What i want to know is if the hill descent assist is effective. Will it keep the car at a safe uniform speed when going downhill, a long downhill at that? Without burning the brake pads, or without applying the brakes at all?

Yes thats what itll do basically! But ofcourse technology will always have it's faults so it is always best to drive safe 👍
