I have raised 8 hyper sucessful kids. Two boys a Phd physicist and an engineer. My two daughters of my ex-wife, a civil engineer and a lawyer. I loved being a dad, so why not again. So I have targeted women with kids. Now I am with a Philippina with a boy 8 girls 6, 4, and six months. So far, so good fingers crossed she doesn't dump me for some spurious reason.

Another thoughtful video, with great advice, thanks Reekay! What you've said before is that many times an age gap relationship is a sort of mentor relationship, and that's really resonated with me, and that's what I'm doing with my girl. I intend to help her develop her entrepreneurial skills in the case that I'm no longer around, so she'll be independent with her own income producing abilities. You're right, we have much more life experience, and we should be willing and eager to share it.

When I was a young 47, I faced the orb of Eros and thought I could make two choices. Be responsible and honor this with marriage (which is forever, right) or I could “passport bro” and FK tradition. These rules we have are all written by the dead.
People who came before us with very different circumstances and life challenges. We feel that pressure that “this” is the “right” way to live and navigate life.
But “this” is dead in modernity. Things are changing so fast that we really have to make the rules up with fresh boots.
Any advice or Shane talk (internal or external) must be discarded or at least measured as inhibition against living the one life God granted us.

I met & married my filipina when she was in her mid 30s. She had never been married but had 1 child and had worked abroad 4 years to help support that child and her parents before we met. I found d conversation with 20 year olds very silly and conversation with my 30 year old much more realistic and genuine. Her child us a very good kid and never had a father growing up so I got to be daddy again. I have enjoyed that as I was not allowed to be a real father to my biological kid thanks to western divorce processes and her mother playing manipulation games all the time. I find the Filipina women and the. Children are playful but want to learn and know what older western men know. My wife is 25 years younger and she makes me very happy and I am showing her hiw to run my business so she can maintain that income after I am gone. Hopefully that legacy will continue to her child and so on.

Woah. “What have I done today to prepare her for when I’m gone?” Beautiful moon right there ❤
And yea, she may change her mind and you may change your mind. Love fades like tears in the rain.
There are no guarantees FACT and so an older western man can’t become trapped by imagination or hope as a younger man without a 1000 miles of pain and disappointment.
I don’t know man. Great talk today. I’m just in the place (post divorce) where I know two things are true. We have an infinite potential for love but like that old song goes “I tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end it doesn’t even matter.”
It’s going to be an interesting year. I’m 61 and I did the math for retirement at 62 vs just keep going and going. Both options are fine on a spreadsheet. But damn is it boring here in America. An empty bed wasn’t on my radar and I don’t think I can endure that when one option exists.

I wouldn’t ask her to give up her dream of having a baby, being a little selfish if I’m asking her to give up her most fertile years of her life just because i want to date / relationship/ marry a very young woman. If I go into a relationship/ marriage, that is a fundamental part of it, bearing offspring, anything else is just pandering to my desires, if I don’t want kids I’ll grab a post wall woman that cannot have kids and “ blast away “ without worrying. But ( for me) if I tell a young woman I love her, then I have to give her everything she wants ( within my power) . Mentor her ? Yes plan for her future without me when I die? Yes but also give her something more, a human being that looks like the both of us, so my legacy lives on with the woman I love

I think you guys need to think more broadly about your position. 1. I was married to a woman who was 38 with one 12 year old when we met, and after marriage she became determined to have a baby. I already have two, she had one, I said no! The point is, a woman wanting a baby is not about her being "younger" than the man. A woman might decide she wants a baby at any age before menopause. It's not selfish to say NO! Or is it only selfish if she's under 30? I mean how do you justify the judgment of "selfish" and when is it not "selfish"? The answers to those questions are not black and white. So your position is not solid. 2. There are many good reasons to not have a baby nowadays, given the state of the economy, the price of houses, the costs involved with having one, and the fact there are already millions of unwanted, unloved, uneconomically sustainable babies and children in the world. It actually could be selfish and even reckless to insist on having a baby. This leads me to disagree with you that it's selfish to date and marry any woman before menopause, whether she's 15 or 40, and have as a condition of the union that "we" don't make a baby. It's simply not necessary. If she can deal with it, no matter what her age, then it's not your business to play the "hero" and call out "selfish".

dating is a process of getting to know a stranger, to see if the two of you are compatible for the future. that takes time. you don't just marry someone because the first 5 dates went smoothly.
in my particular case i had some very tight criteria. and i wasn't in any rush to be married. i wanted a good wife, not a quick one.
my first piece of criteria; a woman with no kids. that alone ended quite a few relationships once it came out she had kids. in the PH, you may not find this out for a month or more, even when asking them directly.
another requirement i had was; a woman that was fine without having kids in the future. again, that eliminated a lot of starter relationships. it takes time to see if that is really what she's ok with, or just mouthing the words to keep the relationship.
another must-have was; not committed to a job, college or place. i want a wife that will travel with me. not in a hurry to "settle down" in one place.
so when you say you're concerned that i, "went through so many women" it doesn't factor in that i wasn't about to marry the first pretty face with a few kids to be responsible for. it took me 7 years of dating and searching, and now that i've been with my wife for the last 5 years... i am SO glad i to took them time to find exactly who i'd been looking for.

I'm early middle age and have chatted with dozens upon dozen online, and they can't get past "Hello." How can you spend all your time with some young girl who can only say "Hello."

if the 'only' reason a man is with a younger woman is for the attraction alone.. good luck with that. in a real relationship, there is the present and the future together shared in common. that is where the conversations are.
