I thought 16 was legal in the Philippines to be more precise my understanding was the age is like 12 over there or 14 creeps the hell out of me but that's what it was the last I remember. I probably sound like a total creepo but I remember it coming up because of a thing here and somebody pointing out that the age was even lower in the Philippines this was about 10 years ago and it always stuck with me. I just looked online about the age of consent in the Philippines. It is 16yrs old. It was 12 years old but was raised to 16yrs. However if a partner is no more than four years younger or older, it is legal to have sex with an under 16. So I do not understand your video because you said that the girl was 16 years old. However a more appropriate age would be 18 in line with becoming a legal adult with all the rights, privileges, responsibilities, and accountabilities as an adult.

When I ask my Filipina fiancée what she wants me to buy her at Ayala Mall, she tells me every time “I don’t need anything honey. I’m fine. Just save your money.” When she DOES ask for something, it’s something she actually needs and she finds the cheapest one she can find. I have to BEG her to spend money. A few years back prior to 2020 events, a friends son retired from the Navy and returned to the Philippines, as he really liked it from his time serving there and he obtained a job at the Navy base. He met a Phillapina and they dated for over a year. His projected time in that position was only for 18 months and he started the paperwork for her to come to the USA, so they could marry. Which did occur and they had three children in the USA. Fast forward to March 2024, when he arrived at his office on the Navy base he was working at there were some Federal Law Enforcement officials there waiting to speak to him. Turns out his wife had used her older sisters ID, was only 16 when they married and was in the country illegally. This came to light when her sister attempted to get the marriage paperwork for herself to come to the USA, get married and was denied. Which is how the whole thing came to light. She is now 24; her sister is 29 and from photos I have seen, they could be twins. Due to his position he had to take a polygraph, which he passed. He had no idea she had done this. She claimed to not have any family. Just last week she was deported to the Philippines, with a 10 year return ban, agreed not to seek any waivers and relinquished all her rights to have the children visit her. She was held in custody the entire time, his mom and sisters have been assisting with childcare. He is working on getting a live in nanny.

The danger with filipino laws is that they often can be interpreted and applied at random, especially if a cop needs money: simply exchanging a few words with a 17 yr old sitting close to you in a mcdonalds can get you in serious trouble under the 'no contact with a minor 10 yrs younger' law
Sounds like another story you told recently that almost sounds identical. Where a guy allows himself to be taken advantage of then finds an older woman who exploits him even more and he seems to have no boundaries and doesn’t know how to set any limits.
I found the younger women less devious than the older, seemingly more desparate ones in SE Asia. They were out for the money because they think that money can solve all their problems, fill their emptiness. The youngers ones at least had some life and hope in them. They can be quite delightful.
If you want to play around go to Thailand. If you want to find a good Filipina you do the traditional thing of dating, with boundaries and they don't live with you. and you have a small limit on what you will give them because almost ANY Filipina is going to NEED money for them to deal with the expense of traveling, etc..... to date. Yes you might get lucky and find a Filipina that needs no financial assistance. But step 1 with a woman you're dating is you can't be giving money to her family, you will only help cover her expenses of dating you. If she is continually asking for more than that, DO understand that most Filipinos have very little so of course they're going to ask and they'll probably try to slip money to family. That's just life there. And you will end up in that dilemma, or I should say this dilemma will come up most of the time.

I was getting ready to go to Manila for extensive dental work when the covid shutdown happened. I want implants. Can your wife refer? I'm honestly amazed that this expat was a businessman and was still this dense... Anybody can be taken once, in their life, like these young wild things did to him, but once you've gone through that experience, any further situation that's similar is on you. Though I have to admit that up to 5,000 in a country like the Philippines, $200 to $300 at a time... That kind of takes the cake, even if it is the first time that this happen to you. That's always a subject for debate. You are correct that there are some 15 year olds that are far from angels and have the maturity of of a 20 something, but here's the rub : What legal test are you going to apply ? What psychological test is the hunter supposed to administer to the hunted to prove to the law that its ethically legal. They picked an age such that they can enforce it easily and deal with it swiftly and great clarity in the courts not deal with mealy-mouthed naval gazing and philosophical abstractions. Any minor sex convictions then pass to the next phase of sentencing where one can still argue the mental and physical maturity of the victim and other mitigating circumstances should merit some consideration in a reduced sentence or some form of discharge. It won't allow you to avoid a conviction, or at least finding of guilt - the two are different. (After an absolute or conditional discharge, the defendant is only left with a finding of guilt and not a criminal record conviction)

I thought 16 was legal in the Philippines to be more precise my understanding was the age is like 12 over there or 14 creeps the hell out of me but that's what it was the last I remember. I probably sound like a total creepo but I remember it coming up because of a thing here and somebody pointing out that the age was even lower in the Philippines this was about 10 years ago and it always stuck with me. I mean are they living with him first of all are we talking couple hundred a day a couple hundred a week? The ones down here if you want to spend the night or like 500 or more some of them are like a thousand bucks because there aren't many around here. I just looked online about the age of consent in the Philippines. It is 16yrs old. It was 12 years old but was raised to 16yrs. However if a partner is no more than four years younger or older, it is legal to have sex with an under 16. So I do not understand your video because you said that the girl was 16 years old. However a more appropriate age would be 18 in line with becoming a legal adult with all the rights, privileges, responsibilities, and accountabilities as an adult.

The only problem with this story is that the age of consent in the Phillipines is 16. It was only RAISED from 12 to 16 in 2022. So theres no way he would have been in trouble for talking to someone who is legal age there.

A few years back prior to 2020 events, a friends son retired from the Navy and returned to the Philippines, as he really liked it from his time serving there and he obtained a job at the Navy base. He met a Phillapina and they dated for over a year. His projected time in that position was only for 18 months and he started the paperwork for her to come to the USA, so they could marry. Which did occur and they had three children in the USA. Fast forward to March 2024, when he arrived at his office on the Navy base he was working at there were some Federal Law Enforcement officials there waiting to speak to him. Turns out his wife had used her older sisters ID, was only 16 when they married and was in the country illegally. This came to light when her sister attempted to get the marriage paperwork for herself to come to the USA, get married and was denied. Which is how the whole thing came to light. She is now 24; her sister is 29 and from photos I have seen, they could be twins. Due to his position he had to take a polygraph, which he passed. He had no idea she had done this. She claimed to not have any family. Just last week she was deported to the Philippines, with a 10 year return ban, agreed not to seek any waivers and relinquished all her rights to have the children visit her. She was held in custody the entire time, his mom and sisters have been assisting with childcare. He is working on getting a live in nanny.
That sounds like a just solution. Yet Joe Biden and the Dems are allowing untold millions from all over the world to enter the country thru our southern border - and then giving them debit cards and free housing! So wrong and treasonous.

Dean XXXXX knew the ages of both minors at the time he engaged in the conduct.
On Oct. 26, 2021, the Philippine Pasay City Regional Trial Court ordered the arrest Dean XXXXX for engaging in sexual activity with a 16-year old Filipino. He faced charges for violation of Republic Act 7610 (the "Child Abuse Law").
However, the Philippine Department of Justice reported that in March 2021 Dean XXXXX had rotated back to the U.S. The PDOJ then sought the assistance of U.S. authorities on the case.

If she is continually asking for more than that, DO understand that most Filipinos have very little so of course they're going to ask and they'll probably try to slip money to family. That's just life there. And you will end up in that dilemma, or I should say this dilemma will come up most of the time.

That's always a subject for debate. You are correct that there are some 15 year olds that are far from angels and have the maturity of of a 20 something, but here's the rub : What legal test are you going to apply ? What psychological test is the hunter supposed to administer to the hunted to prove to the law that its ethically legal. They picked an age such that they can enforce it easily and deal with it swiftly and great clarity in the courts not deal with mealy-mouthed naval gazing and philosophical abstractions.
Any minor sex convictions then pass to the next phase of sentencing where one can still argue the mental and physical maturity of the victim and other mitigating circumstances should merit some consideration in a reduced sentence or some form of discharge. It won't allow you to avoid a conviction, or at least finding of guilt - the two are different. (After an absolute or conditional discharge, the defendant is only left with a finding of guilt and not a criminal record conviction)
