I'm few years late but born to die video is about an abusive relationship with the guy taking over her, making her smoke drugs, forcing sex etc yet giving her other things that make her feel like a queen (I'd assume social title and materialistic things from where this was shot). However, she's waking up that this relationship makes her feel lonely and not giving her what she really needs. So at the end of the video, he killed her after she tried to "escape", and everything he pretended to provide to her burned as they meant nothing.
And yes, you should react to other records. A classic is Video Games, she always sings it in her concerts, it's the song that made her popular and her first video as Lana del Rey. React to the National Anthem video too, it's really hot.

From what I know about Born To Die, is that the imagery towards the end of the music video is supposed to represent a toxic relationship where one person comes out really hurt and destroyed whereas the other person leaves the wreck perfectly fine. The music video is basically not dealing with your issues, being depressed “the road is long we carry on” “I was so confused as a little child” and okay with it and then DYING

I listened to her in 2008 and went to her concerts which were not crowded at all! So many people slept on her and now 15 years later are now figuring out who she is 😢 did get to meet her and she took a joint off me while it was lit and smoked it on stage while she performed 😊😊

I'm few years late but born to die video is about an abusive relationship with the guy taking over her, making her smoke drugs, forcing sex etc yet giving her other things that make her feel like a queen (I'd assume social title and materialistic things from where this was shot). However, she's waking up that this relationship makes her feel lonely and not giving her what she really needs. So at the end of the video, he killed her after she tried to "escape", and everything he pretended to provide to her burned as they meant nothing.

There are many theories on this part of the video but Lana told a UK newspaper, The Sun: "I consider the record a homage to true love lost and a tribute to living life on the wild side. The second music video (Born to die) has a meaning of That two lovers are really troubled and have suicide tendencies in common... and they're Very lustful and submissive ....so when the guy forced her to kiss him...they were busy driving at high speed and he let the wheel go.. when the camera zooms out it was the outcome (an accident) ... they were expecting to die together .... but .... the guy wasn't so lucky dying with her.... when she entered a door with light means that she's entering heaven.... that's why the guy wasn't with her ... and was still on earth holding her dead body
