The way Anthony looked into the camera, and paused, PRICELESS!!! ❤
Because he think this is a problem. He has been taught by living in the US that it’s a problem for blacks should promote their culture .. when this is no problem for no other ethnicity..
That’s because he’s not into unifying Blacks. He’s into capitalism for HIMSELF. He doesn’t care who joins: as long as he gets “likes “ and “subscribes”, it’s open ‘everybody’ season for him. He doesn’t comprehend that he can keep his mindset and also support space for his guest’s concept as well. Instead, he feels threatened that sharing her vision on his platform may ruin his business. Although he did have some doubts and worries about the immediate effects of sudden Integration and the friction/conflict it caused, he was always devoted to a united America.
People often refer to the quote when speaking to Belafonte close to his assassination “I fear I have led my people into a burning house” as an example of him changing his mind on segregation it they always (intentionally or not) omit the next thing he said in the quote which was “we must become the fireman and not stand by while the house burns”
Malcolm X also famously changed his mind on integration later on in life after he saw different races praying together in Mecca.
Segregation will only cause more issues and division. For all involved. It’s a dangerous road to go down. People won’t stand for the double standards of allowing one group only to play that game.
As a Hispanic business owner this is so beyond crazy to me. Why would I shop somewhere I am not even able to grown with my business? It does not make sense and it’s just plain out wrong.! Creating more division…

During segregation we had no other choice. I’m white and I get it. You need your own sacred spaces. Creating sacred spaces gives rise to other black owned creators which helps all of us. She has the right.
Thank You! I knew some white people knew what she was saying. Because it's not a race thing it's imperative to cultivate our OWN culture. Having our own stuff to pass on to the next generation is extremely important. That's the main reason why black people have respect for the other races; they teach and train their own culture. 🤷🏾♂️

Nothing good comes from division.
And dude, while people have been copying black culture forever how can you say you don’t have a culture? It’s very very present. Pop culture is black culture more often than not, can’t we celebrate that? But we don’t, we talk about how white people coopted the culture, and while that’s annoying it happens to everyone and means they covet it.
