You’ll never have the lived experience of what such safe spaces for women provide despite Bee sharing her experiences with you so why not just leave this for us and not make it a tag in your episode which touches upon much bigger things Bee shared that deserve more spotlight than pitting two groups against each other, it’s harmful, in my opinion, for women that truly rely on these groups, when a cis man frames questions like that in a public podcast about private groups. You also proceeded to share what you read in a post that you saw a screenshot of, while acknowledging the unethical practice of screenshots being shared out of the private group. And then you proceeded to laugh about it. I can understand that for some people the world of social media is a virtual game. But these groups have changed literal trajectories of women’s lives and many serious life threatening situations have been brought up, you making light of these groups in a public podcast is a bit of a disservice to what these groups actually represent
Loved listening to Bee gul so charismatic, enjoyed her writing brilliant !! I agree with her that women are never forgiven, all the "izzat" is associated with women in Pakistani drama, our society loves victim shaming. In a patriarchal society men are given a free pass , "men will be men " the original sin is blamed on the women , they are the temptress, inferior intellect as from the rib of a man and hell will be filled with women are clergy indoctrination of centuries. Most of the women in our society have become self hating women, while men after cardinal sins can do tauba,umrah, are born again.
