    By the way, the idea that Xi could launch a contested invasion by sea is laughable. Amphibious operations are some of the most complicated and risky actions that a military can undertake. China does not have the equipment required. They have also never demonstrated the capability to perform such an operation. Just read about the operations in WWII in the Pacific. By the time the US got going there they had massive capabilities, which had been developed over many years. As the war progressed just look at the massive amounts of equipment the US had. Look at how long the invasion of Normandy took to plan and train for. No, the PLA is not ready for or capable of such an operation.
    As for the other military equipment the PLA has, a good guide is the Soviet/Russian equipment. Most PLA equipment is a copy, and a poor one of Soviet/Russian designs. How is that going for the Russians? Nuff said.

    I do not question that there is corruption. It is endemic. However, I question whether liquid-fueled ballistic missiles contain water. Why? Liquid fuel is extremely caustic. They do not have the liquid-fueled ballistic missiles fueled until they are ready to be used. This is the primary reason the US and Russia use solid fuel missiles. They are immediately ready to be launched.

      I seen a video with a rocket (for satellite launch) that just crumbled. Apperantly unless the tanks are filled the rockets hull cannot stay up straight. Is it possible that this is something similar? Fill the tanks with water for storage and replace the water with actual fuel only in preparation for a launch.

      I think it was a great move by the CIA. They are bound by freedom of information legislation anyway. This brings negative global attention on the PLA, and will hopefully cause Emperor Xi to be more paranoid. He does not want to understand the fatal flaw of communism, that it does not reflect human nature, including corruption. Eventually, a lot of PLA soldiers will hear about it, and this can destroy morale. Even after fixing the silos, there are still huge problems across the PLA, and this is the point the CIA is making.

  • @user-cx8eg6lc8k

    David in many way's you should understand this better than most because you are Chinese and in the same way you failed to do your homework when it came to the use of terminology with regards to ICBM's etc., the same has been true in China for decades right across EVERYTHING they make. China has NO quality control capacity what so ever. There isn't anything the Chinese do that they can replicate without every third or fourth one falling apart. How do I know, I spent 10 years in your country as a teacher and met many an expat before they all finally left and found out first had just how bad quality control is in your country. Even the Chinese who move abroad and leave a brother or sister in China in charge of the manufacturing process complains about the lack of quality. After 10 years in China I too left because I know how SHe thinks and expect the war shortly and it was better to leave a year early than try and leave a day to late. The End.

  • @user-cx8eg6lc8k
    @user-cx8eg6lc8k 8 месяцев назад +1

    David, next time use You Tube to find the proper names, they're not called lids either. As for SHe, I believe China will invade Taiwan either at The End of this month or no later than Feb. 18, 2024 if I understand the way he thinks. SHe likens himself to the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, who is also the Emperor who commenced the Great Wall of China. SHe likens himself to Shi and believes his renewal of the Great Chinese nation will be emblematic of the first Emperor of China.
    However, given the nature of Chinese quality control or the lack there of, China, its military and its dreams of grandeur will come crashing down upon the Chinese people the same way Hitler brought an End to the Great nation of Germany prior to W. W. II. The End.
