People calling Karl evil failed to understand the story of Extella Link. Karl and Charlemagne are the same person, but at different moments of their lives, and embodying different aspects of his “self” (the legend of the Paladins and the historical Founder of the Holy Roman Empire). In Link Karl was an antagonist because he found a supposed answer to the despair he faced at the end of his life, while Charlemagne, his younger self, disagreed with his more ruthless way of saving the world. In the end both sides want the same thing (an empire where all people are happy) so you can’t really call one evil.
In the True Ending of Fate/Extella Link, Charlie says "Next time someone summons "Charlemagne," it'll be more like him...but with a tiny part of me in there too" So i guess the 3rd ascension calls for that line

Id like to also think that in the other ending when charlie went and bid farewell to hakunon and go on an adventure to get used to being a servant and ends up in lb 6.5 (thats just my headcanon). Hopefully we might see some servant lines from the cast of extella about him being familiar
Ironically, the reverse happened. According to his profile in FGO, although in this ascension he gets mixed a bit with Karl, he's still mostly Charlemagne and his personality barely changes at all. He's not evil in the story either, as far as I know. So, Karl is the actual tiny part.

Since you also play Extella, You can probably get it. At the first glance, I thought that's his second outfit which you can unlock from clearing the Extra battle. 😅

For most DPS Servants, NP 2 at the very least is preferred. However, for generic usage alone, NP1 is enough, though you may find her NP damage a bit lacking in comparison without her mods.

@@ivanbluecool eh story gated stuff is nothing new. We've had story gated ascensions, skill upgrades, costumes etc before. Its a cool story bonus that doesnt require much additional work by the devs

Melusine was fine as it was different colors Meanwhile they don't give you actually outfits already in game like skama blue and everyone I just listed earlier. They don't even Need to do anything it's already in code

He is not "evil" Charlie, he is simply Karl mixed in with Charlie, if you look at his armor you will notice it has attributes from both peeps.
