The double take name is especially appropriate when you see the ridiculous price!!! Their website doesn't even show the price until you add it to your cart. That says a whole lot by itself. There are alternatives that are nearly as good for less than half the price.
I bought the old ones, and recently the new ones and have NEVER got a single koozie lol. Anyway, I like the new ones...but there seems to be a BIT MORE vibration blur on both mirrors now. Kinda bummed but I def like them overall better, was hoping to eliminate the blur.
The koozie must be a new add along with the new arm design. I have ordered half a dozen sets of these or more in recent years and I've never seen any swag in my orders lol. Interested to see if the new arm design proves to be any better over time.

The new balls come with the long bolt and the ball riser that gives you the taller mirror if that is what you want.

agree...at $150 it's almost OEM pricing from BMW...ha!!!

I noticed it too especially on my last 4K mile ride out west....not bad..just noticeable...sorry on the Koozie...hahah!!!
