The 1st guy has actually a lot of great songs and also he represented his country Belgium at Eurovision in 2015 with an amazing performance and smashing a Top5
I love watching these amazing people expressing themselves and I love watching you enjoying it and and explaining the finer points , and love the fact that you motive people to give it a try , there is nothing sadder than wasted potential but there is no greater reward than manifesting it and sharing it for no other reason than you want to. We are here for a higher calling I think and it is truly precious to see people find what they love and to share it with others , I do not see any wasted potential with you Rebecca , it is a joy and a gift to watch you reaching your potential and loving it , sharing it and inspiring others to reach theirs , thank you Rebecca.
8:23 - yes YES!!! When I was in a band our singer was great with classical tutoring but she was mortally afraid of criticism. I always told her that everyone may have an opinion but it's down to her to assign value to those opinions, because not everyone knows what they're talking about or has her/our best interests at heart. If it's a dig in a comment from some randomite...who cares? Yeah, it sucks that you can't get applause from everyone - and no-one never will for many reasons - but it doesn't always matter as long as you feel that you did the best you could do. But if a comment is constructive criticism from someone encouraging with more experience than you then assign value to that feedback based on the level of that experience and heed accordingly. This is so, SO IMPORTANT, especially when someone's not confident and feeling very vulnerable by putting themselves out there for everyone to judge. I'm not a great bass player and I know that I'll never be a great bass player so I didn't particularly care when people criticised my playing, not that many people did because most people don't notice bass players without stand-out talent. I was just grateful and happy to play with great friends who are more talented than I was and we got to record four releases and support bands that I'd never otherwise of shared a stage with in venues that I'd never have seen from that perspective. I'm still flattered now when people upload our songs to RUclips (but not so much when it's the full album 'cos we're still trying to shift those, ha). I'm very pleased that I found your channel RVA and please, keep up the good work!
The first person in that room had such amazing acoustics. It makes so much difference to me. This was just a wonderful react vid. When I use to be in front of the audience on stage I was so shy. A few beers in helped. But it is the fear that is the best feeling because when you do it and then get a huge audience standing and screaming yeah and clapping makes all the fear worth it.
I know. Right? We're supposed to respond to her very knowledgeable and precise critiques and her lovely kindness and generosity of spirit, which are all quite real, but then ... she's so beautiful that we sort of forget for a moment all the rest of it and just gaze at her in blissed-out speechlessness. I do get tired of being undone in this way ... but I keep coming back. Don't I, though? Yeah. Of course, I do. Sigh.
Thank you for this brilliantly positive video! I know all about that insecurity, it has stopped me from taking my singing any farther than two steps away from the shower for most of my life. Only now, as I approach my 40th birthday, am I taking it out into the world, and with the emotional feedback I'm getting from it I wish I would have stepped out of my comfort zone, or should I say extended my comfort zone, 25 years ago. But let's all radiate that positive reenforcement, so that we can make sure as many of these hidden talents get uncovered as possible!

What a lovely channel! I love it. I love music as much as the next guy, but what draws me in is your pure joy and enjoyment in listening. Love it. Thanks for sharing yourself.
What makes you the best vocal coach on RUclips is not only your awesome personality but it’s your use of vocabulary! We all know what you mean like when you said “madness” perfect word!
Rebecca, your absolutely spot on! I think that’s a big reason my daughter stopped singing in London after uni. There were so many good singers coming out after their courses and she was the type that didn’t like criticism or judgement. Big shame!! Thanks Rebecca, love your channel.
I know I'm a little late, but still want to congratulate you officially achieving ... OVER 100 MILLION VIEWS. Next stop ... one million subs! I love you Bex.
Thank you so much for seeing or hearing the talent & potential. Many tear them to shreds but you encourage and pull out the good qualities. You must be an amazing coach
Wow all of them were great but I had to keep replaying the last guy singing chasing pavements. Wow... just wow the tone in his voice and that slide he did...
Spontaneity brings the best out of singers most of the times. That's why I like to follow you on Instagram, cause you sing freely =) keep it up, always a fan!
Just think of all the unknowns out there that are getting noticed through this medium. Imagine all those lost in my generation when we had to go to a studio or church or HS chorus and discovered by chance...LA was the hot seat for musicians......I was a touring lead singer/ lead guitarist ...I was a high tenor and loved singing to an audience especially stadiums...nothing like that sound...my father hated me doing this. He always said, “you’ll never get a job doing this!” And he was wrong... I love ur channel and so glad I found it...lots of gr8 singers...I wish I could have been seen as a kid...I was a soprano until 10th grade...(Puberty)! Lol 😂
The 4th boy who was singing with the little boy is called Justin vasquez. He has his own youtube channel where he posts his own written songs and covers!
Hello Rebecca:) it’s been a while but I’m so happy to see a new video! Btw your the most beautiful woman ive ever seen and a personality to boot!! God I love you!! :))
Good point that about someone will always be judging or critizicing you and how one should ignore it. That was my biggest challenge to overcome, took my first 30 something years to sing publicly (even though the first one was a karaoke in a big family reunion). That was the point when I kinda grew up and realized that it doesn't matter if I screw up a bit or if someone doesn't like it (I knew my pitch was fine besides those probable screw ups). Three and a half years ago I asked my friend if I could go and try lead singing for them and see if it works out. About two months later we had our first gig. I was afraid that I'd get really anxious before the gig, but it never came, I just went up and enjoyed it because I had decided to do so (and I knew I/we can do it, cause we had practiced enough). Later I have found that I STILL get the butterflies, but instead of my stomach they're in my throat (sort of, my throat dries like **ll), so there's some work to do still. To sum up this (overly) long comment, if I, a terribly shy person, was able to overcome my "stage fright", most other can do it. Just convince yourself, that if YOU are enjoying it, then nothing else matters 💪
that first one is what happens when a great singer walks into a room with great acoustics. they have to "test" the space, they can't bloody help themselves, lol.
You're so right, one nasty comment was all it took me to stop singing completely for almost a decade... And before that I was really sure in my voice, I loved singing, I did it all the time, I knew I was good. After that I just started doubting every single note I sang, it was so stressful that eventually, I gave up completely. I'm starting again now, but it will take me some time to build up to the place I was at before I stopped. Hopefully I'll get there :) Guess what I was trying to say is don't listen to haters, the only opinion that matters is yours. And if everyone else enjoys your singing, and only one person has something bad to say about it, it's most likely that that one person is just jealous.
The resonance that boy belted out Chandelier with... ridiculous
That’s Loic Nottet!
That’s our boi Loïc, he has ALBUMS
@@lermaline8233 Only one but it's amazing! Selfocracy
Loic!!!
hes famous now.
I love how everyone in the comments keeps telling Rebecca about Loïc Nottet, when she literally says she already knows about him.
He’s got a new album. Sony still hasn’t brought him to the US which is a huge mistake. The more people talk about him, the better!

Hahaha
Well, you're not the only one. Hahaha I feel like my voice actually sounds good in the bathroom. 😅
Haha! and then the music suddenly stops and all the glass breaks...at least in my house ;)
Yeeessss.
All acoustics. Same reason the first guy has great resonance because of the acoustics in the empty room.
"That voice is rich and yummy" God I love this woman😂
The first guy always gives me chills
Those brothers was the most wholesome human thing I've ever seen. Pure innocence and 0 ego. Just love. All love
I wish everybody in my life had your personality.
That's so lovley
I know Rebecca is Fabulous 😍
