case of EU Luke I blame that on the bad writing of the Legacy of the Force Novels and the Vong War which I consider non-canon it is those two events because man they basically are the reason the EU was killed by Disney) and how that would impact galactic events. Also What if Darth Bane never created the Rule of Two now that would be a VERY interesting scenario.

Doubt much would differ. No relationship change in the two. Satine will still be a passivist. Some political stuff on mandelore that could go either way as they needed to disprove satine "killing" Visla & prove death watch was behind the crime surge. So there would be a three way civil war or a republic vs. Death Watch civil war (eventually, after seeing hiw the wind blows on madelore and when a chance presents itself. They can't invade a neutral system without proof and satine would still refuse to join the republic) that would cause political problems for Satine. Most likely Bo would hide with her mando's scheming for another chance to change their people's culture to the original mando way. But most likely wouldn't side with satine & the republic. Or would side with them and then betray her by making her seem weak and needing the republics help. Going against her stance of neutrallity etc. (My thoughts on it)

I disagree. Obi Wan was very strong in the force. While not on the same level as Anakin or Luke, it was still enough to earn him a seat on the Jedi Council. Plus Obi Wan was very skilled with lightsaber combat.
He used Soresu which uses an enemy's speed against them. It blocks attacks which causes enemies to faulter or tire. This is how Obi Wan beat Savage Oppress and Anakin. I have no doubt he would best Sidious in combat.

@@Lyaagato while Obi wan wasn't on the same level of Yoda,mace and Anakin where force powers are concerned he was strong in the force and the first Jedi to fight and beat a Sith as a padawan and survive in a thousand years And he was a powerful fighter but he was also very smart and cunning so he would be a lot harder too beat than palpatine would realise and while he wouldn't beat palpatine beat alone ( the truth is that no one but Anakin had that kind of force power not even Yoda or Mace could beat palpatine alone only Anakin or maybe Luke had the power to do that) he could hold his own and inflict some very serious injuries too palpatine until the other Jedi such as Anakin arrived and onice the other Jedi arrived Palpatine would have face not just Obi wan but a pissed off Anakin who would see palpatine trying kill Obi wan and would put a end to palpatine before Yoda ,mace or plo koon could even ignite their light sabres.

@@Lyaagato the 1st time maul lost to Obi wan may have be down to mauls arrogance but the second and third time maul lost to Obi wan were down to the fact that Obi wan was a much better sword man that maul seeing as Obi wan actually killed maul the third time . As for dooku if you watch clone wars you will see that dooku ran away from most of the fights with Obi wan and Anakin because he knew that he didn't stand a chance against both Obi wan and Anakin and in revenge of the Sith dooku was actually shitting his pants in the fight against both Obi wan and Anakin as they were far better sword men than he was by that point. Sidious would undoubtedly would underestimate Obi wan s abitlities and whilst Obi wan propably couldn't full out beat palpatine in a one on one fight ( no one but Anakin had the power to do that not even Yoda) Obi wan most likely could hold his own against palpatine until Anakin showed up plus do you really think that a on the lightside Anakin would allow palpatine to live if palpatine injured Obi wan ( no Anakin would NOT!) Nothing wrong with it I had to go back and re listen to the video then to make sure I heard a part that was in their twice. The magna guards wouldve def dealt with ahsoka easily. grievous and the magna guards vs the other 2 shouldve been a quick fight
