Hey, I hope you see this comment, I really need to put windows 10 on my asus chromebook 516 ge, but when I do my steps it says unable to set XATTR operation not permited, this is a very very specific problem and I think I’m only going to solve it with your help, please, I have 3 months trying 😢❤
PLzzzz help what i do it says Unable to complete install: 'internal error: process exited while connecting to monitor: 2023-07-26T20:20:44.622336Z qemu-system-aarch64: Expected key=value format, found hv_relaxed.'
Thanks for the very helpful video! I got Windows 10 up and running (walking, crawling?) on my Lenovo Flex 5i (8gb ram Intel i3 11th gen). It works but it's rather sluggish. Do you have any tips/tricks for increasing performance?
It is pretty slow at first. Just give it a minute or two to settle each time you load it and it will be fine. I've been using full version of Excel without any issues. I did increase my cores to 6 rather than 4. You could try that if you have any available. I'll copy in a video link of a video I've done since and it covers some things you might find helpful.

I can't really help with something I didn't have an issue with. There may be many reasons why and it could be due to other software you've installed. Therefore I'd recommend checking on Google for your specific issue for help. Hope you get it sorted.
Hi thanks for the video, so I tried to install windows 10 step by step with your instruction on my Acer Chromebook Spin 513, and in the final step of instalation it says (Unable to complete install: internal error: process exited while connecting to monitor: 2023-02-2321:26:01.920911Z qemu-system-aarch64: Expected key=value format, found h_relaxed!) So what I must do with that error?
The best thing to do is Google the error mentioning you're trying to install Windows using KVM on your Chromebook. It might mean some reading and research to get it fixed. Hope it works out.
I Have This Lenovo Chromebook I Tried To Install Windows 11 On This Chromebook To Replace Chrome OS To Windows There Are Common Errors And How To Fix Them Can U Do Tutorial For Me Please?
I can't I'm afraid because I don't recommend installing Windows OS and removing ChromeOS. If you want a windows laptop then it's best to buy a Windows laptop. ChromeOS is the way forward, and apart from business both consumer and education markets have moved away from windows to more reliable cloud based OS such as ChromeOS.
Excellent tutorial. I've ollowed everything with precision and am getting that inactive error relating to the network. When I get to this command sudo virsh net-start default I get the following error back... error: error from service: GDBus.Error:org.fedoraproject.FirewallD1.Exception: COMMAND_FAILED: 'python-nftables' failed: internal:0:0-0: Error: Could not process rule: No such file or directory - Suffice to say that I have no idea how to correct. I'm so close! I have an Asus Chromebook Flip C436 with an i7 10510U, 16Gb of RAM and a 256Gb SSD so it has plenty of power to run Windows 10.
I would check to make sure you're typing the command line exactly. It may be that you're missing something. If it still does not work, have you tried restarting your computer. I know it may feel time consuming, but I've done it a couple of times now and you do get used to it. Let me know how it works on your C436, I'm sure it should run well.
Hello again. Many thanks for your reply. I decided to delete the whole Linux environment and start again from scratch following every single step and it worked! Windows 10 is installing as I type this. One thing occurred to me. With VMWare and Virtualbox on Windows there is a "tools" executable for the client device that improves performance such as 3D acceleration of the client machine. Either VMWare tools or Virtualbox tools. Was wondering if there was something similar for this virtual machine manager? Once again, many thanks for your reply. 😊
I'm glad it worked for you on the second occasion. I'm not sure on your question about performance. There may be but I've not looked into it. I personally felt I got better performance when I gave 6 cores to the virtual machine, as I had 8 in total. You could try that if you have enough processor cores.
Very informative video! Well done! Thank you for covering these issues.
Glad it was helpful!

I installed windows 7 on chromebook but no internet access
I can't remember whether it uses your ChromeOS credentials for WiFi or whether you need to set it up inside windows as well.
