I love this so much. I tried something similar but so much more complicated! I was making tiny wefts and actually sewing them on the headcap. Now I want to make a wig! I've got the yarn (so much yarn!) all I need is the glue and pantyhose!
Im sure you can do it! :D it takes patience and a lot of trying :) I recommend watching the doll wig maker Mozekyto. She does excellent tutorials :D

What glue did you use to attach those hairs?

Grace Yohe Thank you! I just use cheap acrylic yarn and hobby glue, like white glue to glue on the wefts, and decoupage glue to make the wefts :)

Hello! I saw all your process, I didn't understand what kind of wool did you used, sorry I 'm Italian, I did it once with plastic fibers, I was a nightmare! Can I ask you here you find the Modolls dolls? I have find their blog but nothing more, thank you. You are great!
saibirina Thank you :) well I use cheap acrylic yarn. It is not natural fibers but can still use a flatiron on it :) i have never used real hair, but i will try in the future. As for Modoll heads, they are sold on Etsy by the seller Natrume. If you have any other questions feel free to ask :)

I'm a new subscribed, you are so good on teaching and explaining things! I am an artist, a tattoo artist but I do also paintings drawings, sculptures, face ups and body ups ( it's the right term? I'm Italian) here in Italy we are surrounded by beautiful art Michelangelo inspired me when I was 9 (it's a gift, I don't ment to be a person who thinks that is the best, I love all forms of art and I'm compulsive artist, I like all the arts and the way to do them. I have only a good coordination between hand and eyes and brain is just that, but I love to learn so much) sorry I wrote down the Bible! End of the story :you are a good heart (I am sure) and deeply talented so I admire you. Please if you want you can answer me about the tool. I am not a stalker! XD
Aww thank you so much! It makes me very happy to hear I can help others and share what I do. I use a dog/cat brush to brush out the yarn until its fine, and then i use the straight iron :) Wow i wish i could draw good enough to be a tattoo artist! I would love to go to Italy and see all the lovely art, buildings and nature :) We dont have that much here in Sweden. You take care, keep making art and love what you do! Hello! This video is really helpful to me. Thank you for you did. And let me ask you something : can i use "mod podge"glue? In korea, that is only one "decoupage glue" that i can buy.. please helpㅠ.ㅠ

Good ideas. Suggestion, try to keep what you're doing in view of the camera more. I think I'd use several layers if using a panty hose.
