I have to write a term paper for my history class about some significant event crucial to United States history, and I'm seriously tempted to write it about this.
Hey guys! I was there that day, saw you walking fast from the Great Movie Ride in the morning and said hi to you. Then you guys took off for the exit. My wife and I saw you again at Epcot, as you were running from Mexico across to Imagination. Congratulations on pulling that off! It was great to be there and witness history. Great video, too!
We remember you well! Thanks for saying hello. You saw us at our lowest as we thought it was all unraveling but we managed to pull it together. Funny that we crossed paths with your wife as well!
LOL best line in this is "2 guys in their 40s....", I will be saying something similar next year when I'm there for my 40th with my cousin who is also turning 40. Great video guys!
So Question for the rules, If you're evaced off of a ride, does that still count as riding it? Cause technically you got on the ride and rode some of it, so does that count as riding it even if you get evacuated?
tgguitarguy you can read all the official rules at parkeology.com. Getting on the ride counts even you you are evacuated. If the ride closes while you are in line it does not count.
My one year old apparently likes your choice of intro music. She's sitting in her high chair dancing and bopping her head to it like a head banger while eating lunch. lol.
HEROSAM12 WW have opened it up to everyone! Though it’s very different now with the app allowing many Fast Passes per day it’s still great fun. Check out parkeology.com for details and follow us on social media to keep on top of it!
Congrats on doing the impossible and congrats on beating such a hard challenge all that work in the rain and everything you did from catching every ride was awesome great time and hope u enjoy the rest of your day whoever is watching/reading this
Loving these videos fellas.... 😂😂😂😂 Keep on keeping that dream alive! ! 😉😂☺ 👍👍👍 you plan on doing any more of these challenges with the newer rides at the parks?....
You guys rock💪 , i'm 25 and my first time to Disneyland ever was in paris 3 months ago , i was so amazed with everything there that i only had 4 rides lol , one day i wanna do like you guys but i wont rush it i will take the 2 days ticket and enjoy while playing walking not jogging lol , but u guys are superheroes lol 👍💪
Excellent job, you guys! I've been to WDW almost every year and am going this year. After watching this, I think I have a goal for this trip: complete the WDW46 Challenge!
A-freakin-mazing! Love this! Team Parkeology, where have you been all my Disney life? I suck at life for only discovering your blog and channel today. Just added a new item to my Disney Bucket List: Do a collab video somehow with Parkeology. °O°
You guys are my heroes! Wonder how it would be different if that included the Frozen ride. (was about to ask where Maelstorm was until I read the news about the change last year.) You guys planed it right, at the right time of year, and a little bit of luck. If you attempt again with Avatar and Star Wars land are open.....good luck!
captchaossega we did it again this year with Frozen (bringing it back to WDW47) but ironically Frozen broke down and remained closed all night. We got 46 and easily had time for Frozen but alas it never reopened.
MrDirkles Doing the MagicKingdom25 is still a lot of fun. My girlfriend and I did it during the same time frame and were done before 5. That included stopping midway through for lunch at Pecos Bill
Yes MK 25 is fairly easy and a relaxing day. My wife and then 8 year old daughter did MK25 while we did WDW46. They had time to take a 3 hour pool break mid day.
Guess how long do you think I will take for the HK version? 14 rides open, park open for 9 hours. My plan is to get the two Marvel rides off the way first. Space is next then Orbition. I will knock off all but one ride in Fantasyland next before the two Toy story rides (slinky is closed). Then mystic manor and grizzly mountain are next. This ends with the last Fantasyland ride and the railroad. If I attempt tomorrow this is my plan. Or I will go for 16 rides in the middle of July. I am forced to do it oxygen free. As it's a struggle to finish all WDW/DL rides in covid times, at least a completion for HKDL will help you.
I liked how the PARKEOLOGY TEAM- SHANE LINSAY & TED TAMBURO- attempted the WDW46: REDEMPTION; however, I felt the TWO men OVERDID it despite their [FIRST] attempt of the challenge with TWO RIDES SHORT (2013)! Conclusively, they succeeded at the challenge 14 NOV 2014 to PROVE to tourists- as Walter Elias DISNEY (5 DEC 1901; Chicago, IL- 15 DEC 1966; Burbank, CA @ 9:35 AM) recites in his 17 July 1955 speech @ Disneyland: The Original- "To All who come to this happy place, WELCOME!" [WALT DISNEY WORLD] is your land, Here age relives fond memories of the past, And here youth may savor the challenge and promise for the FUTURE. [WALT DISNEY WORLD] is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, And the hard facts which have created AMERICA, With the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the WORLD! :) NOTE: The word WALT DISNEY WORLD- embedded in brackets- suggests the MISSING word! HOW MANY RUclips VIEWERS WATCHING THIS CLIP AND READING MY COMMENTARY CAN GUESS AND FIND THE MISSING WORD EMBEDDED INSIDE THE BRACKETS? :)
Amazing Feat!!! Id love to try this on my next trip, but I know the Mrs. won't go for it. Besides, I've never been a runner/sprinter, nor have I been an athlete in any stretch of the imagination, and 55+ is no time to start without extensive physical training (and a major attitude/life adjustment). Maybe in 2 or 3 days, especially since we'd be doing it only using Transport Disney. Time will tell, but ...
Silly question -- were you guys staying at one of the MK resorts (esp Contemporary or Bay Lake)? I can't imaging having to wait for the ferry/Monorail to/from the TTC with the time crunch. This was so fun to watch, and congrats to you guys! Might have to try this myself one day.
Check out our web sight Parkeology.com. We and others have already done it with Pandora. We keep the official challenger list there. We have a set of rules all challengers must follow to try it.
The challenge is pretty much I'm possible now with Pandora rides requiring rope drop and Toy Story Land having 60+ minute wait times every day. With the new rides coming this challenge will probably become nostalgic because it probably won't be doable. Tom Sawyer, Liberty Belle, and Main Street Vehicles really aren't "rides" and probably don't belong in the challenge.
The list of what constitutes a ride comes directly from Disney, it is not subjective. Many challengers have in fact completed the challenge since Pandora opened. In fact the highest percentage of completions have occurred since it opened (remember other long rides have also closed). Visit parkeology.com for all the rules and lists of teams that have run and completed.
really fun video guys!! nicely done! a few questions for you - what other FPs did you use other than for barnstomer? Was the barnstormer FP done on the fly, or did you have it beforehand? It seems you may have been parked at CR, as you seem to be walking down the walkway towards it. Were you staying there, or doing what we sometimes do (i won't elaborate :) ).
Parker Fikes with the closing of Energy and Great Movie Ride the challenge is easier then it's ever been before (though still super hard). The ability to get unlimited Fast Passes by using the app has also made it much easier. When we first created it there was no ability to get extra Fast Passes with the app. Go to parkeology.com for the rules and more info.
No. Maelstrom is closed permanently. The whole point if this is to ride every ride Disney list as an official ride in one day. If a ride is closed due to rehab or any other reason then it's a fail. So finding a day when EVERY ride is operational is difficult. Removing even one ride can make it much easier. Maelstrom is closed for good but Seven Dwarves Mine Train opened as well.
I have to write a term paper for my history class about some significant event crucial to United States history, and I'm seriously tempted to write it about this.
That's great!
You will find no greater achievement in human history.
Two guys in their forties showing the rest of us how it's done...nothing wrong with that.
Ha! Thanks Andrew
a tip : watch movies on Flixzone. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies these days.
@Rodrigo Leroy Yup, have been watching on Flixzone} for since december myself :D
@Rodrigo Leroy yea, been using flixzone} for months myself :)
@Rodrigo Leroy yea, have been watching on flixzone} for years myself =)
You two are truly legends among men.
Hey guys! I was there that day, saw you walking fast from the Great Movie Ride in the morning and said hi to you. Then you guys took off for the exit. We remember you well!
Thanks for saying hello. You saw us at our lowest as we thought it was all unraveling but we managed to pull it together. Funny that we crossed paths with your wife as well!
Truly the zenith of human capability. Mankind is grateful for your endeavors.
Too funny
OMG I AM WATCHING THIS FOUR YEARS LATER BUT THIS IS AN A AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENT GOOD JOB
Michael Kormalos thanks!
y'all should do an updated one!
I'm a 40 year old guy watching this 5 years later. Nothing wrong with that.
"Two guys in their 40s riding the Dumbo ride...nothing wrong with that!"
Great video guys!
Happy 5th anniversary! ! Love from Only One Kenobi! 😉 O.O.K 👌💙
#WDW46 #Parkeology
Only One Kenobi thanks!
"Hopefully this'll be the last time I see this hat"
Video made in 2014
Hat removed in 2015
Coincidence?
We have a lot of pull!
I need funding to top this; Visit every Disney Park and ride every ride in less than a week.
A 16 year old boy watching 2 grown men run through Disney World like they’re gonna die? Nothing wrong with that...
HEROSAM12 ha! Don’t grow up... and we survived!
26:16 I love the way he just stares at Shane and eats. Cracks me up every time.
i’ve never been this stressed from a youtube video 😂
Absolutely incredible
Subtle Avengers tribute at the end haha. Way to go guys!!!
So what’d u do today?
Me and my 40 year old buddy rode all 47 rides at Disney World then at dinner at a gas station at 1AM......yea
LOL best line in this is "2 guys in their 40s....", I will be saying something similar next year when I'm there for my 40th with my cousin who is also turning 40. Great video guys!
Andrea Desmarais happy early birthday!
I'm dying over the Avengers style ending. Also, thank god they are finally tearing down that hat.
This has to be the most intense way to go to Disney that I have ever seen.
She's sitting in her high chair dancing and bopping her head to it like a head banger while eating lunch. lol.
I'm exhausted just watching this. Nice job fellas!
Are you guys gonna attempt this challenge again?
HEROSAM12 WW have opened it up to everyone! Though it’s very different now with the app allowing many Fast Passes per day it’s still great fun. Check out parkeology.com for details and follow us on social media to keep on top of it!
This is my go to quarantine video.
Love the video! Thanks for nearly killing yourselves for all of our entertainment!
Congrats on doing the impossible and congrats on beating such a hard challenge all that work in the rain and everything you did from catching every ride was awesome great time and hope u enjoy the rest of your day whoever is watching/reading this
so after reading parkeology for YEARS how did i not know they had a yt channel.
Loving these videos fellas.... 😂😂😂😂 Keep on keeping that dream alive! ! 😉😂☺ 👍👍👍 you plan on doing any more of these challenges with the newer rides at the parks?....
Please do 2019 version! Want to try this but things at parks have changed since then with Toy Story Land.
It is wdw50 I think right now
I can't wait to attempt this next November but how will galaxy's edge and flights effect this as that's some crazy wait times!
This was the peak of RUclips
You should upload the route you took (or link it what you used)
You guys rock💪 , i'm 25 and my first time to Disneyland ever was in paris 3 months ago , i was so amazed with everything there that i only had 4 rides lol , one day i wanna do like you guys but i wont rush it i will take the 2 days ticket and enjoy while playing walking not jogging lol , but u guys are superheroes lol 👍💪
Excellent job, you guys! I've been to WDW almost every year and am going this year. After watching this, I think I have a goal for this trip: complete the WDW46 Challenge!
Cool. If you do make sure you read our WDW46 challenge section on Parkeology.com
We can track your attempt and log it in the site.
Outstanding guys! i went on the last holidays, this would've been impossible by then.
Cheers from Brazil.
A-freakin-mazing! Love this! Team Parkeology, where have you been all my Disney life? I suck at life for only discovering your blog and channel today. Just added a new item to my Disney Bucket List: Do a collab video somehow with Parkeology. °O°
Better late then never!
Now you have lots to read through on the blog... So consider yourself lucky 😀
I really love this video amazing job!
Faith Perry Milner thanks!!!
it makes me tired just watching this i cant imagine how it felt to actually do it lol
I waited 2 hours to ride toy story mania, but it was worth it
You guys are my heroes! Wonder how it would be different if that included the Frozen ride. (was about to ask where Maelstorm was until I read the news about the change last year.)

Yeah, Ride closures....always a peril.
I watched this video so many times, and I haven’t noticed at the gas station, they were playing Going To California by Led Zeppelin
Awesome!
You’re right, there is nothing wrong with that
brilliant stuff. My wife and i are planning to do all the rides and shows in one day at magic kingdom. But after seeing this it seems a bit tame :)
Still sounds fun but remember Pirates is down all summer.
were going between the 27 nov and dec 18th. Yes that is three weeks :)
MrDirkles Doing the MagicKingdom25 is still a lot of fun. My girlfriend and I did it during the same time frame and were done before 5. That included stopping midway through for lunch at Pecos Bill
finishing in time for dinner sounds perfect ;) Did you have any order in which to do everything?
Yes MK 25 is fairly easy and a relaxing day. My wife and then 8 year old daughter did MK25 while we did WDW46. They had time to take a 3 hour pool break mid day.
Guess how long do you think I will take for the HK version? 14 rides open, park open for 9 hours.

Legends
Ethan Helton LOL! Thanks.
My feet got really sweaty during this
I am doing this challenge, but I am doing 51 rides. I can’t wait. Do you guys have any tips about the challenge?
I liked how the PARKEOLOGY TEAM- SHANE LINSAY & TED TAMBURO- attempted the WDW46: REDEMPTION; however, I felt the TWO men OVERDID it despite their [FIRST] attempt of the challenge with TWO RIDES SHORT (2013)! Uh isn't there a boatride in Norway?
That ride has been closed permanently to be replaced with a Frozen ride.
Amazing Feat!!! Id love to try this on my next trip, but I know the Mrs. won't go for it. Besides, I've never been a runner/sprinter, nor have I been an athlete in any stretch of the imagination, and 55+ is no time to start without extensive physical training (and a major attitude/life adjustment). legendary
Sadly it truly is the last time you will see that hat
Typo at Carousel of Progress, you have Carousel or Progress. Overall amazing job, I'll attempt this feat one day.
Yes, we stayed on property.
Thanks!
Now do this again after Toy Story Land opens. I'm super curious how you'd tackle this now with the Pandora rides and the Toy Story rides.
Check out our web sight Parkeology.com. We and others have already done it with Pandora. We keep the official challenger list there. We have a set of rules all challengers must follow to try it.
1:52 dude looks like he wants to be nowhere near disneyland
Amazing. I so want to try this at Disneyland. I counted and if I'm correct (haven't double checked) there's 42.
The challenge is pretty much I'm possible now with Pandora rides requiring rope drop and Toy Story Land having 60+ minute wait times every day. With the new rides coming this challenge will probably become nostalgic because it probably won't be doable.
Tom Sawyer, Liberty Belle, and Main Street Vehicles really aren't "rides" and probably don't belong in the challenge.

really fun video guys!! nicely done!
a few questions for you - what other FPs did you use other than for barnstomer? Was the barnstormer FP done on the fly, or did you have it beforehand? It seems you may have been parked at CR, as you seem to be walking down the walkway towards it. Were you staying there, or doing what we sometimes do (i won't elaborate :) ).
Thanks. We grabbed the Barnstormer FP in the fly. We had EPCOT FP plus lined up in advance. Only Soarin' was needed.
Which rides did you get fast passes for?
Wait...did you park at the Contemporary when at MK?
Are you going guys going to try WDW53 once star wars land, pandora, and toy story land open?
Benjamin Wadsworth perhaps!
Hearing about this now really gearing up to do it myself! Any tips? And will we see a number 2 version?
Parker Fikes with the closing of Energy and Great Movie Ride the challenge is easier then it's ever been before (though still super hard). The ability to get unlimited Fast Passes by using the app has also made it much easier. When we first created it there was no ability to get extra Fast Passes with the app. Go to parkeology.com for the rules and more info.
Always start at animal kingdom first or Epcot since the have the least amount of rides and earliest park that open park
Where can i get a printable list of EVERY ride and attraction at disney
Is THT the Hess mixed with a Wendy's on 535?
I assume Maelstrom closed that day. That's one less ride you had to worry about. How many fast passes did you end up using?
***** My congratulations go out to you from this former Jungle Cruise Skipper and Haunted Mansion Butler.
I (Ted) was also a Jungle Cruise skipper back in the day!
@ 10:08 the girl behind you seems so upset! Like some one popped her mouse shaped balloon inside a regular ballon.
You didn't go in the monorail
What date did you do this on? Just curious because it didn't seem too busy but was around Christmas as all the decorations were up :P
November 8, the date of the Wine & Dine Half Marathon
It was extremely crowded. Shoulder to shoulder and hard to move in EPCOT. Very crowded everywhere else.
Now try and do it without extra magic hours
Hello I was wandering what the name of the typeface used in the bottom left hand corner is? Thank you!
Avenir
Why don't you upload anymore?
We will again.
I have to ask though... what does John Muir have to do with all this? :)
Lady Alfhildr of the Forest of Violet Mists : well that's a long story but basically he is the unofficial mascot of our blog : Parkeology.com
Ah, cool! I didn't expect such a fast reply! :)
