Omen has been thru so many versions. I backed it on KS in 2011 for a deluxe version with metal coins and sleeves and some other goodies. Unfortunately it never saw much play. Slowly I've realized that if I'm spending the time to play a tcg style game, I'd rather just play Magic. John Clowdus has another smaller game called "hemloch" that I've really enjoyed. It has also been thru several versions. The one to play is "midnight edition". The newest one is a complete change.
I bought this game on sale for $6, but I watched this video first before I made the purchase. This video really helped me decide that this would be a great game for my collection, thanks as always Zee for a fantastic overview of how to play and final review.
Discovering it in 2023 and enjoying it. I now prefer just 2p games. My favs are Omen, high heavens, 7 wonders duel, santorini. Hmmm all mythological themed I just noticed haha

Add all the expansions and War of supremacy still has more content, better production, and costs less then the base game of Omen, granted the mechanics are different but still.
