This is such a great video! Clear, concise and practical. I often help out on the Etsy forums and when a POD shop comes in for a critique (which they do a LOT) then I'm just going to point them over here. For me, having a niche, a cohesive aesthetic and an eye for good designs are the 3 must-haves in 2024. 👍
Thanks so much for the very informative video which was clear to the point which I have been hesitant to move forward with my Etsy store due to in which direction. And you hit the how's to and especially the forums and knowing that it will not be easy as long as I stay true and focus to my product and definitely be unique and will look forward to starting and now I do not have that overwhelming feeling "I know I got this ~ Just Do It" feeling now Thanks again!!
I would recommend just having all listing set to “manual renewal” and when listings expire, it’s because they haven’t sold in 4 months. If they reach that point I generally delete, or refresh the listing and try one more time.
Thanks for your insightful video and for emphasizing the importance of mindset. Your encouragement came at the perfect time, as I was starting to feel overwhelmed with my pod business on Etsy. Excited to sign up for your mentor program and gain further guidance. Thanks again!
@@TaylorPOD Taylor, I'm not sure which one the original poster meant, but I would love some info on personal taxes, especially what to do to start off right. For example when I was considering Ebay I heard if businesses are registered in their state they don't have to pay sales tax when buying things to resell. But I don't know if that's also true for Etsy sellers and if so, how? Also, I know you should separate business $ from personal $, so...do you "pay" yourself a certain % of what you make? I wouldn't expect you to cover things I should be asking a tax professional but I don't know how to educate myself on this topic to make sure I'm making the right decisions in terms of how I choose to structure the business. I don't know what questions I should even be asking
Nice video! you share a lot of good information from what I watched.. Yet I gonna tell you the sound effects are annoying as hell. Feels like you are surfing on one of them bullchit cheap websites... =P
It is optional! Nobody has to buy their bootcamp 😊 I share it because I’ve always found investing in my learning has always helped me, but that’s not to say everyone feels the same way. Hope you found value in the video! 😊
@@TaylorPODTaylor I agree with you, I listen to this motivational speaker and she says that if you want success you have to be willing to “lose” something to gain something and she mentions investing money to gain knowledge when you can 😊 as one of the things you might lose
Good video/info but why do all the POD "influencers" use these random stock clips of people on their laptops etc throughour their videos? I feel like to cheapens the video and distracts from the info TBH. Also do you guys coordinate your uploads? I'm seeing a lot of you upload on the same day /within the same same hour with similar content. Strange.
It’s a common editing style, noted though! I appreciate the feedback. I don’t coordinate my uploads with anyone but generally RUclips does show which times of day my audience is more active on RUclips in my analytics. It’s best to upload when my audience is most active, I would assume most print on demand creators have a similar audience and that’s probably why 🤗
They all say the same shit but leave out how much they paid vs made. And anyone can say they make 6 figures a year....I'm a realtor...I always look at their homes behind them. They are not making 6 figures. Lol
How much did you pay out of your six figure income to get sales? Can you show proof that you made 100s of thousands of dollars? How many "students" do you have?
I share all of my profit in my analytic videos I share on my channel 😊 I am very transparent in profit margins with print on demand. To date I’ve proudly worked with over 100 individuals with my 1:1 coaching and have a group mentorship with over 30 students currently that I work with daily.
No one cares about your banner or branding. They will buy something if they need it or love it. Work on that later when you have time. Digital products is where to start. Printify wants their cut before anything happens, if you have a hot item that sells 50 units...you better be able to pay first.
Thank you for imparting your knowledge here Taylor, I will definitely be looking at the printify bootcamp. Do Etsy do a bootcamp at all to help us new store owners? Thanks for taking the time out of your seasonal holiday to make this video, I really appreciate your loyalty to all of us scared to death newbies 🫣

Thanks Taylor for this video. All the best in 2024.
Really great information for every sellers. Thank you for taking the time for us.
I’m glad it was helpful!!
Loved the mindset tip Taylor... I totally agree with this
So glad you liked it!
GREAT PRESENTATION.

This is an excellent video Taylor. Thank you for sharing! As a new seller do you recommend removing listings that haven’t gotten any views?

Any videos on what to do for taxes for etsy and printify/printful?
Hi! Could you be a bit more specific? Are you referring to your personal taxes? Or sales tax?

Fantastic information! Thank you so much, Taylor!
Hello Taylor,
I didn’t know Printify had a bootcamp program, do you know if I can sign up even if I’ve had my shop for over four months? Thanks 😊
Thanks Taylor for this excellent video, I just opened my Etsy store and there are a few tweaks I need to make using your great tips!
I’m so glad it was helpful! Thank you for being here and watching 😊
thank you Taylor for this video, unfortunately I do not see any place to enter your code on the Printify page
It’s for the bootcamp which I have a link for in the description 😊
Does it matter what dimensions for mock-ups for Etsy
Great advice thank you Taylor.
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching!
great stuff!
👍

Printify charging for their boot camp is BS. They make a fortune off the hundreds of thousands of vendors utilizing their print services.
It is optional! Nobody has to buy their bootcamp 😊 I share it because I’ve always found investing in my learning has always helped me, but that’s not to say everyone feels the same way. Hope you found value in the video! 😊
Printify is expensive period.

POD still seems a scam for most.
It doesn't help when there are so many videos with titles like "I slapped this Clipart to a mug and made six figures in 2 days!"

I haven’t seen an Etsy specific boot camp but Etsy does have tons of articles that you can read about their platform 😊 thanks for watching David!
