4-5 c4 on a drone is the best tank hunter build
U do it solo?
@@leandrecook179no. But everyone who sees a drone will put c4 anti infantry mines on them.
@@leandrecook179es you can do it solo, switch fast to your other gadget (c4) and you just activate it. Now the tricky thing is that the drone becomes very heavy and it gets difficult to control the drone (it becomes very slow). But if you manage to get it behind a tank congrats you win. P. S I always do it solo and I have 50% success most o the time.
Mans is not lying
That's my anti sniper tactic
This game's destructible environment elements feel like something from yesteryear, it's a touch of the old Red Faction games, and I love the fact that you can just opt to go through cover to get those kills. The fact that you can do this to a panicked tanker is just icing.
>Red Faction
Jesus Christ, I haven't thought about that series of games on DECADES
@@BrumBrumBryn BBR gives you demo charges and a hammer, it's a spiritual successor, after an odd fashion if you're inclined to look at it that way. I've fond memories of RF, and I'm gonna make them bad memories for the other team.
Ive only been playing for a week (roughly) and am already Lvl 83. This game is exactly what we needed all these years. A healthy addiction that doesnt squeeze your last penny out of you for a cosmetic skin that costs half the games original prize. Just a fun game.
Take a shower
@@jackriddell3311 Only if you join me ;3
Damn playing sporadically for weeks and only 66
Couldn’t agree more mate. Glad to hear you’re having a good time with the game.
A week in terms of hours or a week in terms of how many days you've had it. If so then you're twice my level in nearly half the time, what do you play as?
"The rangefinder is purely here to get the range on vehicles so you can hit them with your RPG" You sir, are a GOD DAME GENIUS! I feel its worth mentioning you get 3 TANDOM rounds vs 6 HEAT rounds and the Tandom rounds only go out to a max of 200ms while the Heat rounds go out to 500ms.
Other then that, seems like a grate loadout to me.
Those distances are only references to how far the scopes allow u to reliably aim the rocket which can actually go far beyond 500 and 200m for heat and tandem respectively
Ive sniped tanks 300m away with tandem, takes a bit of a gamble and a standing still target but damn it feels good
Engineer in frontline is stupid fun/very strong. Blowing the walls off a building where 15 enemies are hunkered down and then watching them panic never gets old.
It’s almost like watching an ant’s nest go crazy. Super satisfying.
That 8500xp from that single rocket was absolutely disgusting. This game has such high moments when you're in the flow and pop off. Love to see the content, thanks for the upload!
A beautiful moment that I was glad i recorded tbh
Scar-H should be the top DMR unlock considering it fulfills most of that role in real life
As someone who has around 500 plus vehicles destroyed in game. I whole heartedly agree that hunting tanks and other vehicles are fun!!!
I personally have been running a similar build. The longer range optic with a red dot top sight is definitely the way to go as it let's you be both a budget sniper at range and makes zeroing in with the rpg easier and more accurate, just be sure to set your zoom into to the top sight prior to moments when you think it'll be necessary.
The big changes I run are that, due to personal preference, I sometimes run the M14-EBR over the SCAR since the extra range is nice as I play it less agressively and more defensively and with extended mags it's got only 2 fewer rounds than the scar. With setting it to full auto for when necessary. I use the SCAR instead when I expect more close range encounters. The longer range optic+range fine let's me pay more of a counter-sniper role with 4-500m RPG shots to blow them out of thier cover.
I run the Glock 18 as my pistol since it's really good up close as an emergency delete button.
Since the build relies a bit more on using the pistol, I go for the belt that trades 1 C4 for more pistol mags. Since I'm running an RPG I don't really need the 6th C4.
The synergy with engi and 7.62 guns (SCAR/FAL, DMRs) plus RPG is wild. Medium range blasting, target takes cover, RPG! its hilarious. My engi DMR build is dedicated anti sniper. At ranges less than 500m and some good aim you can win sniper fights against things that aren't the M200, and when you get good with the scoped RPG there ability to take cover is severely diminished. My preferred setup is M14, Acog+top dot and Vert grip.
Hello, fellow MK14 engineer user.
@@EnigmacTheFirst may we avoid Vectors and smite many snipers brother!
This video is exactly how I've been playing the game since I bought it, and it is so much god damn fun.
Honestly I think players should have hp like vehicles, you can restore a percentage of lost hp on your own, like half of it, but some is permanently lost until a medic heals you. And give engineer the ability to restore armor once per resupply/life, it'd add more indepth to the class aside from being occasional rocketman with an accidental penchant for teamkilling via building destruction
That's how player HP does work, no?
Armor can't be repaired and anything beyond a bleed can't be fixed without a medic.
Yeah, but I'm meaning more like, having a slight self heal buffer on top of that to make playing medic less of a necessity for people who may want a possibility at one more shot before dying or something along those lines.
As I said, how the vehicles health is done. Say a rocket hits a humvee and does '40' damage, half of that is permanent, the other half can be repaired by engineer's repair tool gadget. Instead of having to go all the way back to safezone(literal safezone, not just a place without enemies) to repair that permanent damage, that's what only medics can heal.
You gotta try using the av mines as ghetto c4. The blast radius is huge, will blow the face off a building
Clan C78 represent! Actually, I did learn some good ideas. Never thought about using rifle rangefinder for RPG use. Nice.
more people need to play engineer, rpgs are so versatile for most maps. and its actually good xp taking out vehicles
can engineer heal himself? If no it's better not to pick
@@voorachter2733 Stop bleeding, yes. Heal, no. But on maps with a lot of destructible buildings, Engies can make a heck of a difference in blowing up cover for the enemy - or vehicles, for that matter. The key is that you can't do a head-on fight for too long - you have to flank them, be alert, and use your mobility to your advantage. But that's me.
I see a lot engineers when I play. Getting shot at then immediately RPGed into oblivion.
Your mobility argument at the end is exactly why I avoid running the Scar or another slow rifle, I take an SMG so I can sprint faster after vehicles to finish them with the RPG, or running after them with C4
You may have a small disadvantage against players (especially at medium range), but that isn't what we're going for with this build is it
I'd rather have that plus the extra armor to be much more capable at taking out vehicles
Honestly, in maps like Isle, I run with AT mine. There are some bushes on the road that allow you to hide those nasty bastards really well. Between points A and B, for example, theres a sort of outpost I usually drop a crate there and just keep mining the road. I get 30k exp just from those kills, easily.
My last tip would be to use Quadbikes. Those get you in and out of situations very very fast. Plus you can C4 them and kamikase into an MBT very easily.
I must say, the scoped RPG's really confuse me, I don't understand them at all 😅
Perfect build for my Close-Quarters Assault Weapon-RPG. LET LOOSE OUR INNER DEIDARA BOYZ!!!!
if you have 2 friends, get a civilian chopper. equip with double tandem and go tankhunting. most fun i have in years
Seen a few clips of this in action, absolutely devastating.
I like using the scar with the acog scope and a red dot canted sight. I also use a suppressor as well, if I'm deep in enemy territory and don't want to give off my location trying to get to a tank.
As someone who loves the satisfaction you get when you introduce someone to the business end of the RPG, I am definitely taking note of this video's setup. I'm currently running the default anti-infantry RPG + c4 + frags + mp7 since I'm still starting out (17 hours in) and my aim is absolute crap (so its spray and pray at the moment, plus not a lot of space for the mouse), and it's been fun charging in by the flanks and blowing stuff up. That said, my loadout has been largely influenced by the servers I play at (Japan), which are heavily infantry-focused and rarely run games with the full vehicle complement, plus for all the fun that c4 can bring, it's very situational at times.
Also, do you have a guide on RPGs or building demolition handy? Looking forward to the next vid!
the mp7 > vector > p90> evo pipeline
@@nicholasgrossman3194 i found out that good way to win those smgs in fights is to shoot them with rpg.
@@alexihemmoranta297 that is true yes but the time required to aim down sight is immense. 4 bullets have left vectors barrel in time it takes to aim RPG ads.
@@nicholasgrossman3194 not to mention that you can fire the SMG from a prone position, while the RPGs require a crouch minimum. The rockets require more deliberate use imo.
@@jy.creator very true. They require a pause in the battle honestly, rhe tragectory of rpg takes a second to master as well. i love getting kills with it though, it is so satisfying. like sniping!
I wish there was a tandem RPG without the scope. i personally love running the basic HE and Frag RPGs without the scope because its quicker to adjust the zeroing on them and just send it.
Same, especially since you can't use the scope with nvg
If you're using the SCAR-H remember to range your rifle for 50 meters. It'll really help with that kill count.
Why would this help? Not trying to be confrontational I’m genuinely curious!
@@R41D3RNAT10N ranging it won’t make it less accurate during CQC but will make it more accurate at 50+ meters. Which can really help, at least for me, hit headshots more consistently.
@@Woogsieyou can set the range on assult rifles? what
@@kaijiuiloop5872yep
@@kaijiuiloop5872 yessir
Aim for weak spot it deal double damage to vehicle. Tank and BTR engine block in the back, humvee is in the front(if you use Heat). You can 2 shot tank with tandem one in the engine block deal 87 and another to deal a killing blow.
Thanks for the suggestions!
Nothing beats the SCAR-H with a slip+RDS, rangefinder, and PG07 HEAT. Range a target with the SCAR, whip out the the RPG, and lob rockets their way like a mini artillery truck. Snagged an 1100m kill on a sniper last night and god, nothing compares.
Also great for pushing enemy armor into cover even if you can't get the kill from that distance
This build is what I call: the Menace
I preferred when dealing with Helicopters to used Machine gun sense they have alot of ammo that they can put a consistent damage to copter before having to reload. I often kill pillots bringing down their copter when I used rocket I would only have one chance to destroy it and often I missed.
Love the content CAM!
Counter sniping with RPGs is honestly one of the funniest things I've done in the game. It's fabulous.
the MK14EBR with a red dot is a good alternative to the scar, since it has almost the same dmg, it's like 2 less but it has better range/dmg drop off making it pretty easy to counter snipe as well, and it has a bit better recoil/handling when used at full auto
MK14EBR - slightly less dmg on target but more dmg to light vehicles, slightly better recoil, better velocity and range
Scar-H - slightly more dmg on target but less dmg to light vehicles, slightly worse recoil, worse velocity and range
the MK14EBR is the only DMR thats kinda useful, but thats as a long range AR and not as a DMR xD
I managed a 500M Pro Heat Snipe on a Humvee gunner, very satisfying
There is no greater blissfully evil feeling I’ve experienced than spotting two enemy players directly below me both unaware while I stand on a bus next to them, then taking out my rpg for a 2-in-1 bargain.
Actually there is, which is flanking at wakistan bridge and getting to shoot at the enemy that is trying to push on bridge. My record is getting 15 kills with one rpg shot, thats what i call a bargain.
Whatever would the streamers and clout chasers do without medic+vector?
Medic+p90 apparently lmao
is there a noticeable difference between top mounted and canted sights??
Do not forget antivehicle mines. They made me atleast half ox xp i got. Although they seem to be more nerfed recently I just pile on 4 at one place. Nothing survives that.
Does Antivehicle mine disappear like the Anti personal mine?
Against personal, thats why claymore is the superior choice.
Anti personnel mines no longer disappear on death. Latest patch
Anti-armor role? Might finally be tempting me to try this instead of PlanetSide
So uh Cami, you're a SuperGT fan, too?
I don't like scar as enginneer. I think Vector or Groza is the way to go.
conflicted if to buy this. i normally can't stand fps games cuz i suck lol but it looks like fun
Well after playing medic class for too long, i found enginer class was very fun to play
you could switch out the c4 for av mines to demolish buildings just place them inside and shoot
If you hit the rear of a tank, you do 87 damage. So you can two shot a tank
As a tanker I'm already countering this with distance. Just spam HE all day and RTB. Drones get killed really quick since I'm always at a quiet spot. Good luck trying C4 and RPG, you won't get me since I'm always near protection zone. Imagine driving a tank into objective, quick way to die. This game has way too many things to kill armor quick. No point driving forward.
listen to those infantry guys that scream u nub for not going melee to the objective to get destroyed. (hit them with my sword) From up close visibility in vehicle is useless. Sabot laser beam can snipe vehicles countersnipe, helos like 56 dmg vs 20 of HE. Bombarding from afar, going RTB, pretty good kd at 30:0 or 30:1. Going close has no benefit, sometimes turn off engine.
I read the title as thug hunter.
Ive just been running straight into tanks from flanks, killing them 80% of the time.
I thought big backpack gives you 2 tandems and heavy gives you 3?
I prefer the Groza, it has similar stopping power, also excellent at medium range, but it allows me to be much faster without sacrificing armor.
Very fair pick mate.
I don't understand how you can stay for so long in a single spot. I'd been sniped back to spawn 60 times by then.
Would you please expand on snoke grenade use? I know that 1. Smoke on top of / just in front of an opponent blocks their sight to you and when placed midway between you and an opponent means theycant easily hit you..
But in either case, you can't see them either. I figured smoke was only to defend against snipers.
Typically you pop smoke to conceal movement or for pushing towards enemy positions. You want to throw it into enemy positions or as close as possible, so friendly troops have visibility as they advance. As you said, if a sniper has your team pinned down, pop smoke to conceal your movements into flanking positions or just to evade into safer cover.
Picture a street : on one end, you and your team, on the other, the bad guys, holding down the street in such a way that you can't progress, causing a stalemate. By tossing a smoke to obscure their vision into the street, your team can move in closer and get into a range where they can effectively engage. Or better yet, if the enemies are on the top floor of a building, the smoke cover could allow your team to storm that building and flush out the baddies. It's also useful against a push for example : you're likely to see the enemy coming out of the smoke before he sees you. And it's also good if you need to run away but your escape route is in the line of fire. (Yeah I like smoke grenades)
Tanks are pretty weak so a tank busting build isn’t necessary
that weakness forces distance for proper tank user. Max zoom (6x is not enough, RL is at least 8x) and snipe. Sabot flies straight, ('realistic' lol) so an immobile sniper can be countersniped. And helos going straight can be 2-shot as well.
im pretty much sure hit someone across 2 building at lonovo with heat no scope xD
The DMRs are almost entirely uselesa. No reason to have a slow weapon, umless you want to be consitantly killed by a vector running around
Can’t heal, so have to play medic
what about the m4a1 it would also work
I thought the RPG was a sniper rifle
engineer is the only class i think with a empty vest and you sprint soooo fast
also if you wanna be a demo man Ive learned put3 AT mines in a buildind itll blow it down been doing that to snipers
I don't know why but I struggle using the RPG scope, I can hit things easily and fairly far away with the iron sights, using the scope is just impossible to me.
You need to look at the instructions on the scope to see what line to look at. The line that say 50 is the base scope range that you should look at first, and even then I notice some rockets fly differently with different drop-offs.
@@Underworlddream I did , just not very good at using it.
@snakeofminthumbugs330 Try practicing on building and windows to get a hang of it, if you can't hit a helicopter, then don't feel too bad. Despite being good at the rocket , I only mange to hit a copter twice in the air. I actual prefer to shoot them with machine gun sense I often kill the pilots and bring it all down.
@@Underworlddream I've hit helis about 7 times with an iron sight HEAT RPG, 8 if you include the time I hit a friendly one thinking it was an enemy.
Iron sights seem to work for me, obviously they aren't as effective as range.
@snakeofminthumbugs330 I have heard Iron sight fly straighter and longer range with a farther drop off, to make up for their lack of scope.
Game is great but the inability to self heal makes it so medic is the only playable class.
man found my loadout
i dont quite grasp the concept or meaning of ranging? what does it do exactly?
not sure what he really meant since u cant alt +/- mouse wheel rocket launcher like rifles sights.
The line represents distance with the scoped rockets.

Hate watching this as a vehicle enjoyer
vehicle enjoyer should keep outside effective range. I usually get 30:1 per game. Not much but at least I dont feed medics warping around with SMGs. BTR has too much spread and slow projectile so it is pretty bad.
