I don't see this as a gamble. It will serve as a wake-up call for the players. If you don't do what you're training and practicing to do, men will lose their jobs. It's a game, yes, but it's also pretty serious.
Let's see who is doing their job on the field. If they don't perform to their ability, let's get some of the bench playing and getting them ready for the future. If you don't play a player who may be great, they usually transfer from Nebraska. We see it all the time. Why waste them on a bench just to leave?
I remember McCartney Bienemy running wild where plays went student body left or right and Bienemy would peel back and run for huge yards. Today we don’t hit the hole fast enough and it’s slammed shut. Colorado backs just looked for an opening and our Dline linebackers were running into each other or getting trampled and there were multiple holes every time when Mr B would peel back 63-27 Buffs. That game still causes night sweats
i dont think the team had anything to lose. i really dont think nebraska would have won any of its last 3 games with satt as OC, so why not take a chance? the offense isn't going to be radically changed, but it doesn't need to be. they just need to score 1 more TD per game and they win 2/3 the games they've lost this season.
So is Nebraska and Dillon raiola on a parallel path with the Chicago bears and Caleb Williams? Someone said about Caleb that they coached the confidence out of him. Now he's afraid to make a mistake.
I think Satt's play calling failed to put players in a position to succeed. Look at all the Fidone plays where he's catching the ball and running horizontally and trying to cut upfield. He looks horrible and clunky on those plays, but when he's catching the ball in the center of the field he looks great.
Bailing on a disastrous hire is not a gamble. It may be desperation, but to swim faster when you're circling the drain is merely recognizing you're doomed if you don't do something.
15 pts per game is easily doable considering how many drives ended within 5 yard line the last few games. Didnt we have two of those alone in UCLA game that ended with turnover on downs? Thats 14 pts right there if Dana is able to gain a few yards over 4 downs
Let them loose Saturday vs USC! Let's Go!! It's a G.A.M.E.- go for broke - let the boys go for it. Challenge them to put on a show and make their trip to LA Coliseum memorable. There will be 25,000 NU Fans. Once we take the lead, it will be like a home game in perfect Nebraska football fall weather, 66 and sunny.
Whether or not this move is a bit late is debatable. For now, let’s give Coach Rhule some credit for making the move, and let’s hope it works out well for the remainder of the season, and next season. ☠️🌽🎈

Dang, how far we’ve fallen when the Gold Standard for Nebraska is to win 6 friggin games and earn a spot in one of the 3000 bowl games… maybe we’ll get invited to play Eastern Fillmore State College of Mines (and nearly hold on to a 7-3 lead before being narrowly defeated…)
This is a joke honestly Rhule is panicking it's obvious the Oline still sucks even with a year three coach! Once Dillion leaves for greener pasture next year his uncle will be fired. Our defense will go down the tubes as well with everyone leaving, including our only bright spot on the team Coach White! Rhule wasn't and still isn't the answer, thanks Trev for over paying for mediocre coaching...... with this move nebraska still won't win any of the last three games!

Whoever hired an OC from the SEC who was in command of the worst rushing squad in the conference is guilty of gross negligence.
I cannot really follow what you're trying to describe here
@@riselikeaneagle Satterfield's offenses are bottom of the barrel rushing stats
Offense will not be drastically better but I think the game plan will be much better.
Totally on board! That's a bold CEO move on coach's part. GBR 🌽🏈☠️

I bet you'll see more tempo and better mismatch offence

Dana is best suited as an OC. The Cornhuskers will score points with him. This is a great move for you guys.
Bold move. Let's see if it works. I just think this offense has issues that go much deeper that Marcus Satterfield.

Rhule ordered Satterfield as OC from Temu

You actually think they would risk access to the program by reporting on behind the scenes negativity ? 😂
