    Okay, I got it. 2 defined DNA strands, are amplified from 2 indeterminate DNA strand. Thank You.

    How many DNA double helix will result from one DNA double helix after 5 cycles of PCR ?

      if you mean double helix with two defined strands the formula is 2^n-2n

    I fail to comprehend , how a single Defined DNA strand ended up giving rise to 4 defined DNA strands, at the end of the 3rd cycle?Shouldn't they be 2?

      I think they gave rise to two, indeed! But then he added up the previously obtained 2 or smt
