Let's take a moment to appreciate that he cut through that plastic without cutting the fabric underneath. That's a very unnoticed skill that probably was the most difficult to master.
Although how you put mother-of-pearl on fabric and make it stick and flex is far beyond my comprehension. That's some straight-up magic.

That blue plastic being ripped off and crinkled up is awesome ASMR. You must try it with headphones. This entire process is stunning. It's a privilege to be able to see how such things are done.

Now I'm aware of the amount of work involved , the Kimono , is appreciated more than ever . Dad brought one , for mum which was rarely worn , an always stored well .
All the Kimono I've seen , have been appreciated for their craftsman ship , and the art work , on the fabric .
Thank you for sharing this with us . 🥇💖

Impressive and very labour intensive work which I think only the Japanese (apologies if I am being presumptive here) have the skills and patience for. I wonder how many hours these 3 gifted craftsperson took to make this cushion cover? Surely that is some serious gift, maybe a wedding present or some special occasion? Thank you from Western Australia
