WDW47: EVERY Disney World ride in ONE DAY!

- On June 16th 2013 two men set out on an impossible mission: To ride EVERY ride on Walt Disney World property in ONE single normal operating day.
That's 47 rides spread over four parks and 16 scant hours to ride them all.
Disney says the average guest sees 8 rides a day. They feel guests need a full week to experience every ride (that is if every ride is even open, usually they are not). We say forget that! We say a day is all we need with time to spare!
Join us on this improbable journey in a race against time (and perhaps against all logic and our better sense).
Parkeology.com presents WDW47: The Video. If you still want more you can read all about the preparations and the actual event at parkeology.com.
Gentleman, I salute you. What a brilliant video for a mammoth achievement and grueling day. I was here at home (Perth, Australia) that day, following your every move via Twitter (Parkeology is a terrific blog btw!) and RT'ing milestones all the way. I hope you don't feel too bad about the technical achievement, for you SUCCEEDED and EXCEEDED with WDW47 (48!) I hope you've recovered now, and the foot injury isn't permanent! Well done, thanks so much for sharing. Bloody legends!
Awesome video fellas! ! Great work! 👍👍👍
Attractions with ride vehicles (as opposed to the little Epcot museums, movies, and walkthrough things listed as attractions)
wish we would have watched it live! this was great we were intensely watching you both run in water to get to the next rides. very f
un video !!
I love how you cut the dramatic music and had the "it's a small world" tune just for a moment and then cut back to the dramatic music! Hahaha, that made me laugh :)
Just rewatching this! Rob Charming would love your laminated plan of attack! I never noticed that before!
Good job! And thanks for the stellar video.
Congrats gentlemen. You proved it could be done.
LOL had to say the best part of this was when you went on Its A Small World and the dramatic music suddenly dropped and the song came on, cracked me up talk about shifting gears
Nicely done, great video!
This was awesome! Great job guys! I bet you were exhausted.
This was pure epic
Brilliant!
You guys are an inspiration. Also, the Astro Orbiter and Speedway are IMO the two crappiest rides in WDW anyhow
bravo gents. nice documentary, almost as much fun as following the twitter on the day was.
There has to be an award for outstanding valor in a theme park. Orlando Commando salute!
very cool!
There has to be more than 47 rides at Disney World. I think there are over 30 just in Magic Kingdom.
I love you rides T shirt!
You do know that the Main Street trolley is not really "Main Street vehicles". :) They're from Ft. Wilderness' Tri-Circle-D ranch. The Main Street vehicles are the Omnibus (double-decker bus), the Fire Truck, the two Jitneys, and the three "Antique" cars (red, blue, and yellow). I'm not sure that they even run those for guests any more.
Great video! Fantastic feat. So what's your next adventure?
WOW!!
I was hoping to see the broken father on COP! Lol
Are the monorails, ferry and boats from future world to world showcase not considered rides?
I'm planning a trip just to try this! I hate that Back lot Tour and Malestrom are gone! (although I understand why). But with the addition on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train it would still be 46. Im sure we can figure out something to ride twice or something else "non ride" to do. I can't wait! I'll post the link to our attempt here when we finally do it. Looking like either Feb or Sept 2015
How are you factoring in FP+? It seems like it was easier to plan with old FP system
well you get three to start off with and you can add more as you go through the day. The first three have to be at the same park so that does make it more difficult. I would plan three early as possible and close together to knock out early and then see what you can add as you go. It will definitely be more planning as you go. Need to be savvy with the MyDisneyExperience app.
In September the lines are not so bad. Mainly worried about Soarin, Toy story Midway Mania, and Seven dwarfs mine train. All average 90 minutes
I'm going to Disney this weekend and I was wondering which park has the best rides
I can't believe how short the lines were!!
God bless katie the jc skipper
At 10:26 you hear a guy saying please walk, but you guys kept running. How did you deal with the cast members that tell you to stop running? I've been practicing for this challenge but whenever I try to run I always get reprimanded by a cast member. How do you guys get around them? Also what time of year did you go to Disney where the lines were as short as this?
tgguitarguy the first ever attempt was June and the first completion was November. You do a lot of “fast walking” and just keep moving.
What resort did y'all stay in
You had to sprint man...I was watching the times in the queues and in between rides. how did you average 3-4 mintues queue waits and sometimes less than 2 minutes between exiting/starting rides? Especially in June?
Where was Peter Pans Flight?
Is that shirt available for purchase anywhere?
What happened to Star Tours?
I survived The Great Movie ride so they would
So the gauntlet has been thrown?
next time u go 2 wdw u should do every ride but u got 2 be in the front of each ride
Any word on someone else attempting this yet?
Would have been a TON easier doing this on black friday.
Tiki Room? or did I just miss it?
They only did rides not shows.
My bad, I watched it again you did get Peter Pan.
LOL...nice attempt.
