      @@lawrichai how do you put the wig on after this? Does it loosely sit on the head?

    hi is that a tool fabric lace u use as a wig cap?thank u😊👍

    • @lawrichai
      @lawrichai  3 года назад +1

      This wig cap is made of "Swiss Lace", the same material that is used for human wigs. :)

    This is so helpful thank you!. Do you ever have to glue the lace onto the doll? If so what glue is recommended?

    • @lawrichai
      @lawrichai  3 года назад +1

      I cap itself is only sewed.
      Though if you're asking about how is stays on the head once the wig is finished, I use thin double-sided tape to help it stay in place.

      @@lawrichai oh okay thanks for the tip. Yes I was talking about how it will stay on. Mainly the lace on the front hairline. 🤎

      Yep, thin double-sided tape :D

      @@lawrichai what brand would you recommend? that won't mess with the sealant or face up

    • @lawrichai
      @lawrichai  3 года назад

      Unfortunately I do not have the wrapping of my rolls anymore so I cannot answer this question at the moment, I just know that the tape is so thin that it never messed up the face up nor the wig. >< I'm sorry.

    Do you know if alpaca hair or other animal fibers could work for a lace front wig?

    • @lawrichai
      @lawrichai  2 года назад

      Yes, you can ventilate natural fibers, but they have "a way". You need to make sure the root of the fiber is end knotted at all time. If you mix root and tips, the wig will tend to felt. :)

    This is great to watch and all, however a verbal explication would be of better help in a situation with small pieces and finicky objects.

    Curious, do you pull the string out/ snip them after they keep the wigcap in place?

    • @lawrichai
      @lawrichai  3 года назад +2

      If you are referring to the black string that goes under the chin, yes I remove it once the whole wig is done ventilated.
      If you are referring to the hair I'm using to sew the shape of the wig cap, I leave them in place and I will ventilate over them.

      @@lawrichai thank you! It was the second one. I saw all the strings and wasn't sure. Ventilating over them seems to be easiest but I know others remove them. This helps very much! Thank you!
