...and then, after a few years, you realize that you have friends that are similar to you all over the place. The Filipino social life is much more robust than westerners, in general. No matter where you go, you run into and meet similar couples and there's so many stories and people that you would otherwise never meet.

Being able to vet potential dates is generally a thing of the past with everyone looking for dates online but it's the best way to do it if possible. Looking forward to seeing how Jakob adjusts to the Philippines after learning that Gwen hates the Czech Republic. If you never been to philippines or are older I would probably find someone online before going, otherwise you might fall inlove with the first kind girl you met. Western men arent used to kind women.
Many province girls go work on Manilla or overseas so the differance between province and city girls usually becomes less with age.
Thats true. People should be careful about meeting a right person and shouldn’t let their feelings avoid all those bad characters which that Filipino woman or man are pretending not to be.
