Only heard this for the first time last evening, as it came on the car radio. I was driving home through the cold and misty Mendip Hills south of Bath and this filled the airwaves. Sublime.
I love this music which Classic FM introduced me to and reminds me of occasionally when they play it. What's more, because I know the name Novak that way, on learning he wrote a setting of Traum durch die Dämmerung I felt I had to learn it. It is a lovely, romantic song with shifting but nicely evolving tonality.
Beautifully inspiring music, God though does not dwell in temples made with hand according to scriptures , he lives and dwells within those who Love him and believe in him and follow him in newness of life . Their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit which is God dwelling within his children.

Such an evocative piece of music. And a beautiful video of what "church" means. The otherworldliness and even spacey feel of it was great to hang out with for ten minutes.
I suspect that if Libor Pesek was the conductor, then the orchestra on this recording was the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, not the RPO. I still love the music
What a beautiful piece of music... Once again, I heard this on CLASSIC FM.... I'm sure I have heard it before... Was it featured in the movie Indianna Jones And The Last Crusade??... Big apologies if I am totally wrong....
No need for apologies I have no knowledge of this piece being used in a film score. It is part of a longer work called the Slovak Suite. I have done a video for another part of this suite which you can find here ruclips.net/video/5c2cNk9kETk/видео.html&ab_channel=Arthur%26Olive
A truly inspiring piece of music and wonderful to "wind down" to. Thank you Novak.
Such beautiful music, it makes your spirit soar beyond this world, thank the Lord for composers who write such moving music.

The organ blows me away.
It suspect it will be Ian Tracey playing the organ. He has been (since 1980) and still is, the organist at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral.

God version with organ and harp...
I've never heard a Slovak suite in such a beautiful version...

We are glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks, what you might call a 'composite of churches' including the old oak at the beginning.

I think your right
It’s the version that’s regularly played on Classic FM.
