Ok, so... I'm gonna be honest here, I thought back and forth wether to upload this or not, I had planned this video for quite a while and most of the footage is from beginning of the year, it's dark, it's not the best quality, and while recording the script I actually thought of redoing the whole thing. But at this point there's already so much work put into it and other youtubers started doing the same that I did (just better, which wasn't helpful to my decisionmaking either). And I just know that if I'd have to redo the whole video, it would probably take me another 6 months or so, SO here we are. There's probably a lot of info that's not really interesting and useful, but I tried to go over the stuff I have been asked over time and it's a lot, so bear with me please. I hope some of you can still get some interesting information from this video and maybe I'll redo the whole thing in the end after all, we will see. So... thanks for your patience with me.
I must say This video is way more informative then most wig making tutorials I've seen so far! Especially the beginning were you talk about the different fibers and what they would be used for best! Thank you very much! I certainly will take all your advise for when I'll make wigs next time ^^
@@LuccaAce I also linked another video in the info card that has a lot of technical info about the fibres, where I can't say a lot about, so I stuck with what I knew =) I'm glad it was helpful!
I found the use of a silicone tool a great help, I've ended up throwing away soooo many ruined brushes after making wigs! My only grip is the music, so very distracting and it ended up giving me a headache. So, Ive had to watch your video in short bits. However, many thanks for the demo as it was super useful. ❤️👍🇬🇧😁
I'm glad it was helpful and I'm very sorry for the headache =') I usually try to go for calm or upbeat music that I personally don't find too distracting and not too loud, so it can be a bit of background noise, but I know that especially on musical terms tastes vary a lot =') Thanks for the feedback!
@@Alayses sure will do. I'm having a lot of trouble with her right now as I accidentally bought a recast doll as her base and I am waiting for my order of the official doll to ship. The official head is also out of stock and I don't know when they will come back so I'm stuck feeling guilty with this awful knock off
This was so useful for me!!! Thank you so much 💘! I used weft hair pre-sewn to practice using the glue. Once dried, I cut even line between the glue to remove the sewn tracks. Worked out good for me 🐱.
You have opened my eyes to a world of fibers that I didn't even know existed! I'm going to try out that soy wool stuff. I'd love a more in depth look at how best to handle different types of fibers.
THE CAT IS CALLED BEE (Biene = Bee in German) I REPEAT THE CAT IS CALLED BEE 😍 Btw. I really enjoy your videos so far, your dolls are absolutely gorgeous and I think your voice/the way you speak is are adorable and sweet!
When I read your comment, it made me smile. 😄 my cats are Biene and Blume, bee and flower 😁 Thanks so much for your kind words! They really mean a lot to me
Hey, soy firbre = Soja Faser? How looks the finished wig with this material? How long are the fibers in it? I'm searching for material for my first wig that isn't expensive as hell 😂 I follow u on Instagram now❤️
Yes, it's Soja Faser =) if you want you can write me on Insta, i can show you a picture of the wig I was making in this video (the light blue fibre is soy but i wasn't able to finish the wig in time for the video) Are you German? Dann kannst du mich auf deutsch anschreiben =)

I've come back to this video a couple of times while I'm making my own wigs, so thank you for taking the time to share this!
Thank you so much for saying this, you have no idea how happy it makes me T///T
I remeber making my first wig and rebooting with yarn! I wish I had gone thinner with wefts or rooting. You're right. It looks like a helmet 😅
Haha xD I still wish I would've included pictures of my first wigs in the video, I assure you, the helmet situation was not the biggest problem 😅

This is exactly what I needed!! I'm going to have to watch this 75 more times once I gather the strength to remake my dolls wig
I'm glad it's helpful =) and definitely do so! Remaking wigs can be such a great way to get the dolls closer to one's imagination =D
