this game is so nostalgic, remembering that i could never get past part 2 of the otwer of spirits, the i quit and year later i solved it. One of my favorite games based on nostalgia. Phantom hourglass also scores high on the nostalgia list. They aren't perfect games, but they are good.
Technically this was my first Zelda game because my dad gave me his ds but when I was a kid I just ran around and had no idea wtf was going on, looking back I was like 5 or 6
i mean, i would take death if i could pilot my own personal suit of invincible armor. well, its not like durability is a big deal cause theres no one inside that can die, but knowing im wearing something that wont fall apart for any reason is pretty good.
in this game i only manage to make it to 22:35 after than i was stuck the whole time but now looking at it after so long i want to play it again but i dont know where the card went for this game :/ sadly
It's so much more fascinating to watch this after a spiritual awakening. I love the music that starts playing at 45:30 it invokes so many mystical thoughts 😇🔮
My childhood game... THAT I THREW OUT :(((( MY dad gave it to me for a gift...and if he's dead I won't have my Ds that he gave me... I still remember how I felt when I got it, I was so happy.
well acording to lore, "the spirit of the hero" isnt exactly the name link. it works kinda like how zelda is always a reencarnate of the goddess hylia, the spirit of the hero always inhabits the body of every generation of link thats needed at the time. its kinda like reencarnation, kinda not, though you'd be inclined to think so on account of the constant naming of link and wearing green tunics. i feel that the spirit of the hero is just that, a old soul of the first link, but rather than direct rebirth, or indirect reencarnation, i think its like your ancestor (related by blood or not) secretly giving some of how power that he once had. and its quite possible that "the spirit of the hero" is none other than the player. as no matter what the hero is named, we are the controller of the outcomes, our meta knowledge and influence acts like a superpower, like how in any other game, the character you 'choose' to 'enhance' always has a MC air about them. we always gave our assistance, from the very first legend of zelda, to the latest, every game we personally oversought, that link has enhanced powers, because of us.
The part of the game that I had 0 clue is the desert temple location, either I missed a clue or you were suppose to randomly place bomb till you find the entrance. I had to use a guide to solve it :/
I got stuck years ago and gave up. But now im back with a nds, r4 card, and time to spare. And im using this video as a guide to finish the game. It would be more fulfilling to finish the game without cheats, but atp i just wanna finish it.
The first one I play was the boat wein I was a kid then I played this one and that’s how I fell in love with them my goodness me the days so ever so quickly is scary to think about it wish I could go back and do it all over again 💙🙂
Well I have the phantom hourglass but not spirit tracks. My dad didn't know what I liked at the time so he put phantom houglass but I guess not this game so I watched it from here.
I remember having this game for my Nintendo dsi and it was like the hardest game I’ve ever played still it this day. Tbf I was like 8 when I got it but still
Si el creador de este video se pasa por aquí gracias por hacer este video mi FS se daño y no pude terminar el juego y me puse muy triste y solo me pase para poder revivir la experiencia gracias
This game was the second game I played on DS, my cousins secretly gimme his DS cuz my parents didnt want me to game lol. Aah i remember literally just playing it hours after hours, unlocking everything. Good times
Kinda disagree with the control scheme criticism in the description. Rolling instead of attacking is never an issue. You just tap the enemy once. Even if you did double tap, rolling requires you to be running, and is outweighed by attacking in terms of importance, so you must have been tapping away from the enemy.
The days when me and my brother would play this, when there was nothing to worry about, with everything that’s happening right now, not just the virus, has made me so sad. 🤧😭😥
You missed a treasure chest at 4:53:16. You missed another one at 4:56:35. You missed yet another one at 6:04:38, and another one at 6:09:43. Why did you forget so many?
This game makes me feel nostalgic
I never played it but I have played LEGO Harry Potter 1-4 on the ds and I agree
Yes sir
Me tooo
Me too
This is my first Zelda game and I lost my Nintendo DS so I came here to get my memories in the past..

Sameeee. This is my first zelda game and I lost my nintendo dsi.
same
Exact same for me, except i lost the game, not the ds.
oh god i was so young when i started playing this game. It pulled me through countless things. I am so grateful that there are full playthroughs here
Am I the only one who thinks that the music in this game is awesome
Nope
no you insane person
No, i also do! It’s such an underrated soundtrack
I love the friendship between Zelda and Link in this game. It was the best in all the Zelda games and you can't tell me otherwise
it was good in skyward sword too
The amount of times Link gets tossed around like an old sock in this game is higher than my Social Studies grade

This was my first zelda. I remember renting it at a DVD store. Was sad when the week ended and I had to return it.
I only just remembered this and I loved it as a kid. This here is my childhood
I have played phantom hourglass and I’m still waiting for this game to come in the mail
this was the first game i ever played, got it when i was 6 for the DS lite. i’m now 17. i got so much love for this game.
Same!! First game on the DS lite at 6 years old now I'm about to be 20. This game is timeless and classic.

This makes me very nostalgic. It reminds me of a time without coronavirus and everything being non-chaotic and more simple.
