listening to this again and it just hit me that maybe the thing i love most about it is the part starting at 3:17 which to me has this layer of desperation to it that feels so freaking intense that you cant even really process it but can only just physically move, run or dance. when i was younger i thought dancing was something one would only do out of joy and love for life, but in the meantime i have recognised that one can dance because of so much more and despair is one of the feelings you can dance for, out of sheer longing, before you lose your mind, just out of the loss of alternatives and the inability to process and find another outlet. and dancing for all of that can be so liberating.
Your revelation reminds me of the dancing scene from the Joker with Hoaqin Phoenix.
