Hi Schnell, sorry to tell you...but... You should find some other source to point out the best video's to play. The Islander Arms virtual concert was great....when you have no way to perform live and you're sitting on an album. But once the real deal is available, I don't think this video should be ever be played again in any other context than a documentary about the pandemic.
This one is good…but you want to see how good the song and group can be…go back and watch the live version from the Imaginaerium tour. They had Marko then. And Jukko…blows this one out of the water.
I hear a lot of reactors speak about singing a Disney song an/or Floor being like a Disney princess - I just don't get why so many people think Disney is the pinnacle to aim for. It's essentially like saying that the ultimate goal is to sing a song that's been crowbarred into an extended cartoon. I must stress that this isn't a criticism of this reaction - rather it's a niggle that's been brewing in my head for a while and I just finally had to vent it.
I get your point, really. But wouldn't you agree with me, viewing the popularity of Disney cartoons, that Floor would deserve to have her voice heard by that enormous amount of fans? On top of that I'm pretty sure that it would have a positive effect on Nightwish as well because that's exactly what happened in The Netherlands after Floor participated in the Dutch popularity show 'Beste Zangers'.
@@Greyhound53200 She's certainly capable, after all she can sing anything - and she seems to work incredibly hard considering the number of collaborations, concert appearances, solo work etc so my guess is she wouldn't turn it down if it was offered and a good song. She's certainly earned (through talent an work ethic) to have as large an audience as she wants. The thing that I find sad is that Disney seems to have become a reference point that's equated (by some) with difficulty, great prestige and (by extension) that it's somehow an enormous privilege to work for Disney (I know you didn't say that and it's not what you mean). I'm sure you get it, but for those who might not, I get the same kind of irritation when I hear reactors that are incredibly impressed by the speed, strength & athleticism of rugby players saying "that player could play in the NFL" as though that must be what they would surely prefer. It probably doesn't help that, I find songs in cartoons quite jarring (there are exceptions - bare necessities (Jungle Book) is the only one that springs to mind). As for Nightwish popularity, I think that NIghtwish has reached a much wider audience through youtube and (associatedword of mouth) and that snowball has already started rolling. They will endure in fame and popularity long after the heavily marketed and rubbish acts have been forgotten.
