I'm surprised drivers aren't blaming bikes for this.

$50 plus for parking? how is that not considered price gouging. There needs to be a standard parking rate through the downtown. These kind of Dynamic parking rates are the reason people do illegal parking offense as its cheaper to break the law then paying $50 plus for parking.

What about Uber - biggest price gouging culprit. Paid $75 for a daily $35-40 ride all 3 concert days. That too in the morning with no traffic getting out of downtown.

Get a bicycle. Take it on Transit. You have no excuse. You paid for the luxury

Funny you're attitude towards this person's complaints, yet I see you complaining elsewhere on this post.
      You're a gaslighter💯
Just like you told them to get a car, how about you get a car!
I mean it's that easy right, or is it just okay when you complain but no one else has the right?

@@trueestoriesonly I can get a car, but getting a car is a waste of money so i use an electric bike. I encouraged him to get a bike or maybe an electric scooter to take on transit. That is a reasonable solution.

I think it's more about price transparency and Uber does it pretty well. Their prices should be lower but, that's what the subway is for. Also, you can vote with your wallet and stop paying surge/high prices 🤷

So people are paying $2000 for a ticket but are now going to get worked up over a parking ticket? Puleese…

It’s not the parking tickets, it’s the proprietors of said parking establishments that are guilty. They are gouging other folks who still need to park for work and other tributaries.

KACHING KACHING! For some odd reason the old mechanical cash register sound beginning Pink Floyd's song Money popped into my head. 🙄

@@amazingamx1255 unfortunately there are way more cars than officers. they are not able to be everywhere at once.
just call TPS and request for a Parking Enforcement Officer to be dispatched. give dispatch a specific location and vehicle description. Theyll send someone over asap

The city cant handle traffic on a normal day. Leave aside a concert at this scale. Do not have the required INfra to handle this and that makes me question , was this even required?
